Hermosa casa con un enorme plano de planta - Mango II

The size and layout of the actual house is amazing! Large groups would be hard pressed to find the location and size for this price anywhere else:) It's exactly 2 miles each way from Seaside town proper. Unfortunately, we had to do some major cleaning before we were even comfortable sleeping in the beds. I even took a picture of the dirt to send to owner privately. We aren't clean-freaks by any stretch, but the filth was months, if not years, accumulated. Very possible that the owner just doesn't realize that the "cleaning" crew has become VERY lax. We got out the vacuum and got busy. The entry doors were so caked with dirt. Simply giving them a quick wipe down before the quests arrive would have been sufficient. They were just nasty:( The cleaning service arrived around 2:00 in the afternoon, and we were scheduled to check in at 4:00. We don't see how they could have possibly changed out all the beds, much less done any "cleaning" in a 2 hour period?? There are 10 beds! Outside of the cleaning concerns, there are some running toiliet issues, and a couple of the tvs wouldnt work, no matter how closely we followed the directions. The pool was very dirty, and looking unkept. Please know that the property is on beach SIDE, but certainly not beach "view". A very large/tall house sits directly behind the Mango, and blocks any chance of that. The balcony is lovely, but your view will be the house directly behind you. But, the walk isn't terribly far to get on the beach, and we were fine with that. As long as you don't struggle with stairs or a bit of a distance, it shouldn't be an issue. We were with good friends, and made it all work fine for us, but I rely heavily on VRBO reviews to make decisions, so I'm always honest. If the issues mentioned are addressed, we would likely consider this property again!!

Pictures show it’s on the beach but you actually are looking at the back of another house. They need to update those pictures. But other then that it was a great place.

The size & location for our family was great. The home definitely needs a thorough cleaning. There must be plumbing issues as there was some water dripping under the house where we were parking cars. The a/c couldn't keep up in the living & kitchen areas even though it was cold in bedrooms.

This is the second time we have stayed at Mango and have enjoyed it very much. I would suggest a couple needed updates.

The wi-fi did not reach the back bedrooms and was very, very slow. We never could find a router to try a reset.

There are a couple of steps going up to the second floor where the faceboards on the steps need to be looked at, they catch heels and could become dangerous. Also, the spigot in the kitchen - cold to the right, cold to the left, hot in the very center, but not very hot.

While the cooler in the kitchen is great and does a wonderful job, heavy to empty though, I always wish for a little larger refrigerator, may a side by side is not the best choice.. The ice maker could not keep up with the number of people

Love tile floors, but carpet is looking a little sad.

Last but not least, there needs to be some repair work done in the concrete by the steps in the pool. it is cracking and chipping.

Your service when we needed it during the week was great. Overall, it was a great week. We love the layout of the house, with bedrooms, baths and the large gathering area - very important to our family.

Perfect for for 3 families. It might be a little tight for more than that. We had 6 adults and 6 kids. If you don’t like walking up steps this place may not be for you, but we were glad to have the extra steps for exercises. We would rent this place again.
