Provincetown has its quirks, so one of the most valuable assets of a property is a communicative host. During our stay: the cleaning service was running behind schedule, we got confused about the door code (note: ignore the lockbox, open the screen door to find the doorknob’s number panel), the internet went out throughout town, a deck board needed repair, and our friend lost his glasses in the unit and they were found by the next renters. In every case, Joel was *extremely* fast to respond and take action, and even proactive. I’d stay at one of his properties again just to know that he was there as a safety net.The unit is adorable, well set-up, well maintained, and convenient to food, cocktails, galleries, coffee, and sundries. The shared waterfront decks are a delight, whether for watching dogs on the beach in the morning, meditating, a game, a glass of wine, or sunbathing in a lounger. The bathroom and kitchen have tons of storage, and the kitchen has all the things you might want; note that only one bedroom has a closet to hang things, since the other bedroom’s closet is the washer/dryer. The mattresses are comfortable (in that firm-ish, plain kind of way), and the living room furniture is the kind of comfortable that makes you say, “wow, this is actually surprisingly comfortable” The bedrooms do face the road, but we didn’t have an ounce of trouble sleeping, whether we went to bed at 9:30 or 1. Each room has a noise machine. Nightlife is west of this spot, anyways.
