Honokeana Love!

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Relaxing, warm, perfect! The grounds are exquisite, and the charm of Honokeana comes from the staff, the size of the property, the Honu and of course all the other fantastic creatures you get to observe while in what feels like an enormous aquarium. Can't wait to go back.

Favorite Vacation Spot!

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This was our third visit to Honokeana Cove condo 113. We have met many friends there and meet at the same time every year!It is an older development, it is well maintained and very clean. This unit has everything that we need, love having a full kitchen. Upon arrival there is always a beautiful fresh floral arrangement. The manager lives on site so is always available if any need arises.Also, there is a great little market and a few restaurants within walking distance.

Our Favorite Vacation Spot

The Best Condos on Mauii!

It could use a bit of updating. That didn't take away from our experience! Enjoyed the location of unit 113, great to be able to walk off the front patio out to the pool and cove.

I hate to give a review because this place will get too crowded!

Negatives: not a lot of privacy because your patio is right on the common area and there isn't any AC. But.....the positives greatly outweigh the negatives and we will be back ASAP!!

A perfect piece of paradise

The property is ideally situated on the shores of Honokeana Cove, a few steps down to the intimate little bay filled with sea life and, especially, sea turtles. Only a short walk away are several other beaches to enjoy. From our balcony we could look out onto Molokai and see humpback whales breaching in the distance. The unit itself was clean and just perfectly set up for our group of four. We were able to use the kitchen and outside grill to cook up some delicious meal. Each unit is configured to face the common areas and the ocean, so though the compound was full of guests, we never lost a sense of privacy and quiet. The guests were all very friendly - a wonderful group of vacationers to complement the gorgeous setting. When I return to Maui, I plan to return here.

Beautiful but noisy and crowded

I was somewhat dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This was our third year coming to the Cove during whale season. We learned that March is crowded with families with young children rather than older groups like ourselves. Instead of peaceful and relaxed times at the shore or pool, our days and nights were filled with cries and loud voices and the pool filled with untended children.
