Fantastic property! Stocked with all kinds of water toys, fishing stuff, kayaks, paddle board, hot tub, floaties. House is also stocked with everything you need for the kitchen, bathrooms, towels, beach towels, board games. Great place for all ages. The morning sunrise on the water is beautiful!

This property was the perfect place to bring our Italian exchange student and rather large family where we could explore Michigan and have an amazing home base. She loved going out boating in the lake as well.

Great place and location

Family Vacation

We loved our stay at the chalet. The lake was actually our favorite part! We spent a a very hot week floating, fishing, playing on the raft, paddleboarding and basically living in the water.

Cozy Get-away in the Woods

Our stay at Cub Hill Chalet was very enjoyable. The hot tub was excellent for relaxing in the evenings. The house felt very cozy.

This was a lovely weekend getaway location for some friends and family. All the rooms were cozy and clean. We loved the hot tub and watching the sunrise over the lake. Counter space was a little lacking, but we made do. Overall it was a very relaxing house out in nature.

Great stay!

The house was the perfect size for our group of 10, we enjoyed having separate rooms and plenty of space. The check in and out process was easy and quick and communication was great! We loved the large deck, hot tub, and fire pit area. Just beware the hill is a little steep

Beautiful Cub Hill!

Wonderful experience. Clean, quiet, beautiful view and calm quiet Cub lake. Highly recommend. My family's 2 time at this BNB and we look forward to renting it again.

Fun time on the lake.

Beautiful spot right on the lake with private lake access. Kayaks and conoes provided on-site. Fun relaxing time.

House was cute. Lack of AC would have been a major problem if the weather had been hotter. The lake was quiet and relaxing. The hot tub was a nice bonus.

Great Getaway

We really enjoyed our stay! The cottage was very clean and spacious. We loved the quiet neighborhood and tranquility of the lake. Everyone enjoyed the hot tub and sledding hill! The wood burning fireplace was extra cozy. A great place to stay. Great communication!

This is the quintessential northern Michigan cottage in a quiet location on a sweet little lake. The cottage was well-stocked with essentials and had lots of water toys and life jackets. I'd preface my 3-star review with the fact that I've never given anything other than a 5-star review...We had young kids with us on this trip and there are portions of the deck where the railing is nonexistent and a serious fall risk. We had to make our own barrier to ensure nobody walked off the end of the deck where there was a 2-3 foot drop off. The kitchen ceiling is sagging above the refrigerator and was leaking during a storm. The upstairs bathroom is quite outdated. The temps were in the 90's while we were there and having no Central AC or window air conditioning units was disappointing for how much the nightly rate is. With improvements, this cottage is the perfect place for a family to stay.
