Pier Park is a 5-minute drive to the East where you will find excellent shopping, a wide variety of restaurants, night clubs, a 16-theater cinema and amusement park for children. Just a few minutes' drive to the west is popular 30Avenue and Rosemary Beach. Here you can rent bikes to cruise the scenic 30-A bike trail, enjoy a casual lunch on the patio of Wild Olive or Georges or partake in one of the several first-class restaurants known for fine dining.

There are five public golf courses within a 30-minute drive. Camp Creek is arguably the nicest of the group. The two courses at Bay Point are also highly regarded, as are the 27 holes at The Hombre. Signal Hill is a forgiving open course that is a good value and not as challenging. Holiday Club is rated somewhere between Signal Hill and The Hombre.
