Thank you so much for taking the time to share your experience! We are thrilled you enjoyed the resort-style pools and stunning ocean views. We specifically chose this property for its unmatched proximity to the beach and stunning architecture, as well as, its superb privacy and safety. So sorry to hear about the condition of the beach during your stay, however. We actually drove down from San Juan after receiving your review and while there was some dry sand, it was predominantly what might be called a "wet beach" or high tide type situation. Thankfully, less than a football field away (right past the Beach Club) we did find two miles of wide, white sand perfect for walking. Hopefully you were able to explore this nearby stretch of beach, and judging by the beautiful shell and coral collection left behind, I trust that you actually did! I also wanted to briefly address your notes about the signs and the beach drop-off. Following some unfortunate incidents along the Florida and Puerto Rico coasts, safety signs were put up to advise visitors that there is no lifeguard on duty and what to do in the event of a riptide. We also had some shoreline erosion following Hurricane Maria, but our landscape architects have since built several secure staircases to safely bridge the short steps down to the water.
