The Space:

This lovely cabin is a haven in the woods. Enjoy the charming forest views from the private hot tub or while grilling on the gas grill. After a long day of adventuring, guests can kick back next to the gas fireplace or roast marshmallows in the firepit. For some friendly competition, play a game of pool or air hockey together.



This home is on the Benton MacKaye Trail, a moderate 50-mile hiking trail that includes the Toccoa River Swinging Bridge. Cowgirl Up Stables is based just over six miles away, offering up horseback riding fun with beginners in mind. The Expedition: Bigfoot! Sasquatch Museum offers an unconventional museum experience just two-and-a-half miles away.



Things to Know

Check-in time: 4:00 PM.

Check-out time: 10:00 AM.

All guests shall abide by Vacasa’s good neighbor policy and shall not engage in illegal activity. Quiet hours are from 10:00 PM to 8:00 AM.

No smoking is permitted anywhere on the premises.

Guests should not tow large items (RVs, trailers, boats, etc.) due to backcountry roads that are not always passable.

Quick getaway to the mountains and stumbled across this place! My boyfriend and I were able to relax, sit by the fire, spend the day in Blue Ridge & eat some great food (recommend Rose’s Smash House & Guagio’s). Watched some football and listened to the sounds of the creek, crickets & critters. We will definitely save this location for another visit.

The location is wonderful. I loved that we were by a major trail and the running creek nearby was fun for my kids to play in and nice to listen to. I was given inaccurate information from my first contact with the host, a management company, regarding kitchen items and then when we arrived the hot tub had a sign as not in use. The property is advertised with a hot tub and I was even sent the lock information for the hot tub! My young kids were really upset that we didn’t get to have a hot tub. I contacted the host and was given the run around for over a week and instead of following up with what I was told they were doing… they told me we weren’t charged a “hot tub fee” and nothing could be done. What a joke. There are tons of properties available especially in the swing season and I wish we picked a different one… again we loved the location but for the price it was run down with furniture nearly broken, tv didn’t work well, hard pillows, and even the game room all the pool sticks are chipped the chairs are broken and the hot tub is broken.

Hot tub took 24 hours to heat from 80 to 102, not very discreet as it is wide open to the street. Perhaps some lattice? The lake was fine, though i was hoping to fish a little and there signs all over saying no fishing

Lovely getaway cabin

The cabin is exactly as pictured. Extremely cozy. Loved the hot tub. The location was very central to the little towns we wanted to visit. Would definitely stay here again and recommend it highly.

Overall it was a great stay

My family and I enjoyed our stay. However, we did run into issues with the grill and the hot. The customer service was great at communicating with me. I don't know if we would stay here again, but I would recommend it to other families.

Our 6th anniversary trip!

This was our first trip to the mountains, we had a amazing time, and our cabin was absolutely perfect! Very clean and comfortable! Very cozy ☺ we can't wait to come back!
