Perfect location!! Riverfront, next to a state park, plenty of animals with deer and owls each morning. Deck area is awesome for morning sunrise and evening sunset in summer months. House was great, 3 levels kept our privacy with plenty of room for gathering

Lots of space. Quiet. Out of the way, but close enough to go sight seeing. Great place to just hang out and chill. Already planning our next stay!

A Great Property

We really enjoyed our stay. The location was wonderful and it was so nice to be right along the river. The house was just as described and all communications with the owner were timely and sincere. I would certainly stay here again and recommend it to anyone with a large group looking to stay in the area.

Cabin is huge and very very cool. The huge log timbers are all exposed and really a feat of engineering. There's no need for A/C, it was 90 outside and very comfortable inside. The location was very private. The cabin, very clean and pretty much perfect, a professional VRBO home. The river had a bit of a current, we put in our rafts at the nearby state park, then got out at our cabin, we floated for under 1.5 hours, which was good for us. The BBQ grill was great. The riverfront was pretty, but it's really deep and not a good place to jump in, my opinion. The area on river was full of goose poops and really needed a platform or dock on the bank. We fished but with no luck, as late in the year (august) water temps aren't great for the trout bite. Host is very nice and accommodating.

Awesome Spacious Log House on the Deschutes River

Perfect base camp to experience Central Oregon. Bring SUPs, kayaks, etc. to float the Deschutes launching or taking out from the backyard with a simple shuttle for the pickup vehicle.

Perfect setting

Somewhat on the rustic side, but it is a log cabin in the woods, right on the river, after all.Very relaxing and so quiet. Just you and nature.

Beautiful Spot

We had an amazing stay! Temps soared to the upper 90’s and this spot was perfect for floating the river, short hikes and watching wildlife right at the cabin! Beautiful, well stocked, and spacious! We have put this on our places to revisit!

Family Union Getaway

It was great we eant to thank the owner for a very nice time .... And it was funny we were at our family reunion and found out that one of our family memebers happen to know what house we were staying in because he went to school with the owner...

Celebration weekend

We celebrated my moms 80th birthday and Father’s Day as well. The house was ideal as there was something for everyone. Several of us fished and the bank area along the Deschutes was ideal. We all really enjoyed our stay and will definitely come back.

Central fly fishing cabin

Beautiful spacious log cabin on the river. Quiet end of the road location. 20 minutes south of Bend. Central to 4 beautiful rivers great for fly fishing. Cabin has everything imaginable. Beds comfortable. Wonderful place to stay. Owners thought of everything.
