The finished walkout basement provides a second living area, making it easy for kids and adults to spread out for movies or game night. Step outside to enjoy the private hot tub, patio, and fire pit. Plenty of seating provided for your whole group.

The fully stocked kitchen has everything you need to prepare meals for your group, including pots and pans, mixing bowls, baking dishes, wine glasses, an air fryer, tea kettle, drip coffee maker, and a propane grill for outdoor cooking. Whether you’re preparing a holiday feast or simply enjoying morning coffee, you’ll feel right at home.

While the cabin offers a secluded setting, it is conveniently located between many of Northern Michigan’s favorite destinations. Explore Kalkaska (23 minutes), Higgins Lake State Park (31 minutes), or Houghton Lake (32 minutes), Cadillac (47 minutes), Gaylord (51 minutes), or Traverse City (54 minutes). Spend your days fishing, boating, golfing, skiing, or discovering the many charming towns throughout the area.

Please note that this is a peaceful, rural retreat. Most grocery stores, restaurants, and shopping are 30+ minutes away, so we recommend stocking up on supplies before arriving. In return, you’ll enjoy quiet evenings under the stars, crackling campfires, and the slower pace that makes Northern Michigan so special.

You will be provided a code to check in with our smart lock. You will have the whole house to yourself except for one locked room in the basement that is for our cleaners use only.

Quiet hours are from 11:00 PM to 7:00 AM. Please help us be respectful of our neighbors during these hours. Maintaining good relationships with local residents helps protect vacation rentals like ours and keeps them available for future guests.
Pets must be kept on a leash at all times when outside. We have neighbors with pets of their own, and we appreciate everyone being mindful and respectful of their homes and animals.
Please clean up after your pets. Disposable pet waste bags are provided on the front porch for your convenience. Thank you for helping keep the property clean for everyone.
Please clean and put away any items you use. This includes small kitchen appliances and the outdoor grill. We appreciate you leaving everything ready for the next guest.
Help us keep the hot tub clean and enjoyable. Before entering, please use the foot rinse tray located next to the steps to remove any dirt, grass, or debris from your feet.
Before leaving the property, please lock all doors and turn off lights. This helps keep the home secure and energy-conscious.
