Beautiful views

Our family enjoyed this wonderful house. Nicely decorated with just the perfect amount of rustic for the mountains. The location was great and it was easy to get to hiking trails, restaurants, and grocery store. Host was very accommodating and made sure we had everything we needed.

Great Views as Advertised

First, kudos to our host Jack who made us feel welcomed and made check in and check out a breeze! The house was perfect for 3 couples. All bedrooms have great views and are very comfortable. The views form the main room, bedrooms, and the two decks were absolutely amazing. Yes, our New Years Eve trip was cold but the house fireplace, outdoor fire pit, and our good supply of jackets kept us warm. We loved being in the house so much we only left once during our 3 day stay and that was for a New Year's Eve Dinner at the Copper Door (highly recommend this restaurant)! Hope to make this trip again someday! Truly a 5 star experience.

Breathtaking views!!

We absolutely loved our November 2024 mini getaway. The home is absolutely stunning (photos don't give it justice) and in a prime location with nearby tourist towns. My three children are teenagers, and they're ready to go back.It's perfect for older children.

Sunday School getaway weekend

This is the second time we have stayed here. Beautiful home with great views of the mountains. Beds were very comfortable and great accommodations with a large great room, 2 balconies and large kitchen. Will definitely stay here again. Jack is a gracious host.

The perfect mountain home…view, comfort and location.

This place is awesome. Perfect layout. Three friends stayed for the annual Dailey and Vincent Music Festival at the North Georgia Fairgrounds. The house is very convenient to the venue site. Each bedroom has its own bathroom which is awesome for friends. The kitchen has everything you need and is laid out smartly. The views from the two decks off the bedrooms or kitchen are amazing. Very peaceful and safe area. Highly recommend this place. The owner reached out ahead of time before arrival and departure. We didn’t need anything but I am confident he would be there for anyone if they needed assistance or to answer any questions. Wish all VRBO home owners were like him. The beds were very comfy and the shower in the master where I stayed was huge and relaxing. Again, totally recommend this place.

Perfect home for a week in the mountains

We so enjoyed our stay at this home! First it is the perfect location to visit many of the surrounding little towns, Blue Ridge, Helen and Clayton, all within an hours drive to wineries and waterfalls. The house is very large with plenty of room for all to spread out. Beds were comfortable and bathrooms were very spacious and well stocked with paper goods. Kitchen is equipped with everything you need to cook, including basic spices, starter coffee, dish detergent and paper towels. Favorite part of the house was the back deck for eating, drinking wine and watching the sunrise and sunset. Jack was the perfect host, would definitely book this again next time we are in the area.

Amazing views, and unbelievable sunsets!!

We spent five days and four nights at this mountain house and thoroughly enjoyed it. This was a great house with absolutely amazing views on the two huge balconies. The sunsets were amazing every night and his property checked all our boxes. I would highly recommend this property to anyone who’s looking for a great place to stay in the North Georgia mountains.

Relaxing in the Mountains

Stayed through the Christmas Holiday 1 week. Host even put up some Xmas decorations!! Fantastic views, excellent location and VERY comfortable. Good size kitchen & outside grill allows for great cooking. Location close to good restaurants and even grocery stores. This property is set up for maximum relaxation...indoors and out!!! Quick trip to Atlanta for the day and Sporting Clay's in Blue Ridge nearby!! Easy 2 car parking with paved roads. Definitely a winner. Premier Host with a Premier Property

Special Place

This is our 2nd stay at this home. Great location, wonderful view and very comfortable. Has everything you will need available! All paved roads suitable for 2 cars to pass and ample parking . I had trailered my motorcycle and could park the trailer, bike and truck in front of the garage (garage not available for use).

Wonderful Mountain House

This was such a terrific weekend getaway for our Fall Break. Beautiful mountain views, with the lake in the distance (and gorgeous fog in the valley in the morning). Quaint, "lodgy" feel to this home. We enjoyed relaxing with our coffee in the morning and a glass of wine at night by the fire. Lots to do in the area nearby (Lake Chatuge, hiking, and do NOT miss Bell Mountain! Wow!). Jack is an awesome host. Very responsive and accommodating. I definitely recommend this home, and we will certainly come back at some point!

Owner isn’t exaggerating about the views

This is a large home with ample room for your entire family. The view is simply stunning. We left food out for the deer, and seven came each evening. Very quiet neighborhood with lovely homes. Hiawassee is a great little town with a beautiful lake. We will visit again.

It is a very nice house with a great location and a fantastic view. The home was well maintained, with nice and comfortable furniture, and the host was very responsive and helpful. We will definitely return in the future.

This house is amazing!

We have been staying in Hiawassee for the past 4-5 years. This house is by far the best experience we have had. The house is beautiful and well equipped. The views from 2700 ft are breath taking. Sunsets are something out of this world. Jack is great! If you need anything he is minutes away. And his tomatoes are delicious! LoL We will stay here again. Thanks Jack!
