Saybrook Point Cottage - Charming and Private

Charming, one bedroom cottage is located on historic Saybrook Point where the Connecticut River meets Long Island Sound. This fully furnished, very comfortable house with rustic yet refined decor features one bedroom, one bath, living room, and a fully-equipped eat-in kitchen. It also has SmartTV, Wifi, and air conditioning. We provide linens and towels for you!

At the Saybrook Point Cottage, we are the business of hospitality. In addition to our strict housekeeping protocols, we also offer Contactless Check In/Check Out. Rest assured that we are doing everything, and then some, to ensure the health and safety of all our guests and to make your stay as comfortable and enjoyable as possible!

Situated on a quiet street that ends at Saybrook's South Cove, there are sliding glass doors that open onto a beautifully landscaped, private park-like lawn. There is no swimming in South Cove, so it's just a five minute drive to the sandy Town Beach. The bright and airy guest house is ideal for singles or couples looking for relaxation and adventures.

PET FRIENDLY- Bring your pets!! Please note the property is not fenced in.

Sometimes you need a quick change of scenery to break the cycle!

Located less than a two hour drive from mid-town Manhattan and Boston, there is also an Amtrak stop in town.

The area is perfect for long walks, bicycling, scenic drives, canoeing, kayaking, antiquing, and more.

Cute and tidy

We were traveling to see family and wanted to bring our dog. This is a very dog friendly safe property. The neighborhood is quiet and very close to the water with a nice beach to run dogs on when the tide is out called Harvey Beach nearby. The owner even has a drawer full of things you might need for your dog, including flashlights for walking at night. There was enough room for us to run our border collie to tire her out chasing a toy. The cottage itself is very small but adequate for two people and that is very clean. It’s got some nice decorating inside in the kitchen. Has all you need.

We stayed for a wedding near by at the Inn down the street. Quiet, close to the water and clean. Check in was very organized and we had no issues.

Perfect location!

The cottage was so cute and very clean. The host kept us up to date every step of the process making check in so easy. The cottage had everything you need for a wonderful stay. The grounds were well maintained and the little deck was a very nice place to relax. Would definitely stay again if in the area.

Absolutely no complaints, though one caution: the bed is a double and tight if anyone in a couple is iver 5’10”. Could use a queen.

Great little place in Old Saybrook

Little cottage at the rear of a house with a very large lot. Great location near town and for walking along causeway. Extremely quiet neighborhood. The cottage is a small older structure but has everything you need including full kitchen. Nicely decorated. There is lovely private outside patio with table and grill. It was very clean and towels and linens provided. Worked perfect for us.

Petite cottage

Cozy little cottage. Just right for medium petite couple (5’1 and 5’8). Very well supplied, a bit cluttered for my taste but homey and functional. We would definitely consider returning for a quiet cozy get-away. Real cute stay.

Vacation get-away

We had a few days mid-week to get away from work etc and this location met our needs perfectly. Clean, comfortable, great restaurants and walks nearby and our dog was very happy to have lots of space. Thanks for a great stay!

Cozy Cottage

Comfortable, cozy cottage in a nice neighborhood close to the water. I enjoyed relaxing on the deck, walking in the neighborhood and watching the ospreys fish. Close to restaurants and shops on Main St. A great place to relax.

Short but sweet stay

We were supposed to stay 3 nights but due to a pet's illness were only able to stay 1 night. Al was gracious enough to allow us a late checkout on our last day. The cottage is cute and cozy and had everything we needed. Location is wonderful. Might consider staying again.

Perfect Relaxation Cottage

The cottage was cozy and had all the comforts of home. The bed was comfortable and the kitchen was perfect for cooking meals. The grill on the deck was nice for a couple nice steaks and the outdoor seating was great. Al was an excellent host. He made sure we had everything we needed for our stay and even provided us recommendations of local establishments.
