Phoenix X is one of the most popular condominium complexes on the gulf coast. There is a reason more vacationers stay at this condo than any other in Orange Beach.

There is not a better place to stay for you and your family than Phoenix X. There are plenty of activities including a weight room, racquetball court, sauna, indoor pool, hot tubs, tennis courts, and outdoor pool. There is even a nice gazebo area to relax under while your bbqing.

This is a Premium unit. Come relax on the spacious 8th floor balcony with breathtaking views of the gulf or sleep on the large king bed in the master with balcony access and marble countertop in the master bath! A Queen in the 2nd bedroom and 2 Queen beds in the 3rd bedroom. This unit has been upgraded to included new furniture, and new cabinetry. Tile backsplash, stainless steel appliances and granite countertops in the fabulous kitchen. We are conveniently located next to restaurants, grocery stores and not far from the outlet malls. Don't forget we are right next door to the Flora-Bama!

Lots of issues

Rating Details: The property manager was adequately helpful. The vacation rental was clean. I was happy with the location. I was satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: showed up 10/18 no a/c completely broken made call to # on fridge for maintenence. no call back. next day called again..still no call. went to front desk. Our unit not a Brett R. unit but thru Vrbo...she got someone on phone. someone finally came ..they had to change out whole a/c unit on wall..glad it was october and cool. Second, main tub does not drain well and toilet hard to 's in small b/room are horrible...size of laptop screen and remotes to not work well. What really did not set well, was that 2 days before arrival was contacted that due to construction..could not use pool. Doubt this was not known a lot sooner..Would have cancelled and booked at another location. The picture shown for living area is not what is there...couches different, no ottoman, and rug is not the same. The place was clean but a good deep cleaning would be good to get allt the sand, spilled drinks under glass topped tables would be nice, lots of cookware...yet frying pans in awful shape. Did not have a horrible time but will surely investigate more if ever travel there again.

Great location, housekeeping lacking

I attempted to message the host several times before our trip and did not receive any replies. Pan in the cabinet had awful looking dried eggs on it, animal white hair on the patio and the nasty rug which needs to be removed. Master shower curtain was not clean and had issues with the cable service and as per owner directions had to call the provider myself, which was very odd. Best thing about condo is the location.

Great Vacation

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We had a blast. Condo was everything you could expect. Property management was on point to answer all our questions when we arrived and gave us great insite on things to do in the area. We started the days watching the sun come up from the balcony. Kitchen was well stocked for making meals in the condo plus the grill area is large and has a prep area with a sink. Daughters and granddaughter had a blast on the beach and in the pool. Weather was perfect. It was really a family vacation to remember. Thank you all !!!

Vacation

Location was great, room was spacious. Shower curtain liner had mold on it, toilet would not flush, we had to manually flush it, stove worked but took a long time to heat up, some dishes were put away dirty, and there was no dumbbells in gym.

Dirty and uncomfortable

Rating Details: The vacation rental was very dirty. I was very happy with the location. I was very dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Not what we expected based on pictures. Unit was dirty, commode would not flush and tub was clogged. The furniture was stained and uncomfortable and the overall unit needs updating. Contact for the unit never answered. The cleaning company at best did a quick walkthrough as greasy fingerprints were still on the kitchen cabinets, smudged mirrors, and the tile floors were filthy.

Pictures must be a little dated as as some Of the furniture is different. It was decent clean, I was afraid from other reviews here, but it was decent. We did find previous tenants items under beds. Couch is very uncomfortable. The master toilet doesn’t flush every time and seemed to just run on its own periodically….all night. Pillows in the master bedroom were as thick as pancakes. So flat and a little yuck. Kitchen was missing pot holders, dish rags, we were not given a starter of dish liquid, missing measuring cups and measuring spoons. They were pretty stingy on bath towels we received a total of 6. Great location and we had plenty of room for our 6 who stayed. Overall we enjoyed our stay.

