Welcome to our family Beach House. Our home is situated across from the beach access. This beach is a great sandy beach that slopes slowly for the younger kids and has a great break for surfing.

Our home has an open and airy feeling with vaulted ceilings, a large inviting kitchen with ocean view, hardwood floors throughout, and decks off the kitchen, master bedroom and living room. The living room has views of the ocean, a large comfortable leather sectional couch, a TV with DVD, CD and audio receiver with speakers. The kitchen features all new appliances, a dishwasher, trash compactor, large refrigerator, Viking Stove, and a bar with seating for three. Adjacent to the kitchen is a deck with a stainless steel built-in barbeque. The dining room also has ocean views and a large table with seating for 4 kids and 4 adults.

Our Four bedroom house can easily accommodate 9 people. We have three bedrooms downstairs with 2 bedrooms with Queen beds, and one room with three twin beds (bunk + trundle). Downstairs is also a full bath with an extra large tiled shower that is attached to a mud room. Also, downstairs is an extra room (like a sunroom) with no beds in it and attaches to the laundry room that has a washer and dryer.

Upstairs is a half bath, living room, kitchen, and dining area that is all open with vaulted ceilings. There is also a large Master bedroom with a full bath. The bathroom has a tub and shower, and a sink with a limestone counter. The bedroom has California King bed with french doors that go out to a deck area.

We believe Cayucos is one of the best-kept secrets. Our beaches are unspoiled with few people and great weather!

The property was great, beautiful, exactly as described, and very comfortable and enjoyable, whether you are just hanging out or using it as a base camp to explore all the local attractions. The owner was in touch as needed and very responsive! Will go again and recommend to others.

Great Ocean Access

Our family had an amazing stay at this home. The house was clean upon arrival and had everything we needed for a great beach vacation. You cannot beat the proximity to the public beach access. Debbie was very responsive to any questions we had. Can't wait to visit again.

Wonderful property

My family and I had a week at this property and thoroughly enjoyed ourselves! The host was particularly wonderful and the property was just as it was described. It was well appointed, had easy access, and was charming to boot. The host actually came and opened up the piano for my children who played for hours and practiced! Can’t get better than that! Great house across from beach

Quiet area, almost a hidden area that is not traveled on unless you live in this neighborhood. Beach is across the street and down some steep stairs so if you have oldsters it might not be great for them to go up and down these stairs. House is clean, well lit and has everything you need. Beds were good , showers good water pressure and kitchen had everything we needed for cooking meals. Definitely would stay here again. Love the area and 15 minures from SLO

Beautiful home/perfect location

This home is a perfect location for a coastal getaway! In addition to being a beautiful home, the beach access was immediately across the street. The 4 bedroom home was perfect for our family and enabled us to host guests throughout the week. The host was responsive and accommodating. We loved the open living area next to the kitchen. Beautiful view from the top floor/main living area as well! And Cayucos was the perfect location for a 2 week stay. Close to other towns and lots of cute shops and delicious restaurants. I would highly recommend this home!

Perfect location at the beach

We had a lovely stay at Debbie & Thom's beautiful Cayucos home. The location is perfect - just across the street from the beach access, and they had everything you needed from chairs and towels to wet suits and surf/boogie boards. The house was very well appointed - particularly the kitchen. Debbie was super responsive and helpful. Definitely recommend staying here.

Best Everything!!!

Best location! Best hosts! Best house! Best amenities! Best communication! The. Best. Vacation. Evverrrr!!! When we walked in the front door, the house was so clean the floors and windows sparkled! We are grandparents with our son, his wife, and three grandchildren. It could not have been more perfect. The only issue we had is I couldn't find the guard rail for the top bunk when we arrived. A quick text to Debbie resulted in a prompt response that it's quite large so it is stored in the closet under the stairs. It's the best guard rail I've ever seen. A previous guest mentioned lots of stairs. Indeed, and at 76 I feel in better condition for it. Lots of stairs in the house and my Fitbit counted the steep beach access stairway as 2 flights. 15-21 flights per day plus walks on the beach, tons of fresh air, and fabulous, healthy food prepared by our children in the wonderful kitchen, gave me the best lab test results and doctor's visit in years! Loved the yard and location.

This house was in a great location with public beach access just across the street. We were able to enjoy time at the beach everyday and some days multiple times each day. Our kids ranged from 6 to 9 and the yard in the front was perfect for them to have a place outside to play. Debbie was wonderful through the process. She checked in about things we might need and took great care to make sure we would have a positive experience.

Labor Day Weekend Dream

We enjoyed every moment of our labor day weekend getaway at this Cayucos gem. We were extremely pleased to find property exactly as advertised! It is right across the street from a beach access point, which made it easy as we were traveling with 2 kids under 6 and an infant. The house was clean and the common areas were spacious and allowed for the kids to play and crawl around the living room (but beware of the stairs!). One thing that is NOT advertised in the listing is the warm hospitality that Debbie provides, over text. Thank you, Debbie!

