Modern Home with Stunning Water View

This delightful home located in Eastsound on Orcas Island is modern, clean, and full of light. It features main floor living with the primary bedroom (king-size bed) and bath on the same floor as the living, dining, and kitchen. On the lower floor you'll find a TV room, second bedroom with two twin beds a comfy window seat, and full bath. The separation from the main floor to the lower level is very accommodating for people who want a little privacy from other guests or just some quiet time to themselves.

Nightly rates are based on two people. It's $20/night for each additional guest over two.

Pet fee is $75

We loved the Lookout. It was the most well set up Vrbo that we’ve been in. The host has everything you need and it’s all clearly labeled. Everything is also of high quality - comfortable beds, towels, beautiful rooms and nice kitchen essentials. The view was even better. We hope to be back!

What an awesome place! Well equipped, clean and comfy. Great communication with the host; she even let me know that the place was available early, if we wanted to check in early! Great back balcony with awesome views. We had some gorgeous sunsets and moonrises while we were there. We also loved the Pacific Madrones (which, of course, we don't have in NC) right out back. Would absolutely stay here again and I will recommend to my daughter and son-in-law who reside in Seattle.

This place is in a great location. You can easily walk to all the restaurants and shops in Eastsound but it is up on a hill so it is quiet and has an amazing view. It was clean and very well stocked. Communication with the host was excellent. When it was ready a little early she let us know so we could check in early. She provided helpful information about the area too. Highly recommend.

Wonderful play to stay on Orcas Island. Clean space, great kitchen, and beautiful views. The host was incredibly communicative throughout and a pleasure to correspond with. We will definitely be returning!

This house is an amazing place to stay. It has everything you need, beautifully designed, and so comfortable. It is also incredibly close to downtown, making the location very convenient. Plus the view is absolutely breathtaking. If you are looking for a magical place where you can relax and feel invigorated, this is the place to stay. Tina is an amazing host! She is always quick to reply, and she provides so much helpful information.

Terrific view. Quiet. Lots of room. Location close to East Sound but distant enough to escape crowds and ferry surges. Sorry, the driveway needs work. Steep ascent/descent with loose gravel and a pothole. Otherwise, a dream.

We had a great stay in this very comfortable home. It’s got a great view and a short walking distance to Eastsound, which has a nice collection of bakeries stores and restaurants. Very enjoyable visit. Thanks!

Loved our stay!

Incredible location close to the best bars and restaurants in town. Stocked kitchen to cook a delicious meal for the 4 of us. Comfortable beds and very clean, would rent again.

Second time staying at this property! Tina was very communicative to make the stay as great as possible. I love walking out to the views every morning. We had everything we needed to cook. Played some games and watched some DVDs in between hanging out in Eastsound and Moran State Park.

Beautiful home with a gorgeous VIEW!! This was the perfect choice for two couples, offering privacy with one bedroom downstairs, and a well-equipped kitchen. Our host was so helpful, providing tips, suggestions and some local insider knowledge! I hope to stay here again next year, and the year after that…5 stars!

Excellent Orcas Island Hideaway

The house was a perfect size with an amazing view! It had everything we needed and was very close to the little downtown area. I would definitely come back.

My son Reed and I built this home in 2013/2014. It's a labor of love and a dream come true for me. A long time visitor to the island since 1998 when I was married at Rosario Resort. After visiting several times a year we got an opportunity to own a little place of our own here on this beautiful island.
I wanted it to feel like a getaway and be completely different from our home in Bellingham, hence the modern design and bright colors. It's fun and always puts a smile on my face. I also wanted to capture the amazing view and have a whole wall of windows facing south to the inlet of Eastsound. Having all the window focused on just one wall also provides an amazing amount of privacy. You can't help but stare out the window where you can see eagles soaring and the occasional small plane flying into town.
