Note: Pike View Lodge does not have air conditioning. Open a window in the loft area above and a few down below for a nice breeze through the house.

If you are flying: The Colorado Springs airport is best. It is a 45 minute beautiful drive from there to the Lodge!

The drive: A 4WD vehicle is advantageous if you are arriving in snowy conditions.

Arrival at night: The last part of the drive will be on a fairly dark road with one longer hill to climb.

Access at the Lodge: The driveway is flat. There is a short sidewalk then a few stairs to the front door.

Elevation: Pike View Lodge is at 9500 ft. Check with your doctor before reserving if you have a medical condition.

We use exterior security cameras to ensure the safety of our guests and the protection of the property.

The perfect retreat!

The home was absolutely beautiful and had everything we needed. The view was breathtaking! The owner is so helpful and quick to respond with any questions you may have. We had a wonderful time and i would highly recommend booking this stunning property.

Wonderful Extended Family Trip

We had an awesome visit. The property worked out perfectly for a house full including Parents, kids, grandkids and great grandkids! The communication and support was very good. We would most definitely stay at this site again.

Family Reunion

Absolutely beautiful house and perfect for multiple families w/the 3 levels. Great outdoor deck w/amazing views of Pikes Peak and all of Gods wonderful creations! Highly recommend!!!

Family Retreat

This is our 5th stay at this property and it continues to produce good memories for us. Extended family gathers every 2 years to celebrate the life of our father who loved the mountains and especially Pike’s Peak. Spectacular views and plenty of space for our group of 12.

The view is spectacular, the gathering/living/dining space is great. The bedrooms and bathrooms need some updating.

Pluses and Minuses

We had a wonderful stay because of: 1)fantastic view/location 2)spacious house 3)great bunk room for kids to sleep/play 4)large dining table to accommodate adults/smaller table for kids nearby 5)porta-crib and “high chair” for infant Our stay would have been much better if: 1)All the casement windows would have opened providing us with much more comfort, especially in late afternoon and evening—very few did open. If not for this problem, we would have given a rating of 5 stars. 2)There had been more and better deck furniture. Extra folding chairs to be used as such were all broken and unusable. All but 4 people had to sit on floor of deck. Wood stumps used as seats and end tables were very hard to move around.

Fabulous find

The views of Pikes Peak were amazing. The pictures of the house were exactly as it looks. Sometimes it's not quite the same. The surrounding land was great for one of our group that likes to walk and hike. We had a group of 13 and there was plenty of room for everyone, with some to spare. Erin, the property manager, called us our first night to make sure we had everything we needed. I would recommend this property to anyone.

Pikes Peak Lodge

Fabulous place! Absolutely gorgeous with breathtaking views of Pikes Peak. I only gave 4 stars on cleanliness because the garage needs some attention. The house itself was very clean, spacious and lovely. I would definitely stay here again if ever in the area and would highly recommend for anyone making a trip to Colorado Springs!!! Lovely home with Gorgeous views.

We LOVED our stay at the beautiful Pike View Lodge. Jerry was an incredible host to us, even called after check-in to review some of the house systems/quirks, which was very helpful. One thing to note - the home only has 4 bunks (not 8, as the listing states)... Two bunks on the main floor in a spacious 'bunk room' perfect for kiddos, and two bunks in the basement. This was not a problem for our group but if we had just one more person it would have been. Also, the internet is intermittent. I urge you to enjoy nature here, the deer are very friendly and come around daily. The views are priceless. Highly recommend it for a getaway - away from the hustle and bustle of the city. 10/10 recommend! Thanks again, Jerry!

Not only was the lodge BEAUTIFUL, the views were amazing!!! Jerry was extremely pleasant to work with, even when I was having issues with unlocking the door (a simple process that I was making difficult). I would highly recommend this for large families and groups!!!

Million dollar view

We enjoyed a wonderful family Christmas at the Lodge. We had 12 members and the accommodations were spectacular. The view of Pikes Peak was amazing. We experienced snow, fog, and clear skies. The Lodge was a constant joy. The owner was extremely helpful and always ready to answer questions or assist us with anything we needed. The kitchen was well stocked with everything we needed in terms of pots, pans, or dishes , so fixing meals wasn’t a problem. We strongly recommend staying there!

Stunning views!

The house was very comfortable and well suited for our party of 19. The views were absolutely stunning. The deck was perfect for enjoying a cup of coffee. There was plenty of wildlife. The check in/check out process was very simple. The host took the time to provided a welcome call and was quick to respond to any of our needs (had a short power outage that did not affect our stay at all). Would stay again! One suggestion-an extra full size fridge in the garage would be a real nice addition, as fridge space was a somewhat of a challenge for our large group.

Exceeded expectations!

I booked this property a year in advance for a family reunion. It's always hard to tell for sure from pictures that are posted, but the reviews on the home were what convinced us. This home exceeded all expectations! From the view, to the decor, to the secluded feel while still within a 10 minute drive to town made this the most amazing family reunion we could have asked for. There was plenty of room for 9 adults and 9 kids to sleep, eat, and hang out without feeling like we were stepping on each other's toes. The view from the deck was spectacular! We spent a lot of time visiting on the deck with Pikes Peak in the background. Thank you for the wonderful and relaxing time spent at your home!

Family gathering

This is our 4th trip to this location. Setting and scenery is unbeatable. 7 adults and 2 teenagers on this trip. We have definitely seen a little bit of wear and tear to the property over the 8 years we've traveled to this location, but still a great spot for a private gathering.

Fantastic mountain property

Large house that easily accommodated multiple families with a wide range of kid ages; we could eat or play board games together, the teens loved the entertainment room, and the bedding accommodations were great. We enjoyed the amazing view of Pikes Peak with our morning coffee on the back deck. Easy commute into Woodland Park for supplies and only 15-20 minutes to places like Garden of the Gods. Owners were fantastic communicators. Would absolutely recommend this property.

Quality Family Time

The property is as pictured. The space is perfect for large families. We spent hours on the deck taking in the amazing view. We enjoyed our time in the mountains.

The property has been totally remodeled and is absolutely fabulous. It is the iconic mountain lodge with great room that opens out to a panoramic deck, a million dollar view of Pikes Peak, stone floor to ceiling fireplace, white cedar ceilings, knotty cypress and slate floors, hickory cabinets, log accents, and lots of room to spread out for multi-generation groups.