We had a wonderful family stay in Cayucos. Deb’s beach house is welcoming , clean, very comfortable for the whole family, sooo close to the beach, and has everything you might need for a beach vacation. Sunsets from The living room and deck really great! Lots of fun activities nearby

Great beach house for a family

Debbie's place is perfect for any family looking for a low key spot to enjoy some time by the beach. The house itself is large and comfortable with great views of the ocean and plenty of space for relaxing. And the location really can't be beat since it's just a few steps from a small, quiet trail leading to the ocean. As others have noted, the steps down to the beach are on the steep side and there can be a lot of dogs, particularly on the weekend, but we never had any issues, even with a 5 year old and 2 year old in tow. The house is on a sleepy little street just off the highway, but there's really no traffic noise and it's just a short drive into Cayucos and Morro Bay. Throughout our stay, Debbie was a warm, helpful host. For instance, the oven broke just before check-in, but she provided a top of the line toaster oven that was easy to use and we mostly relied on the outdoor gas grill anyway. Only thing to note is to come prepared with your own soap, shampoo and other toiletries. Again, no big deal. All in all, a great vacation.

Beautiful home, great beach location.

Owners were incredibly present with answering questions via phone/text. Super easy check in. House was gorgeous. Loved that everyone had access to deck which had ocean view. Convenient to beach. Outdoor shower was wonderful for rinsing off. Beds were comfortable, house was cozy. Everything we needed.

A beautiful and quiet beach escape

This is a wonderful, quiet, relaxing beach property. If you love the beach, but don't like the crowds and beach party atmosphere, this place is for you! Tucked into a very quiet neighborhood, the beach barely had anyone on it, even in mid-June. The house is as beautiful as the pictures make it look, and has wonderful views from the second story kitchen, where you can hear the ocean waves as you eat and relax. The host is very responsive and while we didn't need anything during our stay, I'm sure would have been on top of our needs. A couple items to note is that the beach access is literally across the street from the house, but there is a set of steep stairs (about 30 stairs) to get down to the beach. Additionally there is a dog beach very close by and there were many off-leash dogs on the beach. We never had any issues with them, even with our little ones.

Perfect place for family to gather

Debbie and Thom’s place was clean, spacious, updated and organized. This made for a very relaxing family stay. Beautiful views all across the family room windows. We enjoyed a nice back deck BBQ as well. Debbie was very responsive. We’d recommend easily anytime.

Restful beach retreat

Location is great, just a few miles from Motto Bay, easy to find in a quite neighborhood. We came to escape the heat of so cal, and enjoy quality family time. The ocean water was much colder than anticipated in August, but the kids didnt mind much. House is comfortable and homey. only hitch was the ice maker and freezer malfuncti oned, but we had a cooler and ice. I recommend this property .

Making family Memories

Amazing property! Great location! Clean and comfortable. In the past, we’ve stayed at several properties along the central coast but this one has been our favorite. This quaint home worked perfectly for our family get-away.

Fantastic beach house

What a great place for a holiday! Our family of 7 comfortably enjoyed Thanksgiving week at the house. Great location just across the street from the beach, wonderful ocean views from the upper living level, and absolutely amazing kitchen for family cooking! We didn't need a thing in order to prepare our family meals, including a full traditional thanksgiving dinner! Rooms and beds were comfortable and clean, and showers had plenty of warm water. Rooms were a little chilly at night (it was cold and rainy much of our visit), but we found extra blankets and were cozy at night after that. We loved the walks on the beach, and the great room was plenty spacious and comfortable for all of us when it was raining outside. The windows all around let in so much light even when it was gray and cloudy - it's a really great space. Thanks so much Debbie for sharing your house and making our thanksgiving break so enjoyable! We will most definitely be back next summer or fall!

Great Family House!

We were in Cayucos for 4 days and 3 nights with our two children and another family of four. This house was perfect. The yard (there’s a yard! Many houses do not have on.) is fenced in, the kitchen is well stocked, there are beautiful views, and there is ocean access right across the street. The house is not in downtown Cayucos, something I forgot to look up. Debbie Hume is a wonderful host who went above and beyond to make sure we were comfortable and enjoyed our stay. We will definitely be back!

Cayucos beach house

My husband found this house a few months before we got married. This location and house is my husband's dream! Waking up and walking across the street to go surfing is incredible. Whether it be the sunsets, surf, or beautiful sandy beach, we love the house and look forward to our days spent there.

My husband's dream location! A house as close as you can get without being oceanfront-he new he had to jump at the possibility. We bought the house and spent years remodeling it during El Nino-ugh-what an experience! Unfortunately, our son became ill at the age of 23 months and our life was spent with him at Stanford's children's hospital. Renting the house enabled us to keep the house. Thankfully our son is here today and we are able to appreciate every day spent with him.

Qué distingue a esta propiedad

We love the quick access to the beach-for beach walks, playing in the surf, or having a bon fire. The house sits on a corner-so parking is never an issue. Plus we like being on a culd-a-sac so that our kids can play in the street or play a game of crochet on the front lawn. Lastly, we like getting on our bikes, when its low tide, and taking a ride on the beach to down town Cayucos for an ice cream.
