Closest Condo to the Gulf; Right on the Ocean 510

Well maintained two bedroom, two bath condominium is located off Thomas Drive right on the beach. The Condo is located on the top floor (5th) and overlooks the Gulf. There are no large developments on either side of Gulfgate. You can leave the condo and be on the beach in 60 seconds. The pool is heated and lounge chairs and tables for your use are located in the pool areas. You must be 25 years or older to rent at Gulfgate.
Our condo has Tile floors and king size beds in both bedrooms. Master bedroom also opens to the spacious balcony . Both bedrooms and living area have TV's. We also have wireless internet.
We just purchased the condo next door with identical floor plan and have just finished the renovation with same paint scheme and beautiful new tile floors.
Gulfgate is close to all major attractions and shopping. Gulfgate is the perfect place to bring your family and have a wonderful vacation. We are never crowded !

Awesome property . Owners where super quick to respond . Want the cheapest compared to other properties but it was worth it due to the low traffic and how quite it and being a smaller complex that was expected. Overall we loved it and will be returning.

The property was clean and the beach was super close! I loved the view of the ocean as well of the ocean on the balcony. The only downside was Thursday night the elevator stopped working and I wish the property had multiple elevators, other than that though the area was very nice.

Hosts were great. Property was great! Elevator was broken but that wasn't their fault. Condo layout was perfect for our family and you can't beat the view. My only negatives were the shower faucet was broken off but they had already scheduled to have that fixed. The bed wasn't as comfortable as I would have hoped. Lastly there was a lot of dog hair everywhere that hadn't been cleaned up when we arrived. Being a pet friendly condo we expected some but every time we sat down or walked around, it was on us. Our pup is a breed that doesn't shed so I guess we just aren't used to it. Overall I still give it 4 stars and would definitely stay again. Thanks for a great family vacation! (Next time we are hoping for no tropical storms, thanks Bertha ,)

We are so sorry about the elevator. I know that was inconvenient. We would have had the cleaners come back to clean the condo again due the dog hair if we had known. We are very careful about the condo being clean for each guest and would have wanted to know. I will communicate this to them to be sure this doesn't happen in the future.

We were first set up for a room that appeared to have a larger balcony but host stated non-working dishwasher, microwave but we had neighbors in the one we were supposed to receive so I do question that. Otherwise the place was very nice with a wonderful view of the ocean, nice pool, great location on the quiet part of the beach

View was very pretty. There was sand all over the floor upon arrival and on porch. No broom or dust pan available. We needed to purchase more cleaning supplies as one tablet for a dishwasher over four days was not enough. No ceiling fans in bedrooms and poor circulation made sleeping not as comfortable. So appreciated washer and dryer and wonderful refrigerator. I appreciated how personal the host was when communication issues came about. They were exceptionally kind.

I am very sorry for any issues you experienced with the sand in the unit. We provide our phone numbers for any problems and would have certainly had cleaning return if we had known there was a problem. We sincerely apologize for any discomfort you experienced and will address those issues.

Overall great experience, building is under construction and pool isn’t open. Location and condo was fantastic. Super quiet and had the beach basically to ourselves hardly anyone there! We will definitely be back.

Perfect for beach vacation

You won’t beat this beach. If that is your priority you will love this place. Very nice beach and great location. Not the newest property, but they had everything we needed, and we loved our stay. Would stay here again.

Location is the best! Close to attractions and state park. Just steps from beach! Easy access to condo from parking. Clean and just as described! Host was very accommodating. We will be back!

Great Labor Day wkend

Great Place To Stay

We loved this place !! We will for sure stay here again! Clean , everything you need. Just make sure you bring a firestick or Roku because we couldn't get the cable to work. Which your at the beach so there is not a lot of need for TV. We did bring our firestick for the kids to watch at night so it wasn't an issue for us. I would recommend this place to anyone.

ON THE BEACH

Being right on the beach was what drew us to your facility. Price made a difference also, but they do say you get what you paid for. It really needs some "minor" repairs, updating, etc. But it was beautiful being right on the beach, exactly what we wanted.

Hey Gail, I'm sorry that you were disappointed in your stay at our condo. I wish that you would have called me upon arrival, and I would have been happy to refund your money. I'm not sure what you expect for $175 per night for 4 adults but we try to offer the best value on the beach and would really like to know what repairs and updating need to be done. Beds and bathroom

The mattresses need replacing. Furniture is worn out. Bathroom floors need good scrubbing. Front door and trim needs painting.

Hey Lee, I am so sorry to hear about your stay. I wish that you would have called me because we just bought and remodeled the unit next door. We just went live on VRBO today 7/22/20 and I could have moved you next door or given you a refund so you could go somewhere else. Eighty percent of my guest are repeats and I always ask for any recommendations from them. The last nine reviews going back to last September have been 5 stars. I know that because of covid and the new elevator installation this spring that painting was pushed back until the fall. We just installed all new stainless appliances (dishwasher,oven,microwave and double door refrigerator) in early March and will be going down in late September to replace all necessary items. Also the bathroom floors have dark grey grout and are "chloroxed" every cleaning. Thanks for your input, Ben 706-614-6378

Cozy home away from home

This condo is a cozy home away from home. The view of the Gulf is awesome from the master bedroom and the living room. My mother-in-law who cannot go to the beach enjoyed the balcony overlooking the Gulf. I could take my dog, and there was a nice pet area that I could take her to. We arrived late and had a minor problem with a toilet, and I called the owners and left a message They texted me back early the next morning, and the toilet was repaired before noon on Sunday. You cannot ask for better communication with the owners and service from the condo maintenance. We will stay at this condo again. Carol
