"Hummingbird Suites" is approximately one mile from the main entrance to Acadia National Park. This is an immaculate, private, one-bedroom suite with hardwood floors with a very comfortable futon in the living room area. If you like flowers or birds you will enjoy our gardens that are frequented by many colorful birds, especially the ruby-throated hummingbird.

Great place for a couple. The Hummingbird Suite is absolutely immaculate and well supplied with everything needed, not counting the lovely view!

This is a wonderful place to stay while visiting the Bar Harbor/Acadia area. The location is very convenient, making it just a short drive to just about everything the area has to offer. The apartment is even nicer in person than the pictures! It was spotlessly clean with nice linens/towels and all the kitchen basics. They also provided things like hand and dish soap, dishwasher pods, paper towels and toilet paper that not all rentals have. We appreciated having enough counter and cabinet space in the bathroom to be able to unpack all our toiletries, and it was a nice extra touch that basic shampoo, conditioner and body wash were provided. The yard is well kept with beautiful plants and flowers, and the ducks, chickens and geese are fun to watch. The hosts were very easy to communicate with, and they are readily available if needed. We hope to stay here again in the future.

We appreciate your kind words. The gardens get better and better as the weather gets better so that by the end of summer they really are wonderful. We plant many flowers that the hummingbirds love so we have a slew of birds by the first week of August when the babies come out of their nests. We also look forward to you returning.

The Hummingbird Suite is an adorable house with vaulted ceilings, excellent lighting, and pretty views out the back. It has everything needed including a dishwasher and was extremely clean and well maintained. I can tell that the owners take pride in their ownership. The location is so close to Acadia NP and Bar Harbor. I would definitely stay here again when returning to the area.

Hummingbird Suite

Perfect spot and only a mile from the entrance to Acadia. The space was quiet and we could truly relax between sight seeing trips. We loved the backyard ducks, geese, & chickens, beautiful gardens, and birds. I would book this space again!

Short trip to Acadia

Property was very clean and comfortable. Owners were helpful and friendly, gave us suggestions of places to visit in the Park. Would stay here again. Thanks!Also, for some reason Vrbo required me to rate the “winery experience”. This was not a winery trip so the winery rating I gave is meaningless

Perfect location!! We planned our trip around being able to hike in Acadia National Park, and this space is perfectly located for easy access into both the East and West Sides of the Park! In fact, we were pleasantly surprised at how close the West Side was to the Suite. It's also a quick drive into Bar Harbor for groceries, shopping and restaurants. It was the perfect amount of space for the two of us, giving us exactly what we needed to enjoy a cup of coffee while watching the geese and relax with a movie at the end of a long day of hiking. The host was terrific and responded almost immediately! It was a fabulous trip!

Perfect in every way

We won’t stay anywhere else for our annual visit to this beautiful area. It’s got all the comforts you need - dishwasher, washer/dryer, well equipped kitchen, comfortable bed, TV and good WiFi, lovely pretty property, excellent location, and gracious helpful hosts. We look forward to being here year after year!

Enjoyable stay.

My family of 4 had a nice stay at this apartment. Had everything we needed. Very much enjoyed the sights and sounds of the garden: birds, butterflies, trees, flowers, ducks and geese. Location was perfect, just a few minutes drive to both Acadia and harbor. Will recommend this place to friends.

Everything we needed and then some. Great location for our adventures. The place was spotless, bed truly amazing I have to get one like it. Attentive when we had questions and easy check in.

Cute place

This little apartment was perfectly located. Just outside of Bar Harbor. A quick drive to Acadia. It was clean and the hosts were very friendly. We would definitely return.

Kevin and Donna built Hummingbird Suites ourselves and named it after Donna's favorite bird. Kevin works at a local genetic research facility and Donna is a beautician and runs her own Salon. Kevin is from Florida and Donna is from Massachusetts.

We chose the property because it is conveniently located in a quiet location within one mile from Acadia National Park and only 4 miles from downtown Bar Harbor. We also like that is on the west side of Bar Harbor with easy access off the island without going through the summer traffic in Bar harbor.

We provide everything needed for a comfortable stay in a fully-equipped private Suite we are close to several Lobster Pounds and other restaurants. We are very close to the main entrance to the National Park.
