Casual and perfect

For us being walking distance to the beach was key so that my 13 year old daughter could safely go back and forth without supervision. The house is a simple, all-you-really-need beach house. For us it couldn't have been more perfect. Stacey and Mike are fantastic hosts.

Amazing week

The house was perfect for a family of five. Second time visiting your property and enjoyed every minute. Walk to beach, cooked dinners and enjoyed reading outside when not at beach. Loved our time and will return!

Great Location!

I stayed in this home with four other friends. We had a great time and loved the location. It was only a five minute walk to the beach and great surf shop/cafe. The house was cozy and super clean. I would definitely stay there again. The hosts were responsive and getting into the home was simple. I wish I could have stayed longer!

Great beach house!

This was such a cozy place to stay! It had everything we needed with plenty of room for a family of 5. The owners were easy to work with and they even let us extend for the holiday weekend. The house was clean, the beds were comfy and they had all the beach toys, chairs etc. The proximity to the beach was perfect and the location with the store right there made it super convenient. We'd certainly stay again!

Everything you need

We stayed for a family vacation and birthday and everything about the house made it a perfect week for us: the location, the beach toys and buggies, even the air conditioners. We felt so lucky to find such an amazing spot.

Fantastic Stay

Our family has been renting in Rye for years and tried Mike and Sherri’s place for the first time last year. Loved it so much we came back again this year! Clean, great beach proximity, all we could need in a house right on site.

Perfect Beach Vacation

Mike and Sherri are wonderful hosts, having created a vacation home that easily feels like a “home away from home” for their guests. They’ve thought of everything to make a beach vacation there truly relaxing and inviting. The location is just minutes from the beach so we could easily walk back for lunch and snacks, no need to bring coolers of food to the beach. The outdoor shower was a big hit, coffee on the deck was a daily ritual and quiet bike rides/walks ended every day. They were prompt and responsive to any question we had. We inadvertently left a few things behind and within a matter of a couple of hours of our departure Sherri contacted us with the offer to mail them to us. So kind and thoughtful with not a hint of being inconvenienced by us. We will definitely recommend them to others or maybe we should just keep them our little secret.

Great Vacation!

We had a great vacation at Jenness! Super location. Property clean, comfortable and inviting. Check-in and out couldn’t have been simpler. Owner’s were available and responsive to questions. We’ll be back!

Great beach house!!!

The house has everything you need for a great family vacation- a grill, picnic table, sand toys, etc. The house was beautiful inside and out. Very quick walk to the beach. The owners were very nice and easy to communicate with. Our family would absolutely stay here again!

Jenness Beach Getaway

We had a wonderful stay just steps from the beach. The house was clean and comfortable. Plenty of yard space for having dinner outside. The owners were easy to reach via email with any questions we had. We'd go back in a second!

Labor Day weekend

This house was a perfect rental. Close to the beach and equipped with what we needed. The beds were comfortable and the house was very clean. Would rent again.

The location was just a short walk to the beach, which was great with two young children.

We are a family of 4, so it was nice to have the master bedroom on the main floor and the children could sleep upstairs. The outdoor shower was nice and warm perfect for rinsing off after a day at the beach! Ordione Point State Park was a nice place to hike and ride bikes- less than a 15 minute drive away. We would definitely rent again!

Perfect!

The house fit our needs perfectly. We have 3 children who had the entire upstairs to themselves and my husband and I had our bedroom and full bath on the first floor all to ourselves. The yard was an extra bonus for playing games and we had drinks on the deck every night. The beach is right around the corner and it is stunning! Completely relaxing and the house was clean and had everything we need to truly vacation. Thanks Mike and Sherri, your home is beautiful and we hope to return next Summer!

Miss it already

First timers to Rye Beach and loved every minute. The house is on a quiet street but only a short walk to the beach. Went to bed at night hearing the waves in the distance and then took long bike rides by all of the million dollar homes in the mornings. The house is special, beautifully decorated and had everything we needed.

A Great Retreat

The house was great. You can't beat the location. The beach, restaurants, surf shop and ice cream are all right around the corner from the house. We surfed every day after taking lessons at Summer Sessions. The yard and decks were nice for playing, reading and grilling. I dont want to say too many good things because we want to recommend this home to our friends and family for next year :) It will definitely be a yearly tradition, best rental in the area.

Beautiful Beach House!

Incredible time at The Rye Tyde! Location is great. It is right around the corner from a large sandy beach and surfing at Jenness Beach. The cottage is much larger than the pictures show and it felt brand new. LOVED the 3 decks for barbecuing and reading and the kids played soccer in the large yard. Bikes are a great idea too, this is located on a nice quiet street and the kids could ride with no worries. The outdoor shower is fantastic...hot and cold water! Highly recommend the restaurant next to Summer Sessions...the cheeseburger and seafood were awesome! Overall, this far exceeded our expectations...beautiful, perfect cottage in the best location. Will return! Thanks!

We bought the house in July of 2014 and updated it to bring a beach cottage ambiance with blues and whites, while maintaining its uniqueness as a chalet style home. We live only 30 minutes away and hope to one day retire at the cottage.

Rye Beach is one of the most beautiful beaches we have been to in the Northeast. Restaurants, ice cream, coffee, surf shop and the general store are all only one block from the cottage.

This beach cottage is a unique Chalet style home with little nooks and tons of character with a spacious yard for games. The location is in a quiet neighborhood but near everything that the seacoast area has to offer. It has plenty of room to spend time together or simply choose one of the 3 decks to get in a good read.
