Family friendly home - great for Summer and Fall activities or winter Holidays!!

Our Canyonview home has the feeling of a tree house as it sits above Spearfish Canyon. It is conveniently located at 309 Canyonview Lane, Spearfish, SD, a beautiful community close to all things Black Hills.
The home is a very homey split level with one bedroom on the main floor, two in the basement, one on master bedroom floor, and two on top floor. It has a very open feel as the common area on the top floor looks down into the living room, and the gas fireplace.
The master bedroom features a king sized bed, a soaking bath tub, a separate shower, and beautiful views.
The deck features awesome views of the canyon and surrounding hills.
*** There is a 90 day cancellation policy for Sturgis Rally Bookings - no refund after 90 days before start of stay ***

Wonderful host and property. This house fit the six of us like it was built for the activities we love: eating, visiting, and sharing a beverage while looking across beautiful scenery. This property is perfect for large groups or families who enjoy each other's company. The host, Cindy, was very responsive, kind, and easy to work with.

Visit to Spearfish in October

Our stay was perfect for us. Everyone loved the property and the wonderful views. The house had everything we needed and more.

Amazing house in a quiet neighborhood.

Rally trip

The house was beautiful with plenty of room for all of us! The porch area was our favorite for morning coffee. It was conveniently located to all of the places we wanted to visit. Several great restaurants that were very close.

Enchanting house

Perfect for large family for wedding weekend

Amazing view

The home was beautiful. It was clean and comfortable. The view from the living room and deck was spectacular. We spent a lot of time on the deck around the propane fire pit.

Lovely Home

Family Wedding

We enjoyed our stay at this wonderful home. I grew up close to Spearfish and always loved going to the Spearfish creek. It was amazing to look over Spearfish creek on the beautiful deck. Everyone in the family was impressed with the home. Thank you

Amazing Place

As advertised this home was awesome. Accommodated our 3 family group with children beautifully. Stunning views. Well equipped with literally everything. The outdoor partially covered patio was so nice. Spent a lot of time out there. Hope we can come back.

Family Wedding

The key was waiting when we arrived. This home was a great place for our family to gather when we were in town for a family wedding. There was space for everyone to spread out as well as gather all together. The views were gorgeous, the stories flowed, the laughter and love was felt throughout the house. Terrific House for Family Stay

The house has excellent common areas for gathering and chatting and yet provides terrific separation with bedrooms and bathrooms. House has all the little things you might have forgotten at home. I was a bit uncomfortable with the amount of personal items in the home. It seemed as if we were staying at a friends house: personal photos, knick knacks, clothes etc. It didn't hamper our stay and the home fit our needs perfectly!

Outstanding View and Host

The Home is Beautiful and has a SPECTACULAR view of the Canyon and Park. My Siblings and I celebrate Christmas for the last 30 years (after our parents died) on Labor Day Weekend. It rotates and moves across the State, this year it was Spearfish.I needed 6 bedrooms and multi bathrooms--this place nailed it. Not to mention the side deck over looking the Hills. Close to Deadwood and 45 minutes to Rapid City and other attractions.

Our children drew us to the Black Hills. Our son graduated from Black Hills State University and our daughter married a local fellow and both settled in the beautiful Black Hills with their families. We came to love the area too and here we are! David is semi retired and doing project management and construction projects, and I recently retired from an Architectural and Engineering firm. Our hobbies mostly center around our 3 children and 8 grandchildren, 5 of whom live in Spearfish, and 3 who live in Casper, WY. When we aren't attending functions and activities involving our family, we can often be found sitting on our deck in the warm months and the sunroom in the cold months, enjoying a glass of wine.

This home is very inviting and homey. It offers every comfort with a beautiful view and is close to the many sites and sounds of the Black Hills, from site seeing to skiing to learning the fascinating history of the area.
