Cozy and Charming Beach Getaway on Lovely Lake Michigan

Our Duneland Rentals cottages are located right on the beach in the Indiana Dunes. This delightfully spacious Studio is nestled in the Indiana Dunes and just steps away from magnificent Lake Michigan. The only thing between you and the lake is a lovely sandy beach. There is sleeping for 3. Ample seating in the living area includes a loveseat and a comfortable daybed. The dining room table can be expanded to meet you dining needs or the leaves can be easily hidden away for a more intimate dining experience. The kitchen is spacious and fully equipped with a full size refrigerator, stove/oven, microwave, toaster oven and 12 cup coffee maker. There are bar stools at the kitchen counter for casual dining or socializing with the chef. All linens (bath towels, hand towels, wash clothes and dish towels) are provided. This is the lower level of a 2 story guest house with a private entrance and no shared spaces. We have 350' of private beach for the exclusive use of our guests. Should you want to venture beyond the beach numerous nearby attractions include hiking, biking, dining, shopping, museums, art galleries, an arboretum, golfing, waterpark, farmers markets, live theatre, movie theatres,skating, bowling and much more.

My husband and I stayed here 4 nights. The studio was perfect for us. We had everything we needed. The view was outstanding! One thing that wasn't clear before we arrived is the number of stairs to the home. We were fine, and our host was so kind to help us carry our luggage down. Just be aware if you have mobility issues. I can't say enough about how wonderful our experience was. I highly recommend it!

My husband and I loved how peaceful and cozy our stay was. Our favorite part was watching the sunrise and sunset on the beach. You are steps away from the beach which is a nice especially after dinner because you can walk the shoreline. It’s super close to Indiana Dunes which was great for us since we enjoy hikes. We enjoyed the scenic views of the beach from indoors too thanks to the large windows facing the beach. Would come back again.

Great location

We enjoyed being right on the beach with beautiful views and the sound of the waves lulling us to sleep each night. Hosts couldn't have been more accommodating to our needs.

Lovely Beach Home

We loved staying right on the beach beside the Indiana Dunes! This is a perfect getaway for two. Very clean and everything you would need is provided.

Beautiful location!

Excellent location, between both Indiana Dunes parks, & being directly on the beach. Clean & quiet, except for the sound of the lake waves:) Only drawback is the many steps from the parking to the front door, but that's how you get so close to Lake Michigan, so it's worth it!

Perfect beach Bungalow

Great property, equipped with all you need. Very clean and cozy. The location, right on beach is almost magical. Our host was warm and gracious. Would definitely recommend to a couple needing a quiet get away.

Quiet get away

Susan was an attentive host and the little one bedroom right on the beach was perfect. Warm and inviting, good water pressure and the sound of the waves and seeing so many stars was just fabulous.

On Lake Michigan

Cozy clean cabin right on the beach; Can hear the waves crashing all night long; So relaxing. We could hear people staying above us walking around but it wasn’t a deal breaker. Would stay here again.

Great Stay

We had a great time staying here for the weekend! Being right on the lake was really nice, even though we visited in the middle of winter. It was close to the Indiana Dunes National Park and State Park, which is where we spent most of our time. Grocery stores were only about ten minutes away. We would come back again!

Marvelous views of the lake from every angle! This lovely little cottage on the beach reminded me of happy days as a little one spending time with my family at our lake cottage. Heavenly.

Life at the Beach

The rental was very clean and quiet. The beach is private allowing me to enjoy quiet walks. The host was very responsive and helpful. I would highly recommend this property for a single person or couple.

Beautiful Property

My wife and I rented this property for a weekend getaway for our anniversary. We were so happy with the choice. The property was perfectly located on the beach. It was clean, cozy and quiet. Our host, Susan, was awesome. She was very responsive and caring. We will definitely rent this property again in the future.

The view was absolutely stunning. The stairs are no joke. Be prepared for those. We had no ac unit but that wasn’t a huge deal since it was fairly nice weather in May. But if it was any warmer that would have been an issue. We just opened the windows at night and it stayed cool. There were a few hiccups but Sandy was quick to address them. It was all and all a nice stay. It was a bit pricey but falling asleep and waking up to the sound of the waves made up for it.

Awesome

This was our 2nd time staying here. There is nothing more to say than this is an awesome place to spend time with the one you love. Sitting out fron watching and listening to the waves as they come up to the beach is the most relaxing, also listing to the waves when going to sleep is very relaxing. We will defiantly be back again.
