Berry Patch - Modern Townhome in Small Resort Community with Pool

Berry Patch is located at 44 South Sundrops Trail, Cullowhee, NC 28723 and is designed with a great room combining the kitchen, dining and living rooms to create an open space featuring a beautiful, stacked stone fireplace for everyone to gather around. Enjoy mountain living at its best on the outdoor patio, which features another wood-burning fireplace for entertaining, alongside a partially fenced green space for privacy and relaxation. Berry Patch is located in a privately gated community known as Sundrops on Caney Fork. The nano-resort offers a clubhouse, pool, fitness center, pedestrian friendly walking trails, and pocket parks for reading or resting. You can also try your luck trout fishing on the banks of the Caney Fork River which runs along over 2,200 feet of the community. The Sundrops clubhouse offers an indoor lounge, fitness center, covered pavilion with large outdoor fireplace, rocking chairs. It even houses an outdoor kitchen complete with grills and smokers for cooking up your favorite meals. Be sure to relax in the chaise lounges alongside the resort style perimeter edge pool and spa or pack a picnic and enjoy tables and seating!

Great stay!

Great time visiting our daughter at Western Carolina University. Berry Patch was the perfect spot - had most everything we needed. Rental was spotless and plenty of room as my sister and her husband joined us from Mt. Pleasant for the long weekend. Sterling at Sundog Vacation Rentals was great to work with - will defintely rent from them again.

Immaculate Rental Property

By far, the cleanest property we have booked to date. Well equipped with spectaculor views. Great option for anyone visiting WCUniversity. Bonus outdoor fireplace and lovely barbecue area. Thank you for a great stay !

The property was clean and adequate. The issue was absolutely no cellular service and the power went out for 6 hours. Which meant no cell or internet period. You can’t contact the rental agency or power company or contact anyone with no power

Great property

This property was perfect for us and we didn’t want to leave. It was very very clean and had everything we needed. I would stay here again next time we are in the area.

Perfect place!

It was such a fun place to stay! It was a quiet and relaxing place. It was amazing that it was dog friendly with a fenced backyard. We will definitely come back!

Refreshing and relaxing

The townhome is located in a secluded but convenient location. With the property being a gated community, this provided a peaceful stay. We took a nice walk along the pathway and enjoyed the serenity of the Caney Fork Creek. We enjoyed the indoor fireplace as it was too cold to enjoy the outdoor fireplace. The heated bathroom floors was an extra special treat!

Thanksgiving vacation stay

We enjoyed our stay at this home. The kitchen had all the equipment needed for our pie and casserole baking to bring to our gathering in Sylva. Great location and we were grateful for the fenced yard for our small dog.

Hotel in a Home Setting

We loved our stay at Berry Patch. I can't say enough good about the owners, the management, the accommodations...just all good. Lovely setting, beautiful and well-kept interior. We are homebuilders and remodelers. If we owned a vacation rental I would want it to be of the same grade as this unit was for us. Thank you for such a pleasant stay.

Lovely mountain home!

We have family in Cullowhee and came out for a wedding. Not only was the house itself beautiful but we had access to the pool, hot tub, gym and walking paths. The subdivision where the rental is located was so nice. We had a feeling of being away from it all yet it was an easy drive to WCU, Sylva and everywhere you might want to go.

WCU Graduation

Booked the cabin for my nephew’s graduation from Western Carolina. Perfect location! Cabin was clean, spacious and had all we needed. Would definitely rent again.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Berry Patch !! We have stayed here before and also have stayed in the Belcher House. Both places are just perfect. So well furnished and equipped with anything you might need. Definitely our favorite place to stay in Cullowhee. We love renting from SunDog Rentals. The process is very simple and easy. They keep you well informed and updated through your whole stay. Very pleased all the way around!!

Berry Patch

Great stay. Very comfortable, clean, and well equipped. The only thing that can be improved would be how the fireplace works. Despite our best efforts use of the inside fireplace resulted in a smokey indoors. Everything else was perfect!

50th Anniversary Celebration

We enjoyed our stay very much. The place was very nice and we would definitely return. The outdoor fireplace was a nice feature. We enjoyed Ferrara Pizza one night and it was very good. The staff was very nice even though we arrived about 45 minutes before closing. We have stayed at these properties in the past and have found them to be very clean and and a return trip did not disappoint.
