Perfect Getaway

Had looked at this place and saved it as a favorite over a year ago. Just happened to check the schedule for a quick getaway and was available. It met all of our needs, was clean and great location. Kamal is a local and the area is a close-knit community. Will definitely be back!

Honeymooner Paradise

Absolutely breathtaking location! We got lost as we didnt make arrangements prior to leaving the states for International Travelers. Therefore we didnt have the use of Google Map. We ended up at a restaurant i recognized from my research and they allowed us to connect to their wifi. We contacted Kamal and he met us at the restaurant and we followed him to our villa! Bed was so comfortable! Quiet neighborhood! Steps away from the most beautiful beach i have ever seen; Tropic of Cancer Beach. Beach was never crowded! House had everything we needed! The road conditions to the house were as other reviews stated but manageable if driving slow. Wifi was spotty so if you plan to work a little while your here best beat is to do it off the property. I know why in the world would someone want to do any work while at paradise? Some of us have no choice. The drive from the airport or to restaurants does take sometime and thats mainly for all the pot holes your dodging on the main roads. Be prepared to drive on the wrong side of the road and the car if you live in the United States. A experience my husband LOVED and will never forget. Rent A Car is a MUST! Thompson Rental is who we used. Must eat place Blu on the Water and Yacht Club!!! We ate at the Yacht Clud twice! Will definitely return!

"Tropical View Villa Pink Hibiscus"

Everything about my stay was perfect. The house had all the comforts of home. There was nothing I lacked. The beach was what everything you picture a tropical beach being. Miles of white sand and swimming pool clear water. I found some decent snorkeling on either end of the beach. The neighborhood was so quiet and the nights so dark, the stars were brilliant. The locals were genuinely friendly. I never once felt like a stranger. Sandy at the pop up bar was amazing.

Perfectly adequate house, with all you need if trying to get away from it all and just across the street from a beautiful beach. It must be noted that the internet situation is poor.

Family of 4 Dream vacation

The house was great, clean, well equipped and even equipped for beach outings. The only complaint I do have is the beds. They were hard as a rock. Other than that the AC worked great water heater stayed hot and great with beach gear! Also they host are very helpful our car died they day we had to leave and had jumper cables right around corner. I really hate to complain about anything but I had a hard time sleeping due to the mattress.

Quiet paradise

This home from home was amazing! It was clean and so peaceful. The hosts thought of everything! There were plenty of towels and kitchen supplies! We appreciated the inflatable tunes to use at the beach. The beach was a short walk and was stunning. It was also great to have a washer and drier! The air conditioners worked well, too. I would thoroughly recommend this VRBO property!

Perfect week of Sun and Sand!

We couldn’t have asked for a better week! Tropical View exceeded our expectations across the board!! Very close (steps) to amazing Tropic of Cancer beach. Really clean and comfortable. Newer A/c and living room furniture. Great value for fees paid. Responsive hosts though we didn’t want for anything. We are already planning our return

Secluded beach experience

Spectacular location if you want to stay on one of the best beaches in the world. Bit of a drive to anything but worth it if you want some seclusion and long/wide white sandy beaches. At night you probably have the entire beach to yourself. Great local food and drinks at the beach during day. Kamal was super attentive when we needed to rebook.

Well outfitted and great location

This is probably one of the best outfitted places we have ever stayed at, not only in the kitchen but with floats, coolers, garbage bags, soap, and other supplies. Place was exceptionally clean. Amazing location within walking distance to Tropic of Cancer beach. We will definitely be back!

A Slice of Tropical Paradise (Pink Hibiscus Cottage)

This sweet little cottage lived up to all it's reviews. It was equipped with everything that you could possibly need. Not too much, and not too little. The cottage was in perfect condition for cleanliness and comfort. Some guests had left other things behind that came in handy. Things like coffee filtres. (basket style). There were spices handy ie the essentials like salt and pepper. And we donated a few extra items ourselves. Quick access to the beach, less than five minutes. Handy outdoor shower, great for rinsing off feet, beach shoes etc. I would recommend leaving all footwear outside. My partner suffered from the "no-see-ums", but that is not unusual for him. Make sure to bring whatever you need to cope with those beasties!. The beach is a fabulous walking beach in that you can go for a great distance to get in your morning walk. We were not able to snorkle while we were there and that may have been due to the time of year. Do make sure to bring plenty of drinking water. The tap water was a high iron content which gives it an odor but was safe to drink. If you forget, there is a handy little place called "E&E" in Forbes Hill and they have all kinds of extras should have forgotten something in Georgetown. Do make sure to check things out locally. Santanas is not far away, be sure to have the ribs, and don't make the mistake that I made at lunch, a Bahama Mama and a Goombay Smash. I did not realize how potent they were. A four hour nap occurred after lunch. Also close by was Mommy's bakery. Homemade Bahamaian pastries. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Pink Hibiscus and would highly recommend this little cottage to anyone who is looking for something out of the way, quiet and tranquil. Dale & Ruby N.

Daughter's Senior Trip 2022

The cottage was great, will equipped with EVERYTHING from a kitchen with nice pots, pans, knives, etc, to everything you would need for the beach... EVERYTHING.... Coolers, chairs, tents, floaties, etc. Bug spray is a must, whether you pack it or pick it up at a store on the way to your property... BUY SOME! The beach is amazing, steps away, great access, and a little pop up bar at the entrance was set up on nice days so you can have a wonderful cocktail while walking the beautiful beach. Mid way between the beach and the islands right of shore, there are tons of sand dollar shells, to many to collect... Snorkeling is easy as it doesn't get extremely deep out there, strong swimmers GO, you won't regret. Take a noodle or float. Just watch for tour boats screaming by, they do cut between the beach and islands. The road conditions are pretty bad, potholes that will end your life is an understatement, the road getting to the house... REALLY bad. Just take your time. Georgetown has EVERYTHING you need, great little grocery store by the gas station... VERY NICE has to EVERYTHING. We had a rental boat that we took out daily from Mims Sports (also right down from the gas station) Jamal was great, always had a cooler with ice for us... READY TO GO. it was easy and fun to find the snorkeling spots and enjoy beach time throughout the designated areas on the map. We enjoyed a lunch a couple times at the snappy turtle. We ate at February's Rusty Anchor for dinner one evening, service and view 10, food...ehhh ok. Overall.... Great Vaca!! GO AND ENJOY.

Half a block from the Tropic of Cancer Beach

Comfy 2 bdrm house/ one bath. AC and fans in each room. Well appointed in kitchen, linens and beach gear like towels, chairs for 2 and cooler. The beach is devine and the area quiet. Be aware that shopping is in Georgetown - about a 30 min drive. When stocking-up in Georgetown, do purchase addt'l paper products (ie: tp) as there is just enough to get you started. Kamal and family are available for assistance and plenty of recommendations for your visit.
