Large Family Home w/ Parking, Steps from Forsyth Fountain by Lucky Savannah

Situated just West of the famous Fountain at Forsyth Park, Huntingdon Getaway is the ideal vacation home for a large family looking for a local experience.

Park off-street in the designated parking areas and walk into the Savannah home of your dreams. The first level boasts high ceilings and ample natural light. Guests will enjoy kicking back and relaxing in the living room while their favorite show plays on the flat screen TV. An adjoining dining room comfortably seats eight and connects to an open kitchen with stainless steel appliances.

Upstairs, three bedrooms with two full baths accommodate an additional six guests. The first bedroom has a Queen size bed with en suite bath, and the second and third bedrooms have King and Queen size beds, respectively.

Head East towards Savannah's largest green space, Forsyth Park, and grab a bite at a few local favorites. On Saturdays, the Forsyth Farmer's Market gives guests a taste of the local agriculture. Head North along Bull Street for a promenade through the squares. Most of Savannah's main attractions such as Broughton Street, City Market, and the riverfront are just a short 15 minute walk away.

What is parking like for this home?
Huntingdon Getaway includes two private parking spaces off-street: one in the driveway and another in the attached garage, which can accommodate a full-size sedan, or mid-size SUV. Trucks and large SUV's should have no trouble finding a non-metered spot near the home.

Good location

We enjoyed our stay. We had everything we needed plus a good location so close to Forsyth Park. The only thing I wish is that the master bedroom would have curtains and not just mini blinds because of street lights. However it was a very good stay.

Great Place!

The home was great and accommodated our group. Lucky Savannah team were very responsive and made themselves available when I had questions. The location was with in walking distance of Forsyth Park an easy drive to downtown and an easy drive to Hilton Head and Tybee Island. Would stay again!

Great Stay

I booked this home for a sister trip. The house was clean, spacious and well equipped. Is was a very comfortable stay and all of my sisters loved the home. The location was also perfect. Thanksgiving Vacation

The property was as described & we had a comfortable stay. The kitchen was equipped with all we needed to warm & prepare our take out Thanksgiving meal that we picked up the day prior. The garage and parking pad behind it is a great benefit to this home.

Excellent location and beautiful townhouse

The townhouse is exactly like the pictures. Very beautiful and very functional, had everything we needed. Great location in the Historic section of Savannah. Everything was very clean, which is so important to us. We were able to walk to City Market, Foley Park, and other locations. Excellent and easy touch free check in and out.

Seeking Savannah Secrets

The townhome on Huntingdon is very nice and the perfect location to walk to Forsythe Park plus a few restaurants. The kitchen has plenty of cooking pots, pans, and utensils. It is well stocked to cook anything you buy to eat in. We would definitely stay again when we visit Savannah again.

Lucky Savannah was super easy to work with. We arrived early and they had a nice cool location to store our luggage till we could check in to our rental. I would rent from them again as well.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Overall our experience was very positive! The staff was helpful and answered to all our questions. The house was perfect for us, located in a residential area closed to pretty much to everything! 5 minute walk to Forsyth Park, 20 minute walk to the Riverwalk and plenty of restaurants, shops, and coffee places to chose from. The house was very clean, and comfortable. My only 2 complaints are: the sound of cars going by sounded as if the windows were open, I even got up to check. I understand the house is older and that might be the reason. My 2nd complaint, although it was awesome to have the extra cot in the closet, the mattress to the cot should be replaced, it had several stains on it. Everything else was excellent My friends and I would love to return to this location!
