Inside got a gorgeous makeover in 2016 to reflect our personality after purchasing the home, New pics uploaded to show the refresh and our love for beach living.

5 bedroom, 4.5 bath home with a community pool, pier and gazebo. Just steps from beach. Newly built house with all the amenities! Go to the beach by day and fish in the lagoon all night!
Covered parking under the house. Picnic table, grill, microwave and stove. Washer/dryer. Wifi and cable TV.
Just a wonderful family friendly area! Short drive to water park, restaurants and activities!
Quiet and relaxing location.

Great place’

Compass Rose was an excellent play to stay near the beach. The house was spacious and met all of our needs. This place is very roomy! Loved it and will come again if I had the opportunity!

Family fun

Our stay was wonderful And the house was great. It was equipped with everything we needed even a pack and play. We had a 3 1/2 week old baby with us. It was one the best vacation that our family has had nine adults and three children and one infant. we will most definitely stay there again. It was close to everything. We had a pool and a fishing Pier on the lagoon side and the beach was in front of us. It was just a wonderful stay We had everything we needed. Thanks to Matt and Amy.

Great location

Loved the location with easy access to beach, pool and lagoon. House was nicely furnished with kitchenware which allowed for us to cook at the house. Very comfortable accommodations. Would definitely stay there again

Hidden Gem

Our first family Trip with my husbands side of the family was definitely one to remember. Location was awesome, even though the sign was a little hard to see on the turn initially, but we got the landmarks after the fiest day. Owners were very easy to contact and prompt with replies, they supplied ample beach chairs/toys and towels. Some little things around the home need some handiwork but nothing major. Not as many replacement essentials that we have been accostomed to but plenty of stores to shop and replace. We would definitely come back. fieat

Great multiple family vacation

The Compass Rose was absolutely perfect for our family/friends vacation. It was spacious enough with 5 teens and 6 adults. Just a short walk to the beach. And the fishing dock was perfect for the guys at night fishing in the lagoon and putting a fishing kayak also. Would definitely stay here again. Homeowner very quick to respond and friendly. Book your vacation now!

Birthday Trip to Gulf Shore

We had a great time at the Compass Rose. The house was a good size for our group and location was perfect. Entire family enjoyed the beach and the pool. There were many beach toys and nice new beach chairs. Everything worked except tv remotes but put in new batteries and all was good. Was our first house rental and will not be our last. Great to have all the family together in one place. Will definitely rent again in the future.

Family Reunion

We were very impressed with the cleanliness and how well the house was stocked and supplied for everyone's needs. We loved the beach chairs and the availability of toys for the kids. We had a wonderful time!

We had friends with their kids from Texas all stay together at this house. 11 total and there was still plenty of room. Great location and views of beach and lagoon. Owners are great very helpful and went out of their way. Our families made memories that will last forever. Definitely recommend and would come back.

Returning Guest

Our group, ranging from 8 months to 63 years old, stayed at the Compass Rose for a return visit. The location and layout of the house are hard to beat in Gulf Shores. The value and proximity to the beach and lagoon are perfect. Just far enough away from town that it feels a little less busy. The owners are responsive and accommodating. Our group’s only complaint is that the house could use some cosmetic updating such as furniture and fixtures. Everything seemed the same since we last stayed in 2018 and is showing quite a bit of wear. All very minor things, but we still give the rental 5 stars!

Family Vacation

Took our kids and grandkids 14 people in all. The house was just as described. Great location across the street from the beach and a shared swiming pool. Everyone enjoyed both. Went fishing off the pier very peaceful. Would recommend this property to everyone. Would stay here again. Thank you for shareing your beach house with us.

Amazing Stay

Loved the entire week! We had 12 people from ages 4 to 75! Plenty of room to spread out, lots of bathrooms, comfortable beds, well stocked kitchen, beautiful pool and dock, easy beach access. Amy was a dream. We had other family members who rented house 3. A trip of a lifetime!

Perfect property for our gathering

Our very large family was served perfectly by the Compass Rose. Casual comfort, convenient location to the beach, and bedrooms for everybody. We have nothing but compliments about our stay. Feel very confident about booking the Compass Rose.

Lovely Gulf Shores adventure!

We enjoyed the property with all of its wonderful amenities and location! Having a pool and beach access were a plus!! The owner , Amy , was very responsive and available to answer questions. We all enjoyed our stay at Compass Rose !

Perfect home for large group

We spent Thanksgiving at this property and absolutely loved it. There is so much room and was perfect for our large group!! I will definitely stay here again!!!!

Amazing House & Communication by Management

This rental property was the best choice we have ever made using this app! We had our family of 9, 6 adults plus 3 grandkids ages 8-13. The house has everything you need as a rental should have inside plus an extra bonus of offering beach wagon, beach toys, a few chairs and beach towels. Large TV’s in every room but we only turned on the living room TV for kids a few times while we adults played dominoes and cards on the perfect dining room table with 8 chairs plus 4 barstools, living room can seat 7 easily. Nice picnic table with charcoal grill in front of parking area under house. All appliances worked perfectly and washer & dryer did too. We did not have to reach out to contact Amy for anything during our stay but to let her know how much we really enjoyed making memories with our family at this beautiful Safe home. We would rent this house each time for this vacation destination. Thank you

Great Beach House

I would definitely recommend! We loved the house and close proximity to the beach., a very easy walk. The community pool was nicely maintained. We had several questions before and during our stay and the property manager was very quick to respond! The only negative I have to mention is there is no daybed/sleep futon in the King Master Bedroom as indicated on the property description which left us short a bed in an actual bedroom. However, there was a sleeper sofa in the living room.

We are only steps from the beach here at Sunwatch Cottages which is perfect when you have kids and stuff to tote along! The pool is wonderful and the pier into the lagoon makes for wonderful crabbing and fishing.

We have ample bed space, with bunk beds in the kids room and queen size beds in most of the guest rooms. Full size refrigerator, microwave, and dish washer along with a washer/ dryer. Picnic table and grill under the house.
