Our family rented 3 units at this property for 9 adults and two children (5&3). The location and cove are wonderful, multiple turtle sightings were frequent in and out of the water. The property is very well kept and we loved that it was gated for security. We loved snorkeling and paddle boarding in the cove. The pool was great to enjoy swimming with our granddaughters and whole family! The unit was nicely furnished and the deck was a great space to relax and enjoy the views. The upper loft does get a bit warm in the evening and the larger bed’s mattress in the lower room was a bit too firm. Overall it is a lovely unit and property.

Honokeana is our favorite place to stay on Maui! It is away from the crowds yet convenient to anything you may need. We can totally relax, take ocean walks or/and snorkel with the turtles.

We rented the one-bdrm with loft and the three of us, one couple and a single friend, were very comfortable. Sitting on the balcony, snorkeling in the cove, chatting with neighbors - it's all very relaxing.

We had a great time with out 2 grandkids. There was a room with a double bed and one twin that was perfect. They loved to snorkel with the turtles and fish and swim in the pool.

Maui was fabulous and especially our lodging at Honokeana cove made it all worthwhile. Area was impressive turtles and whale watching from our balcony...very nice pool. We beaches shopping food nearby. It was an amazing stay. Will definitely schedule again.

The Cove is just the right size for a special Maui getaway. Its location is ideal, with sea turtles and reef life just steps away. Everyone was friendly, the grills are right next to the water...perfect. Groceries are a 2 minute drive away.

The stay was wonderful! The suite had all the things we need and was very comfortable. Snorkeling the cove every morning and sometimes in the late afternoon was the highlight. Saw tons of fish, many Turtles and a couple moray eels. Paradise!

Our one bedroom loft condo was perfect for our family of four. Kids loved the pool and we had no problem taking turns in the cove snorkeling while still with the family during nap times. Staff were incredible and the place was spotless. We had so many turtle experiences in the cove; way better than expensive boat trips. Would definitely love to come back!

Best of Both Worlds!
Awesome snorkeling steps from condo AND 5min walk to sandy beach, what else do you need! No need for a boat snorkel tour as we saw tons of turtles, all sorts of reef fish, eels, urchins as well as even an octopus! Also, discovered restaurant in neighboring resort with great happy hour and reasonably priced meals. I emailed the manager to ask if there were any beach toys (never got a reply) but discovered four beach chairs, two boogie boards and an array of snorkeling gear that was in the closet and put to good use. Overall, great place with awesome snorkeling!

This was our first time back since the fire. While Lahaina Town is sadly gone and will take a long time to rebuild, there is still much to do. We ziplined on Haleakala, rode horseback at Circle M ranch and went fishing out of Maalaea harbor. And the Cove was packed with turtles as usual.

Gorgeous view, uncomfortable chairs on lanai
The property was wonderful! Well maintained gardens, fabulous snorkeling with soooo many turtles. And at this time of year, March, lots of whales to watch. The pool small but delightful. The view from the lanai was stunning. This is a quiet spot, if you want bars and restaurants don’t come here! The unit owner needs to upgrade their seating on their lanai (deck), incredibly uncomfortable and the occasional chair in the living room was sagging big time. Unit was clean with sufficient supplies.
