Family friendly home - great for Summer and Fall activities or winter Holidays!!

Our Canyonview home has the feeling of a tree house as it sits above Spearfish Canyon. It is conveniently located at 309 Canyonview Lane, Spearfish, SD, a beautiful community close to all things Black Hills.
The home is a very homey split level with one bedroom on the main floor, two in the basement, one on master bedroom floor, and two on top floor. It has a very open feel as the common area on the top floor looks down into the living room, and the gas fireplace.
The master bedroom features a king sized bed, a soaking bath tub, a separate shower, and beautiful views.
The deck features awesome views of the canyon and surrounding hills.

Enchanting house

Beautiful house decorated to the max. Great kitchen and TV room. Loved the sun room and the weather was nice enough we could enjoy the patio.

Rally trip

The house was beautiful with plenty of room for all of us! The porch area was our favorite for morning coffee. It was conveniently located to all of the places we wanted to visit. Several great restaurants that were very close.

Family Wedding

The key was waiting when we arrived. This home was a great place for our family to gather when we were in town for a family wedding. There was space for everyone to spread out as well as gather all together. The views were gorgeous, the stories flowed, the laughter and love was felt throughout the house. Thank you for the memories.

Outstanding View and Host

The Home is Beautiful and has a SPECTACULAR view of the Canyon and Park. My Siblings and I celebrate Christmas for the last 30 years (after our parents died) on Labor Day Weekend. It rotates and moves across the State, this year it was Spearfish.I needed 6 bedrooms and multi bathrooms--this place nailed it. Not to mention the side deck over looking the Hills. Close to Deadwood and 45 minutes to Rapid City and other attractions.

spearfish house... beautiful!

Where do I start... the house is beautiful! We stayed here when the Black Hills Corvette Rally was going on in Spearfish. We were only minutes from the Holiday Inn (vette hub)! House was clean, spacious and comfortable for the 10 of us that stayed. The pictures didn't do justice... scenery was great. Everything was great. We couldn't ask for more. We will certainly stay here again!

We come to Spearfish for the Corvette Rally and decided to try something different. Our group of 10 was hesitant to leave the hotel which is the hub of the rally but everyone was glad we did. Fantastic house fit all of our needs and then some. Cindy is very easy to work with and replies quickly of you have questions. The house was spotless and we have it reserved again for this year. Outstanding value with a fantastic view.

Beautiful home with a great view in a quiet neighborhood!

The house is gorgeous with plenty of space for several couples or a large family. They have an amazing view which you can enjoy from the large windows inside or outside on the patio. The patio had a great setup with plenty of seating and privacy with an unobstructed view with clear siding. You can hear the stream that is down below and very soothing. They owners give a very nice touch to the house with some welcoming items waiting foe you on the counter. The house could of used a little extra cleaning but still very good. We would definitely recommend, and plan on staying again.

Wonderful home close to many activities

This home was a perfect set up for our 3 generation family reunion with 8 adults and 6 children. Everyone had their own space and then the shared spaces were great gathering places with plenty of seating for everyone. The view was incredible, overlooking the canyon and stream. While there we visited the fish hatchery and nearby park/stream and also hiked Devil's Bathtub. All were close to the home and great for adults and kids, age 2-10. We also visited Mount Rushmore and Bear Country which were just about an hour away. So for us, it was a perfect location. The owners are very easy to work with and accommodating. Thank you so much for sharing your home with us!

Amazing view

The home was beautiful. It was clean and comfortable. The view from the living room and deck was spectacular. We spent a lot of time on the deck around the propane fire pit.

Amazing place to stay

Miller Cousin Reunion

Property was more than we could have hoped for. Was spotlessly clean, all amenities were provided. The outdoor area overlooking Spearfish Canyon was the most used part of the house. There were 13 people attending and we all could sit comfortably on the deck. .Highly recommended.

5 Star Stay

Our group of 5 couples came to Spearfish for the corvette classic in mid-July. We travel together every year, and Cindy’s home is by far the nicest place that we’ve had. Location, amenities, cleanliness…everything was exceptional. The outdoor gathering space was the best—if we weren’t on the road touring, we were out on her patio. If we’re ever back in the area, we will make this home our base again. Thanks Cindy for a great stay!

So spacious, indoor and out!

This was our second time at their home and the updates and little personal touches are such a nice welcome for everyone in the family. We ranged from 5 to 75, everyone had their own room, we had space to color on a table or relax outside overlooking Spearfish Creek. We appreciate the ease of check in and check out. We hope to be back soon!

ATV riding group

We enjoyed our stay! The house was great! Lots of space for lots of people. The double kitchen was handy. Lots of fridge space. The purpose of our trip was to ride the ATV trails. We did discover the majority of the trails are South of here but we enjoyed the stay. The second day of riding we trailered the ATV's about an hour South to have access to more trails.

Our children drew us to the Black Hills. Our son graduated from Black Hills State University and our daughter married a local fellow and both settled in the beautiful Black Hills with their families. We came to love the area too and here we are! David is semi retired and doing project management and construction projects, and I recently retired from an Architectural and Engineering firm. Our hobbies mostly center around our 3 children and 8 grandchildren, 5 of whom live in Spearfish, and 3 who live in Casper, WY. When we aren't attending functions and activities involving our family, we can often be found sitting on our deck in the warm months and the sunroom in the cold months, enjoying a glass of wine.
