The Space:

Perdido Key is the perfect destination for a getaway with friends and family. Located near the canal, this snowbird-friendly home offers everything you need for an unforgettable and tranquil vacation. This retreat is conveniently located three miles away from Perdido Key Beach and Big Lagoon State Park. If you brought your boat along, Galvez Landing is a half mile away. Enjoy a tranquil evening in your enclosed backyard featuring a gas grill, an extensive patio with several seating options, and a seating area with a firepit, perfect for cozy evenings under the stars. The kitchen is fully equipped with all the necessary appliances to prepare mouth-watering homemade meals, while the private washer/dryer ensures you can stay comfortable during your extended stay. The living room and dining area are simply unique with hand-carved teak furniture. Spread out comfortably on the recliners in the living area and watch a favorite show on the TV with surround sound with subwoofers. There is an electric fireplace available for the winter months. Enjoy board games for additional fun, while a Pack 'N Play is provided for the little ones. A workspace is perfect for remote work and distance learning. This darling property also has central AC to keep you cool in the summer months and a Germ Guardian portable air purifier.

We had a great stay! There was plenty of space for everyone, and it was the perfect spot for a relaxing beach getaway. We really enjoyed our time here and would definitely stay again!It was clean and smelled great when we arrived.

If you’re looking for true Florida charm, this place is for you. The home was built in 1957, and the owners have very unique and charming taste befitting to the homes age. Everything was exceptionally clean and cozy. Beds were on the firm side, which was perfect for me. We did have an initial problem with the front A/C but after an extensive search, we found a thrown circuit breaker. The staff person was very helpful and responded quickly. If we’re ever back in the area, we’ll definitely stay here again.

Absolutely loved our stay! The home was charming, comfortable, clean, and easy to settle into. There were plenty of towels, linens, and extra blankets, and the entire space felt very welcoming.I thought I might miss having a dishwasher, but honestly, it wasn’t an issue for us. We mostly used disposable items, and the pots and pans provided were great. My only two small suggestions would be to provide a little more bath tissue for larger parties and a bit more dish detergent since there isn’t a dishwasher. We drove in, so picking up extra detergent wasn’t a big deal, but for guests flying in, having to purchase a full bottle for a short stay could be inconvenient.Those are truly minor suggestions, though. My family really loved this home. The décor gave it so much personality and made the stay feel especially cozy. My daughter loved the little crab in the window and the giraffe in the foyer, and I loved the 3D artwork throughout the home. The theme was beautifully done without feeling overdone.If this home is available the next time we’re in the area, we would definitely stay here again!
