Please support the Maui economy and the people here by continuing to visit this beautiful island. We are in Kahana, seven miles north of the town of Lahaina. Our property was not affected in any way by the Aug. 8, 2023, wildfires in Lahaina town. Mahalo.

Kahana Reef is the hidden gem of Maui. A place where you can enjoy the best views, central location and a quiet, peaceful and relaxing experience at a price you can afford. This unit has just been remodeled and is located in the prized middle building, with nothing but ocean and the islands of Molokai and Lanai out front -- except for the whales and turtles you'll see from your lanai.

The condo features a king-size bed in the bedroom with memory foam; queen sleeper in the LR; stainless appliances, a refrigerator with icemaker, new cabinets and granite countertops in the kitchen; all new fixtures in the bathroom; new slate for the lanai; new lighting fixtures; free wi-fi; flat-screen TVs in the LR and BR; and easy access to the communal pool and adjacent beaches.

You're 10 minutes from dining, shopping, golf and world-class beaches in Kaanapali; 5 minutes from one of the world's best beaches, Napili Bay; 15 minutes from the unique town and historic whaling village of Lahaina. Fishing, whale watching, surfing, stand-up paddling, kayaking and snorkeling are all close by.

There are five world class golf courses within a couple of miles, including the Plantation Course at Kapalua, the home of the Hyundai Championship. The Kapalua Tennis Gardens also are nearby and available for play.

We have gas outdoor grills for guests; free parking; a laundromat steps away; and convenient shopping and restaurants within walking distance.

We supply the towels, dishes, utensils and the view. All you need to bring is your swimsuits, sunscreen, flip flops and sense of adventure. Then sit back, take in the view, soak up the aloha and enjoy the sunsets. It just doesn't get any better.

The condo was comfortable and served our needs well. Great view of Molokai from the lanai and it was fun watching the sea turtles come up to the seawall and try to feed on the rocks. Parking was easy and if you prefer walks, there are several good options for restaurants. We liked to drive up and down looking for good snorkeling and Kahana is situated in a great location. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend this condo for a couple but can not speak to the pull out bed in the living area.

The patio view of the ocean was superb. Very well-kept property and clean unit, with thoughtful additions like deck chairs, snorkel gear, beach mats and umbrella. The bbq was well-maintained and we cooked three evenings during the week. This place was a great find!

Beautiful location

We have stayed in a number of Kahana Reef apartments and this was among the best. Its beautiful ground floor location with lawn access, well set up with everything we needed. We hope to visit again.

Peaceful stay at amazing location!

While the property was a bit dated, it absolutely delivered on location. Stunning views of the ocean, and a private little beach next door - we couldn't have asked for a more perfect spot to relax! Best of all - the building itself is pretty quiet. Just the sound of the ocean and birds - perfect for a peaceful getaway.

Oceanfront Condo in Kahana Reef

We loved this well- decorated condo with wall to wall ocean view from the living room. It is well located to see the sights from Kaanapali to Kapalua.

The hosts very clear in communication and listing. The property was better than described IMO. Ground floor unit, fully stocked with everything but your own clothes. Great Views from the lanai, enjoyed watching the whales near Molokai and the local sea turtle. Even saw a monk seal on our first day. Very walkable property with dining and shopping nearby. Loved the private beach and the pool was well maintained. Two grills for your dining pleasure. Everyone we met on property was very friendly. Would absolutely stay here again.

Wonderful property!

Incredible place on ground level, right by the water. We could wake up, walk to get coffee, and then walk right into the water and swim with sea turtles. We had a fantastic stay, and would absolutely come again.

Watched whales while enjoying meals on the lanai

The place was as great as the pictures. But I was astonished at how many whales we were able to see just while looking out from the lanai.

We loved our stay here. We could see whales from the lanai and saw turtles right by the seawall in front of the condo. The bed was very comfortable and it was nice having a code to get in the door, rather than needing a key. I’m always afraid on the first floor that I’ll hear footsteps above but we never did. The place is obviously built well. We wish we could stay here for a month, rather than just a week.

Absolutely wonderful

Everything about our stay was perfect. The location cannot be beat and the property itself is wonderful. We saw sea turtles every afternoon and enjoyed the near private beach adjacent to the building. The condo is clean, well maintained and stocked, the check in/out procedure easy, and the owners are a pleasure to deal with. Thanks again for a wonderful stay and we hope to be back very soon!

Great view

We visited in February and loved it. Ground floor unit makes easy access to beach/pool. Watched the whales during the day and walked out to watch the turtles come in at dusk. Would absolutely stay again, perfect location and the hosts were great to deal with. Highly recommend

Beauty and Relaxation

We loved staying in this amazing rental. Rainbows and full moons in the morning. Turtles and soft breezes all day long. So quiet and relaxing. We have nothing but good memories. We were sad to leave and can't wait to come back.

Loved the Condo and the location!

We loved the beautiful location and Condo! It had Everything we needed and then some. We were gone exploring most days, but when we were there the residents and other guests were very friendly. Sea Turtles were on the sea wall in front of the condo and a very nice beach right next to it. We had a wonderful vacation. Thank you Don and Yolanda!

Amazing Oceanfront View

We spent a wonderful week at this property. The view was amazing. We saw sea turtles and whales everyday from the condo. Excellent location, quiet but still walking distance to a coffee shop and other amenities. The pool was a great temperature, nice and warm. Condo had many extras like beach chairs and umbrella which we used on our beach excursions. Overall a fantastic spot!

We've been staying at Kahana Reef since 1998. Our kids pretty much spent their summers here. Relatives own another unit here. We waited for a unit in the middle building, ground floor to become available and when it did, we didn't hesitate. Then we spent months remodeling and refurnishing.
