This luxury cabin is the highest elevation of any other 4 BR in Black Bear Falls.

Enjoy the breathtaking, panoramic view of the Great Smoky Mountains from one of two large covered decks. This beautiful log cabin has all the amenities you could wish for on a vacation, including 2 beautiful stone fireplaces and massive windows, while accommodating 16 guests. 'Closer to Home' is equipped with a hot tub, free WiFi, flat screen TV's, DVD player, PlayStation, Wii, as well as boasting a nice patio and 2 grilling stations. You will also enjoy the flat parking area.

There was a group of us - 9 people and Closer To Home was perfect for us. It was very clean and and so comfortable and relaxing. The daily visits from the bears was exciting. The pool was nice and relaxing. Water a little chilly but still an asset. Will definitely stay in Black Bear Falls community again. Well worth it.

Was a great cabin it fit our needs very well. Only issue was the dryer was really slow 2 hours for a load. Other than that great location, great size, plenty of kitchen items for our large group. Would definitely rent again

We had a great time getting away and enjoying this cabin with family! It was a perfect setup for all of us, and we had fun reconnecting and relaxing! It was the perfect location to all the fun Gatlinburg has to offer but far enough away to feel secluded in the mountains. Will definitely stay again when we go back to Gatlinburg.

We loved the views from the deck and the convenience to GSMNP hikes like Grotto and Rainbow Falls. Would stay here again on future trips to Gatlinburg.

Spring Break 2025

We really enjoyed our stay! The house is set up nicely for multiple families. The view is amazing and the kids loved the games and hot tub. We even saw some bears in the neighborhood! We had a great time!

The view is just awesome

3 generations of woman from my family celebrated our 25th of getting together in the Gatlinburg area, the cabin is in a very well kept neighborhood & the view from the cabin is amazing.

One wonderful week together with children and grandchildren. View of Smokies is great. Accommodations were very nice. Easy access to hiking, Gatlinburg attractions, and Dollywood.

Great Cabin, Great Location

Our family had a blast on our stay in “Closer to Home.” Besides the floors not being cleaned, it was a great cabin and the owners were great! We take our family of 10 or so to Gatlinburg every year and this is one of the best cabins we’ve ever stayed in! Hope to stay here again in the future!
