802 Sandpiper Dunes is situated on the South side of the Sandpiper Dunes Condominium, an oceanfront building w/ outdoor pool. This 2 BR, 2 BA unit sleeps 8, not including LR sofas. The unit was recently renovated (updated) including new Kitchen, flooring, carpet, and furniture. It is chic and comfortable, with amazing ocean, city, and bay views. The primary living area includes bamboo flooring, sectional leather sofa, wide-screen Smart Ultra-HDTV. Newly carpeted BR's and newly furnished. The place is gorgeous.

Great Location

The condo was the perfect size for us. Really enjoyed the views and location. It was walking distance to many restaurants, activities, and stores. It was very clean and well kept. Enjoyed the private balcony and there is plenty of parking including the two provided spots. The beach is steps from the building!

Great location & beautiful condo

This was a great location, and beautiful property. The condo is clean, updated and well maintained. Steve was an excellent and communicative host. He gives you all of the information you need and check in is very efficient. I would definitely recommend this property and we hopefully will stay again next year!

EXCELLENT

We had an amazing week! The condo is perfect, the terrace was amazing, the beds were comfy. Close to the boardwalk but far enough away from the crowds. The pool was great too.

Loved It!

We came for the car shows. The condo was cute, clean, and well equipped. We walked to lunch and to the OCCS for the car show. The price was reasonable and communication with the property owners was easy and appreciated. We highly recommend!

Great vacation spot!

Condo was spotless, nicely decorated and the kitchen had all that you would need for simple meal making. Stayed in many places in the past and this one was definatelly one of my favorites! Beach in your backyard with amazing views from the balcony. Location of the condo is perfect! Walking distance to many restaurants, Seacrest, Dead Freddie, Bad Monkey, Johnny's Pizza and many others. Nick's Mini Golf and King Kone ice cream also few blocks away. My family absolutely loved it!

Excellent

The view and location of this property was perfect . I loved that it had access to the ocean view balcony from the living room and master bed room . The only thing I disliked was it was on the 8th floor and I’m afraid of heights . Other than that the condo was beautiful . I would stay again and recommend this to anyone .

Steve, thank you so much for hosting us last night. We went to the music festival, had a great time there and enjoyed a great nights sleep at your place. It’s a great condo, clean and very nicely decorated! We will absolutely book again if we have occasion to be back in OCMD. Cheers Mike Bianco

Excellent all around!

The checkin process seamless. Everything was done prior to checkin day which made the process efficient! The cleanliness, space, the view… oh my gosh the views of the ocean and Bay… all above expectations! Everything was decorated beautifully! We cooked some meals in the condo and the amenities were plentiful! Any cooking pots/pans and utensils were there!!! The owners made sure their guests had everything needed! The only con was that we didn’t want to leave! Everything in the description of this condo exceeded our expectations!

Family Vacation at the Beach

Sandpiper Dunes is centrally located near shopping, restaurants, and activities. Having an electric key pad on the door was very helpful, no keys to worry about. This 8th floor unit was beautiful and offered delightful views of the beach, the bay, the moon, and the many campfires on the beach. The kids enjoyed the pool after a day on the beach. The "unload" parking spaces located near the luggage carts and access ramp made it very easy to check-in and out. The building is large, but the 3 elevators made coming and going to the condo easy. The trash chute was a welcomed surprise. The ice maker on the counter was appreciated. We were happy to see that the kitchen was very well stocked with lots of pots and pans, since we cook breakfasts and dinners most days. Hopefully we will be able to return again next July.

Beautiful place

The place was beautiful, the view was great! Only complaint was no sheets and towels provided , which isn’t that big of a deal, but more to remember and have to pack. Other than that, great stay!

Stay was great. Condo was clean and nice. Couple issues with both bathroom sink drains not draining properly, both toilets seemed to have an issue flushing and one of the toilet seats was broken.

Great condo

Check in was very easy and communication with the host was great. The condo was clean, beautifully decorated and had everything you needed. The beds were probably the most comfortable ones I’ve ever slept in at a rental. I would definitely recommend this condo and can’t wait to rent it again. Thanks!

Family Vacation

The condo was beautifully furnished. We love the Sandpiper location. We tried to vacuum but it was not really picking up so we did use the broom. We had a wonderful week.

Comfortable Vacation Condo

From entering this condo, you know the owners care about the place. It feels homey and comfortable. The view of the ocean is great, despite being a side unit. The kitchen is well stocked with essentials for food prep and eating. The owner is very responsive to messages. I would love to stay here again!

Peaceful Getaway

The condo was nicely decorated and well kept. Short walk to the beach and within walking distance to Dumser's Ice Cream and Fager's Island Restaurant. I would gladly stay there again.

Fabulous stay

We really enjoyed staying in this unit. We love the building and the centralized location in Ocean city. It is beachfront, with an elevator and a pool. The property is very clean. The unit was beautiful, love the furniture and everything you could possibly need was provided. We highly recommend!

Wonderful property with modern amenities

My family has been renting various properties in OCMD for 25 years. This unit is easily one of the best that we have seen. The location is within walking distance to staples like Macky's and Seacrets. The view is outstanding with views of the beach/ocean and south Ocean City. The interior has been updated with all of the comforts of home including modern technology. If you are traveling with kids the second bedroom couldn't be configured any better. We were totally satisfied with our stay and look forward to coming back. Thanks!

Couldn't ask for more

I've stayed in many different Ocean City condos over the years and this one is by far my favorite! I love being right on the beach; you just can't beat the convenience. This particular unit is on the 8th floor, well above the surrounding buildings, giving an amazing view of the ocean and beach. Standing up we could even see the bay from the balcony. There's a comfortable chair perfectly situated to take in the view. And because the balcony doesn't face the ocean, you can appreciate the view without baking in the sun. The unit itself was updated, clean, and nicely furnished. My kids loved the custom bunk room. My parents came to visit and stayed with us just one night, and while I wouldn't recommend it over a night or two, there plenty of space in the bunk room for my husband and I to sleep there with the kids while my parents had the master. The kitchen was well equipped and all of the cookware was in great condition, which seems to be hard to find in a rental. I would highly recommend this unit and plan to return next year!

Great place

The owner’s fixed up the place great. The beds were dreamy and having the bunk beds in the other room was fantastic. All the kitchen supplies and best was passing down supplies left from the prior stay persons. We returned the favor and left our supplies like sugar, coffee and foil. Our only challenge was check in. Please make sure you have the door key code. It took us over 3hr in the heat melting to get the owner as vrbo 800# was of no help. Once we got in wonderful and convenient. So simple to drive down to the boardwalk and back home.

Steve and Julie White grew up in the Baltimore area and met at the University of Maryland in the 1970's. They have 3 children, all grown.

We purchased our unit at Sandpiper Dunes after our first child was born with the hope of renting it and using it for vacations. We've done both since purchasing it in 1983 and we have great memories of spending time there w/ family. I've seen many beaches in my time and would argue that the Ocean City beach is one of the very best. I've not seen one that I like better.
