Welcome to Slowtide House, a waterfront home in Mystic Island, New Jersey, where the Pine Barrens meet the bay. This modern coastal retreat sits on a quiet lagoon with direct access to Great Bay, making it ideal for boating, kayaking, fishing, and relaxed shore living.

With water views, private dock, and stylish modern-vintage décor, Slowtide House is designed for guests looking to slow down while staying close to Long Beach Island beaches, Atlantic City, waterfront dining, and hiking in the Pine Barrens.

Slowtide House is only 1 hour & 10 minutes from Philadelphia, 20 minutes to Long Beach island, and 30 minutes to Atlantic City.

Guests will have exclusive access to the entire home, including all indoor living spaces, the outdoor areas, and the private dock on the lagoon.

There are no shared spaces on the property. Please note that certain storage areas or owner closets may be locked and are not accessible to guests.

Our private dock and lagoon access are a special part of Slowtide House—please use them responsibly.
• Dock use is at your own risk
• No diving or jumping from the dock at any time
• Children and pets must be supervised on the dock at all times
• Do not feed wildlife (birds, fish, turtles, etc.)
• Secure all kayaks, paddleboards, and water toys after use
• Any items lost in the water (kayaks, paddles, life jackets, gear) are not the owner’s responsibility and may be charged if they belong to the property
• Be mindful of tides, weather, and boat traffic
• Follow all local boating and safety regulations

I love kayaking, sunsets on the dock, and exploring the Pine Barrens, Tuckerton Seaport, Smithville, and nearby LBI. I enjoy helping guests discover local hidden gems while giving them privacy to enjoy the home and bay at their own pace.