Condo nice and well stocked, pillows were awful

Could use more mixing bowls. Only big complaint was all the bed pillows were hard, unflexibe and very uncomfortable. Other than that very satisfied. Lots of beach chairs, toys we were unaware of which, if we'd known, would have saved us a lot of car space on our trip from Missouri

A Wonderful Location

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This condo is a extremely nice condo with a lot of room. The location is great and the views are phenomenal. Unfortunately, when we rented this condo, the cleaning service had not done a good job at all. There was sand on the floors, sand in one of the beds, the sink and tub did not drain well in the shared bathroom and in the master bath, the toilet barely flushed and there was a lot of green slime around the rim of the toilet. In both bathrooms there was mold all around the tops of the shower enclosure. On a good note, we enjoyed our time there for a week. The pool is a great size and it is a very short walk to the beach. This condo does sit a good distance from the parking garage so it is a nice little walk to your vehicle. I have reported all these problems to management. Because we like this condo so much, with great views and locations, we have already rented this same condo for next year. I trust management to address these problems by then and have all of these issues taken care of.

Beautiful Condo

The beds and all furniture were very comfortable. Room was nice and clean. The location was amazing. So much to do all within walking distance. Renting was so easy and even after hours when I texted a question, they would respond quickly. Loved this condo!

Ac filter was nearly black with dust. Old food on floor in pantry entire kitchen dining and living floor sticky. Old skippy cup found under bed. Stains all over the cushions on sofa and it smelled stinky. Bathroom vent leaking water. Mold on inside of shower curtain. Pots dirty. Dust caked on ceiling fan

The condo was spacious for the 6 of us, giving us privacy when needed. We enjoyed sitting out on the patio, but would've appreciated more comfortable seating. Would have also loved to have a Keurig instead of a full coffee maker, which we didn't end up using since we only had 1 coffee drinker. Thanks for the stay!

Unit 804 was absolutely beautiful and roomy

It was the perfect place to gather and make memories. It was very spacious and beautiful. Perfect for family gatherings. Small suggestion: the only thing we would change is to have better pillows. The beds were wonderful.

The most dirtiest and filthiest place I have ever experienced.

The mirrors on the wall when you first walk in had hand and smeared finger prints all over the mirror. The floor and carpets looked like they have not been moped air vacuumed in weeks. Mold on back of both shower curtains. Also have large amounts of hair and rust on top of both showers. The most disgusting place that I have ever encountered while on vacation. I would like to have my money and cleaning deposits returned. I may not be able to put you out of business, but I can affect your future business by the word of mouth and social media. Again the most disgusting place I have ever visited.

Reviewer Comments: We have stayed at Phoenix X for going on 7 years now (maybe more) and, unfortunately, this was one of our worst experiences. The property was definitely the worst-kept property we have stayed in. We were fine and did not feel the need to complain while there, however, I do feel it is important to give an honest review for future guests.

Loved the rental

Owner was awesome. We came into town early and we booked an early extra day with him. The condo was exactly what we saw in the pictures and description. We would stay in this property again. My whole family loved the experience and property. I highly recommend this property. We saw dolphins, sea turtles, sharks , and rays. We spent every day at the beach and never got tired of it.

Dirty

Property was just very dirty. Rug in living room was fairly gross and sandy. Tried to vacuum it ourselves but vacuum has no suction. Mold and mildew in both bathrooms Grimy tubs.

Great condo

Last minute rental but the property manager was absolutely amazing and helpful while finalizing rental details. Condo is more spacious than anticipated and beds were comfortable. Walking distance to good restaurants and nightlife.

Wonderful Vacation Rental

Overall we had a wonderful time and really enjoyed our stay. There were a few small things that needed cleaned or fixed, but they didn’t affect our trip. The condo was pretty clean other than the rugs in the living room and master needed vacuumed, and the living room mirrors looked like something was smeared all over them. The condo was very spacious with comfortable seating and beds. There were no screens on the patio doors, so you couldn’t open them to catch a breeze or listen to the waves. Each bedroom had tv/dish to enjoy while relaxing at night, though one bedroom had the cord stripped out so it was unusable. Again, no major issues, just a couple small things. Overall we truly enjoyed our vacation and would definitely stay again!

Family Vacation

This condo was nice and right by the beach. There were a few things that could of been better but overall it was nice. They were doing construction on the property and my 1 yr old grandson couldn’t take his naps during the day because of all the noise but would definitely stay here again.
