Communication with the host was easy and very pleasant from booking and throughout the stay of our work trip . The home itself is very nice and cozy, which is very nice when you have to be away from home for work. We are very pleased and appreciative.

Upon arrival, the grass and weeds were overgrown in front and back, making the dock hard to access. There was also a gate that was tied shut, blocking dock access. Although the description of the property said there was a room with a king bed 2 rooms with queen beds and a twin, there was instead 3 rooms with queen beds and a twin. The dishwasher was full of dirty dishes that stank and the coffee pot was dirty. There was only one dishwashing pod on property. There were only 4 place settings on property so it slept 7 but only fed 4 and there were only coffee cups, no other drinkware in the “fully stocked kitchen”. There were wasps and spiders in the house and ant beds in the tall grass. We informed the host of these issues and they acknowledged them, initially said they would fix some of them then later said they would fix them for the next guest. None of these issues were fixed for us during our visit. We interacted with Anthony and Jen during our visit. Anthony quoted what was advertised in the description, Jen was better able to answer our questions, sometimes their answers differed. We chose the property for the room with a king sized bed and the dock access and had neither. There were broken pieces of wood in cabinets and under the bed, some closets had trash and decorations in them and the kitchen table only fit 4 chairs. If I had known about any of this before booking, I would have booked elsewhere. Hosts were nice polite and apologetic but didn’t fix any of the issues.
