A farm stay in our newly remodeled farmhouse that was built in 1919 and conveniently located off highway 211 at the entrance to the Victorian town of Ferndale. Located less than 2 miles from downtown and 2 miles from highway 101. It is the perfect location in a quiet, rural setting. It sits on the edge of our 100 acre working organic beef ranch. It is the perfect balance for families, couples, or small groups looking to slow down and recharge!
Prime location and privacy is what you will have booking Ferndale Farmhouse Retreat. You will have a country setting with the conveniences of everything this area has to offer close by.
Wake up to open fields, fresh air and quiet morning in this beautifully refreshed 3 bedroom, 2 bath home. Inside you'll find a bright cozy space with a clean farmhouse aesthetic, comfortable beds and large windows that bring the outdoors in. You can hide away in the sunroom, relax and read to your hearts content. Whether you're here for a weekend getaway or a longer stay, the house is designed for comfort and simplicity. Outside you'll enjoy peaceful surroundings...perfect for morning coffee in the sunroom, evening sunsets, bike rides down a country lane, or simply unwinding away from the noise as you sit around the firepit and roast marsh mellows or play ping pong and games in the garage.

I told Laurel that part of me wished this property would remain a secret, known only to me and a few friends. But I'm afraid the word is out. This is a great place to stay, especially for a family!

Our family really enjoyed The White House. We actually booked it again a year in advance because it was amazing. Everything was super clean, tidy and the beds were very comfortable. You can tell that the owner has put a lot of thought and time into making this a great place for their guests. The place offers about everything you could think of to make a such a great place to stay. Kitchen was well stocked with everything you would need to cook food if desired. Very family friendly and there are several various sizes of bikes for all ages. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone without reservation.

My family had a great stay at this adorable country home. Laurel is a wonderful and thoughtful host- even leaving fresh cookies. The home is very clean and had everything we needed to enjoy our Humboldt County visit. Loved the cows, too! Thank you!
