A perfect base for exploring Acadia!We stayed at the Huckleberry Inn for four nights during our family trip in October and loved it. The location is ideal — an easy walk to downtown Bar Harbor’s shops and restaurants, and a quick drive to Acadia for hiking and biking. Our room was clean, cozy, and comfortable, and it was exactly what we needed after long days outdoors. We’d happily stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone visiting Bar Harbor!

We absolutely loved this apartment. We had everything we needed. The location is amazing! So nice to walk around Bar Harbor and not worry about parking.

We loved our stay! Communication was excellent and questions were quickly answered. Our host provided a notebook that was a huge help. The cottage is conveniently located in a safe area. We had a great time!

Carol was a very friendly and available host. The apartment is in an outstanding location in the heart of Bar Harbor yet in a quiet area. The apartment itself is roomy for a couple and has pretty much everything you could need. Great experience!

We absolutely loved our stay here in Bar Harbor! From the moment we arrived, we felt welcomed and comfortable. The property was clean, cozy, and had everything we needed for a relaxing stay.The location was perfect for our trip, so convenient to shops, restaurants and Acadia National Park, which made it easy to get out and explore everything the area has to offer. After long days of hiking and sightseeing, it was nice to come back to such a comfortable place.We really appreciated the attention to detail and how well everything was taken care of. It truly felt like a place where the owners cared about their guests’ experience. We would definitely stay here again and would recommend this place to anyone visiting the Bar Harbor area!

We loved the location. The apartment was within walking distance of Bar Harbor downtown. We appreciate the cleanliness and how well the apartment was furnished. The host was very pleasant and made our stay very enjoyable.

Perfect Stay

Carol’s place is in an amazing location in Bar Harbor. Close to the water and downtown activities but in quiet neighborhood. The apartment is very clean and well stocked kitchen. Perfect place for day hike excursions throughout Arcadia.

Great location. We could walk everywhere in Bar Harbor and just an 8 minute drive to Acadia. Carol was a wonderful host.

Carol was a great host. She introduced herself to my husband and I and offered any assistance she could provide. The accommodations was clean and the location was perfect. I would definitely recommend!

Quiet, clean and very comfortable. Close walk to everything downtown and short drive or bike to ANP. Fabulous week and top notch host. Would stay again in a minute.

Huckleberry was great !

Huckleberry was a cute upstairs apt with all the amenities. It’s walking distance to tons of restaurants, shops & the harbor . A short drive to Arcadia National Park too ! Will definitely be back !I Highly recommend it . A great place to stay ! Thank you Carol

Wonderful place!

Right in downtown Bar Harbor - easy walking to many interesting places. Around the corner from Jordan’s - our fav breakfast place. And a couple of blocks from the sandbar exposed at low tide. Super well stocked and very comfortable. And Carol is a dear person. Skip the corporations and give her some business!

The Huckleberry Suite had the best location! It was right in the heart of Bar Harbor and walkable to restaurants, shops, sights, and even to the grocery store! The private suite had a well stocked kitchen, it was quiet, felt homey, the bed was comfortable, and the water pressure in the shower was great! Carol is a nice lady and an excellent host! She keeps Huckleberry very clean and organized. She sent us all the information we needed to check in seamlessly and made sure we had everything we needed!Cindy and Terry

A Gem in Bar Harbor

The location was perfect! Within walking distance to the downtown area. Very clean upstair apartment (stairs). Exactly what the pictures show. Carol, the owner, was very responsive when we had an issue with the washer. One issue when looking for the address, Google will send you to the first side street, which is wrong. Since it’s a one way street, you’ll have to loop around back to the street, look for the white picket fence in your right. We will definitely stay there again if we come back to Bar Harbor!

The Huckleberry Suite was the perfect vacation spot for our stay in Bar Harbor. Just the right size for a couple and the location was excellent for going anywhere in Bar Harbor. We walked everywhere we went. Though, we did take the bus from the Village Green to Acadia National Park. It truly is the perfect vacation spot in the amazing harbor town. We loved our visit! Maine is a beautiful place to be. You will love this home away from home.

Enjoyed our week stay in Bar Harbor. The Huckleberry suite was exactly as advertised. The rental was clean and had everything we needed. It is within walking distance to all the shops, restaurants, grocery store and shops. The host was great at communicating with us. Will definitely be back!

Perfect stay for our young family of 4. The two children had soo much room to sleep on the futon and it was quite comfortable even for an adult. Communication with Carol was tremendous. Location is prime walking distance to everything downtown, so the value of renting here is amazing. We’ll definitely look here again in the future.
