Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This home is in the perfect location for a quiet, laidback beach experience. It’s a few miles from stores, but we enjoyed that! The view from the balcony is beautiful! Just a very short walk to the water. The home was clean and had all the basic amenities we needed. Everything worked well and the furnishings were comfortable. We loved the gates on the decks to keep our kids and dog safe and contained. We took a fishing trip with Shark at the moon fishing charter and our son landed a big black tip shark! Such a wonderful vacation. We also loved the beach wheelchair we used from Sandlot Beach Rentals.

Beautiful view

Our stay was short, but amazing. The house was very nice, close to the beach, and just all around beautiful. We enjoyed hanging out on the front porch and watching the waves.

Everything is provided short of a short trip to the grocery store. Very close to the beach and not in a busy area, so there’s tons of room for your family to play and relax. I would definitely stay again.

Perfect Weekend Spot

House was very clean. Great spot to stay for our family; plenty of space in the bedrooms. The view from the top deck was great. Loved all of the deck seating! Easy golf cart ride back and forth from the beach to the house for the little ones! Outdoor shower was great to rinse off after the beach. Outdoor sink was a nice touch when grilling downstairs. Would definitely stay again!

Charming beach house

The beds where comfortable and the house was very clean! I loved walking downstairs to the beach in the morning. Would definitely recommend for a quiet family getaway.

Not only was Abby Sand Castle everything we read about, clean, bright, comfortable, strong wi=fi but the view was amazing. We will always make this location our first choice.

They had everything you needed, pans, blankets, washer, dryer, everything. The only bad thing I can say is that the bEd's are really uncomfortable, we woke up so early because we had body cramps from sleeping uncomfortable. Other than that, the house is great!!

Thank you for your review. We had not had any feedback regarding the beds before but are updating the bedding/beds. We try very hard to maintain our home so it is enjoyable for all of our guests! We appreciate the information.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: House was very clean. Mosquitoes got better on second day. Would recommend leaving more than 1/2 roll of toilet paper for 2 bathrooms. Know this is a drive on beach. Only had one incident of reckless driving but sheriff department took care of it.

Very nice home but didn't like the "double-dip" on fees

Home was lovely, Cobb Realty was fine -- BUT thought I was renting from VRBO and the fees were included in the total price -which I am accustomed to. However; then I get an email saying I really rented from Cobb which required a ton of paperwork and additional fees.

Great House, Bare Necessities

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Checkin was easy. House was clean but had a slight smell of mildew upon arrival. Opened the windows for a bit and it was all gone in no time. We noticed some items in the house seemed to be "glued back together" as a temporary fix - not sure if this was from management or previous renters.IMPORTANT: Basic necessities are NOT included such as toilet paper, hand soap, etc... This is not mentioned anywhere on VRBO but I was told it is mentioned somewhere on management's business website...

Good Visit During the Pandemic

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: First all the house is in a great location, close to the beach, walking distance. The house was stocked with everything we needed and enough space. It was nice and the porch outside was great for eating and enjoying the ocean. The part that we probably didn't like much and wish was mentioned prior to coming was you do not have access to 2nd floor of the house. It was never mentioned when we picked up the keys either and got all of the instructions. I think it's fine to not have access but at least communicate this. Then when we got there we had to place the sheets on the bed ourselves, kind of frustrating when you pay cleaning fees and arrive to the house and have to make your own bed before you even sleep in it. Another thing there was barely any soap left in the dispenser but they sure make sure to put the name of the house on it so you don't take it but don't take the time to refill it before the next guest arrive and the same goes for the toilet paper. Maybe they don't stock the toilet paper because when we arrived there was maybe 1/4 a roll left in both bathrooms when I felt there should have been full rolls left for our 6 day stay. We ran out by the next day and had to go buy some. If they don't stock it then again that should be communicated prior to arriving. Other than that we were able to cook and sleep well and enjoy the beach.
