The cabin is fully stocked, cozy, newly remodeled, and sleeps up to 14 (4 bedrooms, 3 with 2 double beds, 1 with a single Queen bed). All beds and mattresses recently replaced! Stocked trout pond and creek right on the property. Huge Leather sectional/Leather Chairs. Two bathrooms- both remodeled. Dishwasher, Huge LG Fridge, LG Front Load Washer/Dryer, "70" Smart Streaming TV, Basic Cable, Fast Starlink Wifi for streaming/video calls, Blu Ray DVD player, Bluetooth Speaker for Phone/TV. Super close walking distance to shops and restaurants. Cozy wood-burning stove w/glass door, ample firewood included. Porch with pond, lawn, and mountain views. Weber Genesis propane grill, tank provided. Adirondack chairs and benches around pond. Good dogs stay free! Only charge for extra cleaning. NOTE: We also own and have available for rent the adjacent sunny 2BR/1BA cabin which sleeps up to 6 (2 bedrooms with queen beds and 1 hide-away couch bed). We had a wonderful weekend at this cozy, well-stocked cabin. The hosts were incredibly kind and provided a propane fire pit due to fire restrictions, which made for relaxing evenings. Everything was clean and thoughtfully prepared, and the location was ideal just a short walk to coffee shop, restaurants, and hiking trails. Between the peaceful pond, spacious porch, and wood stove, it was the perfect mix of comfort and nature.

Our stay was just great. We caught two fish and put them back. The only thing we could come up with that might be missing. It would be a clock in the bedroom. That’s all other than that. It was great. Highly recommended to anybody that wants to stay in Greer.

Clean and spacious.

Unless you have a big group and kids this may not be the right fit. Very close to quiet main road but porch views were of the street.

Greer Pond House

House was beautiful and as described. They did have a larger grill then whay was pictured so that was nice. The pond was great, but no one caught any. Great distance from the coffee shop and restaurant. House was very clean and perfect for a large group. We enjoyed our stay and had no issues.

Lovely cabin in the high country. Well stocked with everything you could possibly need. Owners are available to help with any problems that might come up. Definitely want to try to come up again.

It was my mom's 75th and I wanted to surprise her with a trip, she loved it. The house is very nice and clean exactly how described online:) would definitely stay there again.

Greer Ski Weekend

The house was beautiful. Awesome location, close to hiking trails, Sunrise Ski Resort, coffee shop and diners. Perfect space for family. Great outdoor space with trout pond. Cozy, clean, well-maintained. We would highly recommend and would love to come back again.

Cozy Cabin

Our stay was great, the cabin was nice and cozy an plenty of room for us. We had 7 afults and 3 kids. There was a large dinner table for everyone to sit and a big enough kitchen to prep and cook food for everyone. The wood stove was great, we spent alot of time talking around it. I would stay agin for sure

New Holiday Tradition

It was a wonderful experience for our family to spend Christmas in Greer this holiday season. The cabin was homey and comfortable and the location was perfect. The hosts provided easy to follow instructions and rules that made our 4 day stay a breeze. We hope to get our family together again next year and recreate memories!

Great property in the heart of town

Wonderful getaway

Great Value!

My family and I have been staying in Greer every October for over twenty years. It's our annual fishing weekend. I've rented everything from the Sleigh Cabin to Sargent's Cabin. 85 Main Street is by far the best value I've seen in Greer in the past few years. It's clean, spacious, and very well-appointed! We will be back many, many times!

Great stay for a large group

We had an awesome stay with a packed house (8 adults, 2 kids, and 2 dogs). This cabin is in the perfect location and easy to walk down to the coffee shop and the restaurants. The porch was really nice to relax after a long day of outdoor activities. The kitchen was fully stocked and the refrigerator was large. The hosts were really responsive and we’d definitely come back here. The only downsides were the porch leaks/floods during long or heavy rain periods and the pillows were very flat and could use replacing (or bring your own). These were minor compared to the overall awesomeness of this cabin.

Great Family Gathering Location

This cabin is one of the best "fully stocked" cabins we have stayed in. It was wonderful to have the little pond so close as we had our grandkids with us. It ended up we were there for Greer Days and were front row for the parade with the festivities just a quick walk up the road. The kids LOVED it and all the goodies that were tossed their way! The cabin provided lots of space for everyone to eat, play games and just hangout together, which was really important to us. The only downside might be that the beds were a bit small - but did accommodate us all which was nice. Everyone gave me great feedback and really enjoyed their stay. I think we will definitely look to go back, and I will look to also book the smaller cabin on the property. That is such a great option when you have a larger group. I would recommend that if you are like us and love being outdoors, bring your own outside entertainment (i.e. cornhole, paddle games, etc.), but they have tons of indoor games, puzzles, to keep all ages pretty entertained! Also, this cabin is in a more open space, so if you are looking to be nestled in the pines you may be disappointed. For us everything really worked out great and a great time was had by all. Chris and Kate really have thought of everything to make your stay homey and relaxed. Everything we needed was covered! We would definitely recommend this cabin as it is very "large" family friendly!

Great Location in Greer for Sunrise Skiing

We were a party of 3 adults and 4 tweens/teens. The house isn't massive, but it was perfect for our needs. Molly Butler's a barely 5 minute walk and it's a nice stroll on the path to the end of the road. We couldn't have asked for more for a ski weekend...except we were wistfully thinking how fantastic it would be if there was a hot tub after a day of skiing! The only thing I wish was different, and it's minor, is if we could have figured out how to turn off the exterior Christmas lights so we could have better night sky viewing.

Pre Christmas getaway 2023

We had a wonderful chilled time. The town was beautiful and we beat the crowds before Christmas rush. Felt like the town was there just for our little group. House was very accommodating and host very prompt with helping. Will make a plan to come back for the summer.

Our family lives in Tucson but we have family roots back East. Chris is an avid cyclist, UTV rider and snow skier. Kate loves to ski too and is also an avid gardener, reader, and nature lover. Nick will fish from sunup to sundown if permitted. He will argue that we really bought the property in Greer for the trout pond. He loves to ski and play baseball. Elizabeth is an artist and her favorite thing about Greer is watching the dogs be free to run and play. We love our dogs Jazzy Winnie and the Boston Red Sox. Go Sox!

We have been visiting Greer for years and it has been a dream of ours to have our own place here. Now we have a home away from home in a beautiful place that is cool and green in the summer, has fantastic fall colors in autumn, is close to skiing in the winter, and has peace and quiet year round.
