A wonderful cottage, very clean and well equipped.Having a deck and a private backyard was a plus.Karen & Dave were very quick to respond to any questions I had.Would certainly rent again.

The tininess of this cozy home should not deter you. (Unless you travel with a tribe)The abundance of warmth within the walls of this home ensures a memorable stay with your companions. The cottage was a wonderful little getaway for a Mother/Daughter getaway traveling from Western NY. It was the perfect size for 2 people, we were attending a Gilmore Girls Fan Fest in Guilford, CT about 20 miles away and it was a relaxing place to return to each day. The beds are a little hard to sleep on, I would suggest possibly bringing your own type of topper if you are staying for a long weekend. Otherwise, there are no complaints!!! Very relaxing, mostly everything you need is right there! The backyard is beautiful and the neighborhood is very friendly. Short walk to the beach is great!!!

The property was amazing! The beds are super comfortable. It has everything you need plus more. The property is located in a super cute neighborhood that is super quiet. The location is convenient to everything. I would highly recommend.

This cottage was exceptionally clean and neat. The hosts are very accommodating. Quiet neighborhood, too. Backyard has a firepit and an outdoor shower! I'd recommend this cute little cottage for a nice relaxing stay.

Beautiful cottage! Hosts were flexible with us during checkout. I know during season that’s probably impossible but we were lucky to get a beach day in on the last day. Thank you!

This little cottage was perfect for me and my husband's anniversary trip - well stocked and a great outdoor space, comfortable beds and awesome location! There is a small beach in walking distance and the cottage is close to both downtown Old Saybrook and Westbrook. Would definitely stay again!

This cottage was a lovely place to stay as we visited family in the area. Owners were extremely accommodating and available for questions. Check-in and check-out were very smooth. Cottage was in excellent condition and very clean. Location was easy walking to beaches.

Such an immaculate cottage and so welcoming! It is decorated so beautifully and the owners have thought of everything. Bike riding is the best especially along the water by The Point! I can’t wait to return this year! Susan C.

Our host was extremely responsive with questions ahead of time which made our stay that much better. The house was immaculate well located and perfect for us. Highly recommend! We will be back.

The cottage is lovely, perfectly situated on a quiet road with close proximity to the beach. Perfectly decorated and very welcoming. Our hosts were very accommodating and responded almost immediately to our inquiries. we hope to stay here again the next time we come to Connecticut.

Adorable cottage, perfect for myself and a friend to spend a beach weekend in Old Saybrook. Lots of lovely features - we loved the fire pit for s’mores at night and outdoor shower for easy clean-up after the beach. Karen and David were very responsive and easy to coordinate with prior to our stay. Highly recommend!

Great beach weekend!

We stayed for a long weekend and had a great time! Private beaches down the road where small, but my son liked going there for sunrise/sunset. We went to public Harvey beach for full-beach days. Harvey beach was family-friendly, quiet, and he loved exploring the sea life. Nice places to eat nearby- everything easy to get to. We will definitely consider coming back next year!

This updated cottage was ideal for me and my sister to celebrate our birthdays by the beach. Exactly as described and more! Loved the beach decor, large outdoor yard with fire pit and shower. Beds and especially pillows were super comfortable. Small beaches within walking distance were amazing. Owners were responsive and easy to communicate with. Close to both Old Saybrook and Westbrook. Highly recommended!

A Perfect Beach Getaway!

We had an incredible stay at this charming beach cottage! From the moment we arrived, we felt right at home. The cottage was spotless, beautifully decorated, and had everything we needed for a comfortable and relaxing stay. The kitchen was fully stocked, the beds were cozy, and they had toys available for our young daughter.The location was ideal—just a short walk to the beach and easy access to nearby shops and restaurants. The host was responsive, friendly, and made check-in and check-out seamless. Highly recommend this gem for anyone looking to unwind by the beach!

We had a wonderful stay at the Little Cottage of Gratitude!! The neighborhood is very quiet, friendly, and walkable to two nice small beaches. The cottage is well stocked with anything you can possibly need, relaxing, and decorated beautifully. Dave and Karen were quick to respond to my messages and even allowed us to add an extra day to our stay and offered an early check in. We stayed 3 days this time but next time we would love to stay longer. Thanks again, Dave and Karen for sharing your awesome cottage with us!!
