Sit back and enjoy the views of the La Have Islands. This cottage is the perfect place to cozy up by the fire or to explore the south shore's many attractions. Minutes to Crescent and Risser's beach. Day tripping to Lunenburg, sitting on the beach, hiking along the shore, or just put your feet up and unwind.
This one level cottage has 2 bedrooms, one with a queen the other with a twin and a double. Large wrap around deck gets the sun all day. Full kitchen and stove or have a BBQ outside.
The cottage is well off the main road so you can let the kids run around and the (infrequent) cars won't disturb your peace and quiet.

A lovely cottage overlooking the ocean on Nova Scotia's South Shore

Kyle's place is excellent in a number of ways. Its location is spectacular - up a hill overlooking the Atlantic along Nova Scotia's South Shore, between Bridgewater and Liverpool. It's a sheltered part of that shore, so you see the LaHave Islands and the ocean beyond. It's a lovely two bedroom cottage full of light, where you have that ocean view all day long. It's a comfortable place with everything you would want for a family with a couple of kids, or two couples. And it's a short walk from the world class baked goods, coffee, sandwiches and artisanal chocolate at the Ploughman's Lunch. And near the beautiful Crescent Beach and Risser's Beach. Our host Kyle was responsive and very helpful all round. We will definitely be back.

A well loved family home

The location is wonderful with so much to do within minutes of the house. A highlight is Rissers Beach provincial Park less than 5 minutes away. The house is simple but comfortable with excellent wifi. It has a superb view of the LaHave islands and the water. The list of amenities needs updating as there is no microwave and the advertised laundry facilities were not available. (The washer is located in an unheated shed and had not been reconnected after the winter). All in all my dog and I had a lovely holiday.

Comfortable Space in Beautiful Surroundings

We loved the cottage, with its peaceful atmosphere and fantastic views of Currie Cove from the main room. The kitchen was well-equipped, and the bed was very comfortable with good linens. We enjoyed the easy access to beaches in the area and loved the local businesses, including the Ploughman's Lunch (great coffees, sourdough bread and lunch sandwiches), the LaHave Bakery (exceptional cookies, coffees and tasty prepared meals!) and finally Cape LaHave Adventures for their amazing kayak tours. We will be back!!!

Great stay

Everything went well with our stay here. Lovely spot, dog friendly area, great beaches. Lahave bakery also has home made frozen meals that could easily be heated up in oven. The crescent beach and riser beach were nearby. Lunenburg was a quick drive away. We would stay here again!

My husband and I needed a getaway from the city over the holidays and this place was perfect! The cottage is beautifully styled and had all of the amenities minus a microwave. It is minutes from two beaches. We will be back for sure!

Relaxing time at the Sea Laughter

Sea Laughter

Sea Laughter was exactly as represented and we were not disappointed. Lovely view from deck and large windows, Crescent Beach just 2 min by car. We loved it! Owners very accessible and helpful. Be sure to visit LaHave Bakery and art galleries, Petite Riviere winery, Lunenburg, and just 90 min to the valley. Fun to search for cafes that have cell and wifi reception from time to time. Sea Laughter a great 'home base' from which to go exploring and come back to its serenity at end of day.

Had such a relaxing time at Sea Laughter....no distractions and enjoyed watching both sunrise and sunset from the deck every day. If you want to unwind, this is the place.
