Nicely appointed extremely clean up-to-date 2 bedrooms with each having their own full bath. Private kitchen with all necessary kitchen items and a nice sized living area. This is a large house that has been converted to a duplex, with the owner living in the other section. There are no shared spaces, with entrances on opposite sides of the home. It has your own keyless entrance. One bedroom has a queen bed the other bedroom has a king bed. One bath has a shower the other bath has a shower tub combo. There is a small private porch outside with a Weber grill and seating, overlooking the mountains. Your own washer/dryer is available. Approximately 1500 sf.

Lisa's place is absolutely gorgeous to stay at! Lisa is a wonderful host! The views are amazing! Very safe and comfortable. Easy to get to! She adds special touches to make you feel right at home.

This is a nice place to stay for a weekend getaway. The location is comfortable. Sylva is a nice mountain town with some very good food options. This is only the bottom floor of a house. There was someone upstairs and you can hear upstairs neighbor noises. I would stay here again. There are several turns to get to the house but it is not bad. If you are following GPS and use exit 85, go down to hospital road to turn.

Thank you for your review. Yes, as listed, this is a house converted to a duplex. Often there isnt anyone in the other duplex, and generally there is little to no noise. We value your privacy.

Perfect dog friendly getaway! Our family loves to head to mountains, and family includes our pups. This house was perfect for them and close to everything we wanted to do. We hope to stay again!

I thought the house was a single family home, until we arrived to find out the lower flat was the VBRO rental and the owner lived upstairs. Great view of the great Smoky Mountains from the patio! Not easy driving in the mountains. We did have perfect weather, great time of year to visit Sylva.

I am so very glad you enjoyed the amazing view. Yes, the listing states, it is a large home that was converted to a duplex, with separate drives, patios and total privacy. Currently, the other duplex is not occupied.

Beautifully furnished and great view. Private, but easy access to many things to do. One of best VRBO places that I have stayed at.

When we arrived at the house it took us 3 attempts for the electronic keypad to take the code. Also, I recognize the keypad is convenient but it automatically locks within 3 to 5 minutes which is inconvenient when we took our dog outside. This is why we booked this house because it was pet friendly. What we liked most was the peace and quiet with the scenic views of the mountains. I would highly recommend this property.

Outstanding location and view. The property was easily accessible and close to town, but still secluded enough for privacy. The house was very clean and the dog treats were a nice surprise for our pups. We will definitely return in the near future

We really enjoyed our stay. Lisa's Place was easy to find and the instructions provided were very clear. We appreciate how well equipped the accommodations were, especially the kitchen with plenty of cookware and utensils. We did not lack for anything. We hope to be able to stay here again in the future.

Wonderful Getaway

Had a wonderful weekend getaway. Property was clean, and cozy. Host provided all our needs and a very nice snack basket for us and our pet. View was amazing as well.

Sweet stay in Sylva

Great location in a quiet area and a beautiful view! Home is well kept and a short drive to Bryson City. We also drove to Whitewater Falls about 1 hour south. We’ll stay again soon!

Perfect getaway

We really enjoyed our stay! The place was very clean and the owner had thought of everything we needed for our stay. Even chocolate on our pillows when we arrived. The beds and furniture were very comfortable and the view was beautiful! We will stay here again.

Great Place!

It was spacious and wonderful with a great view. This place is even perfect for someone with mobility issues, all one level. We loved it and so did our dog! Will definitely go back.

Decor, amenities, furnishings were superb. View to the east at sunrise spectacular. And all day. Best vrbo ever and we have had many.

Mountain Breeze was wonderful!

Lisa has a wonderful place to stay and has thought of everything you could need! The attention to detail was exquisite. I will definitely plan another stay as it was so easy to get to food, Harrahs, and the Tuckaseegee Gorge where I like to kayak.

Great Little Place

The house was clean and well appointed. Communication was clear and the whole booking was a breeze. Restaurants and things to do were not too far a drive from here. We also appreciated the dog treats for the dogs upon arrival. Would definitely stay again. Thanks Lisa.

Activities include: snow skiing in nearby Cataloochee Ski Resort, Zip-lining, kayaking, white-water rafting, hiking, fly-fishing, Harrah's Casino, many pottery and artists shops, waterfalls, a scenic train ride, Smoky Mountain Parkway, Cherokee Indian Reservation! Amazing waterfalls in the area. Asheville is only 45 minutes away. Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg TN are a very scenic drive through the Great Smoky Mountain National Park 1 to 1.25 hours away. This is a large home that is converted to a duplex. And all areas are separate and private, including your own driveway. The owner lives in the other area, when not traveling, and respects your privacy and will only meet you upon request.
