Very spacious unit in a great location. Just a short walk across the street to the beach. Plenty of restaurants and shops just a couple blocks away. Steve was great with communication as well.

The property was well maintained and had nice amenities. The elevator really assisted in getting stuff up and down to the floor we were on. Owners are very hospital and very easy to work with

Excellent option for a stay in Kihei. We really appreciated how the condo is a quick walk to Kam II & III beaches and has a nice pool. Being on the top floor, the unit feels spacious with tall ceilings and has great views, especially from the lanai.Walkable to other stores & restaurants. The condo is comfortable and came exactly as described, including pack & play for little kids. Extensive beach equipment included, which is a fun bonus. The complex itself is a little dated, but fully functional. Owners were very responsive when a minor issue came up.

Thanks for your very nice review. Yes haleakala shores is right at 50 years, but as a board member I can say we work constantly to maintain and improve the property. It does have a very unique architectural design with the tropical courtyard and bridges to each unit. As an estimator for a large construction company, I can say this design would not happen due to cost in today's world. One thing you cannot replace is the location!

If you’re traveling on a budget, and you’re not too discerning, you’ll be done here. Good location, not unclean.A/C consists of two small window units that are controlled by timers with four-hour limits, so plan on sleeping for four-hour periods of you want consistent A/C over night. One unit is in the primary bedroom, one in the main living room. If you’re sleeping in the second bedroom, you cannot close the double door if you want the living room A/C unit to cover that room, so you must choose between privacy and comfort. Fortunately, it was not too hot during our stay, so we were fine.A pair of panties was found in the primary bedroom dresser drawer. We threw them in the trash.No ice maker. Be sure to bring your own body wash, shampoo, conditioner, etc. The only body soap available is small, motel 6-style bars of soap.Kitchen ceiling fan was noisy when on high setting. Only one roll of paper towels was provided.Overall, the place was fine. We were out and about most of the time.

Thank you for your input on our unit. Yes we should be and will be providing more toilet paper. Yes we are going to get those dispensers for shampoo, conditioner and body wash for each bathroom. That might be a few weeks to make happen. As far as the ac goes, we do have 3 fans in the living area, and one in each bedroom and bathroom. Between those fans, the ac, natural ventilation, no direct sun, insulated ceilings, we have never had issues with not being comfortable, as you stated. We strive for a 5 star from each guest and appreciate your input. Steve

The apartment was beautiful . Great balcony with a view of the ocean . The grilling area was nice and so was the pool . So much to do and lots of things were in walking distance . We had a great time ! Thank you for letting us stay at your home away from home

We have normally stayed in units 50% more expensive than what we paid for this unit and both my wife and I agreed that for the money, it was a great place to stay. Even with the road construction due to the Kihei floods, it was a pleasant stay. Walking distance to great snorkeling, spacious and comfortable place. We had a minor concern that arose during our stay that both the owner and the property manager jumped on quickly to ensure that we were happy. Nice stay!

Location, location, location! We really enjoyed this condo and its proximity to my favorite beaches and restaurants. It is an older facility but kept up very well. It is located on the top floor, has nice tall ceilings and is above some of the hustle and bustle from the side street below. We enjoyed the sunsets from it's deck and the decent view of the ocean. I used the pool a few times. The water is very fresh and inviting and the lounging and cooking area around it are kept immaculate. The parking spot is located very close to the elevator. The elevator is a very short walk from the condo.

Location of this property is fantastic, right up the street/walking distance from Kam 2 and 3. Pool is nice and clean with lots of chairs and space to hang out. This property includes all you could possibly need for a beach day with a family with kids and that was a huge bonus for us. Host and local property manager were very responsive and helpful. We arrived right after the storms and flooding so had lots of little gnats (tiny flies) around doors and bathrooms but they didn’t bother us and we talked to lots of people on island and this was the norm everywhere. Only mentioning in case you’re coming in the next week or two and reading this review!

This condo is large, clean, very well appointed and in a truly excellent location. It also has a great lanai/deck and being on the top floor, great views and high ceiling. One block from the popular Kihei beaches and very close to all parts of Maui.I let the owner know that his place is now our "go to condo" for any future Maui vacations.Of particular note (and very much appreciated) was the owner's communications. I'd give him 10 starts for this. He was always prompt, usually answered any question within two hours! All in all, a super delightful experience staying here and I'll be recommending this place to many of my friends.

Great Location

We really enjoyed our stay here. We were comfortable, and were supplied everything we needed, to start our week long stay. The location is great. Only a stroll to the beach and great restaurants.

This unit was in a great location, steps from the beaches. 2 big rooms and living space, balcony overlookong the fields and beach. Was a great time and "home base" as we adventures all over the island. Recommend!
