Our Inlet Cove cottage in West Beach is a peaceful spot, an 8-10 minute walk to the 10 miles of golden sand beaches of Kiawah. If you haven't been to Kiawah, you haven't been to the beach! It is truly a paradise of maritime forest, 30 miles of bicycle paths, unsurpassed river, ocean, and marsh views, and a beach that can be enjoyed at any phase of the tide. We fell in love with Kiawah, and we know you will, too!

If tennis and golf are your passions, you couldn't find a better place to enjoy each. Kiawah's 5 golf courses were designed by Pete Dye, Tom Fazio, Clyde Johnston, Jack Nicklaus and Gary Player. The famous Ocean Course was Host Site for the 1991 Ryder Cup Matches, the 2007 Senior PGA Championship, and the 2012 and 2021 PGA Championships.

Tennis Resorts online has rated Kiawah #1 in the 2015 list of Best U.S. Tennis Resorts. Both clay and hard courts are available, along with fully stocked pro shops.

Our cottage is fully equipped with everything you will need for an unforgettable stay. A 55 in. Samsung Smart TV in the living room is accompanied by a bluetooth capable speaker bar. The kitchen has been totally renovated (January 2015). Cable wireless internet service is available, too. You can watch the ebb and flow of the tidal creek in the backyard from the screened-in porch or deck, or sit in the double glider at the edge of the house. Inlet Cove boasts a 25 meter swimming pool and fishing/boat dock enjoyed by our guests at no extra charge. Come and see why Kiawah is our new second home!

Great stay

Great communication from the owner. House was easy distance to beach, pool, general store and a slightly longer bikeride to “town”. House has everything you need. Kitchen was well stocked with sharp knives and utensils. It was nice to be able to see where the tide cycle was just by looking out the back. Gas grill was clutch!

Excellent experinence

I can’t say enough wonderful things about this house. The owner thought of everything. The house was very well equipped and had plenty of towels and washcloths for all the rooms. The house was extremely clean and very well maintained. The owner had many games, puzzles and movies for us to use. The kitchen had nice dishes and pots and pans for our use. We will be staying here again and again.

Great Place

We had a wonderful time at the beach and exploring the area. Loved the house and it's location to the beach. Enjoyed the amount of space in the kitchen for cooking meals. Our host was fabulous.

Satisfied all of our needs

We found this cottagr to be a home away from home. From a full range of kitchen utensil's and dishes, beach towels, beach chairs and a cart, and starter supplies (generous), to a back porch table and chairs (the chairs could be more comfortable), a recliner, a kitchen table and chairs, and practically new appliances. We have been in various cottages seven times over the years, and this is our favorite!

Perfect Kiawah Island Cottage

What a perfect beach cottage on Kiawah Island! My husband, son and I stayed for four nights, and had the perfect getaway. We loved watching the sunset by the dock and riding bikes on the beach. Carol’s home is so cozy and, yes, Carol has thought of every detail to make her home as enjoyable as possible. We plan to stay at this home again in the future.

Excellent Stay Again

Great place to vacation. We stayed here two years ago and this year was as excellent as it was in 2021. Great location, very well equipped , very clean and hood access to the pool, beach and river.

Excellent Rental Experience

The property was extremely clean and updated and had all of the things we were looking for. Everything from the Weber natural gas grill to the lg washer and dryer gave us everything we needed to feel like home. Carol was great throughout the process and Inlet Cove is an amazing place to stay. We highly recommend renting this cottage.

Wonderful getaway on Kiawah

Fantastic cottage in Inlet Cove. Pristine, beautifully decorated, comfortable and quiet. We enjoyed the beach, riverview sunsets, miles of biking and convenient to kayaking. Welcoming owner and great communication. A much needed getaway enjoyed by all! Thank you. Hope to return.

Very nice

I found the property to be very comfortable well-stocked with all amenities necessary. Correspondence with the owner and property manager very accommodating with quick response. I’ve been going to the Kiawah Island yearly for over 10 years. This so far has been my favorite property. Hope to stay there again.

Wonderful Week

This house has everything you need for a comfortable stay. It is clean, well furnished, convenient for biking, enjoying the beach, walking, shopping in the Village, and relaxing. The drive to Charleston is interesting, especially with a stop at the Angel Oak. The photos of the home on line were accurate, and the entire process of renting was smooth. The owner and Beachwalker Rentals went out of their way to accommodate any need. I highly recommend this lovely vacation spot!

Beautiful and comfortable

We loved this property! The location was beautiful and very accessible to the beach, Night Heron park, and all of the bike trails. We saw lots of wildlife including alligators, herons, and bunnies. Quick drive to Fresh Fields village for provisions. The Inlet Cove community is quiet and gated. Communication with Carol was easy and clear. The cottage itself is well-cared for, and stocked with everything you could need including spices, laundry, cooking utensils (with sharp, nice knives), extra blankets. Very clean and comfortable. The layout is perfect for a family; there is a primary suite with an en-suite bathroom and its own balcony, and then two other bedrooms on the other side of the cottage connected by a jack and Jill bath. There were DVD’s, books, and games, and we loved a rainy day sitting on the screened porch. Absolutely recommend this lovely cottage!

Absolutely wonderful

This was a week’s vacation with our kids- we all loved it, and will definitely be back. The property was immaculate- not a house, but truly a home, in a very quiet neighborhood. It was very clean, equipped with everything you need to prepare meals at home, a gas grill and all the utensils and appliances you would ever need. It even had beach chairs and a wagon in the storage area! The location is really the best you can get- a 3 minute bike ride to Beachwalker Beach, and a 15 minute bike ride to Freshfields- restaurants and grocery store. Kiawah Island is gorgeous- unspoiled, with shaded bike lanes and several beautiful beaches. There is easy bike access to the Bohicket Marina and Seabrook Island, and equally beautiful and unspoilt island with shaded bike lanes. We also went kayaking and paddleboarding. I can go on and on about it, but this has been our best beach stay so far- and we have been to the Keys, Sanibel, Tybee, Hilton Head, Amelia islands and several Gulf coast beaches. No comparison, if unspoilt nature is what you are after. Thank you for hosting us, we really enjoyed our stay, and plan to be back!!

Great time in Kiawah

This was our second trip to Kiawah and we really loved staying in Inlet Cove. The community is gated, beautifully wooded/private and very convenient to Freshfields and road to Charleston. The Inlet Cove pool was never crowded and the community dock was a picturesque place to gather at sunset. We spent the majority of our time on the beach and biking around the island (and biking on the beach to Captain Sam's to see the wildlife, an easy ride from Inlet Cove) but the pool was refreshing at the end of the day and nice to have as an option. This property is a great value for Kiawah, with spacious living and dining areas and comfy sofa and beds. The pictures don't really capture how cozy it is. Having the space (and outdoor shower) underneath the unit made it very easy to store beach items and bikes - it was a quick 3 minute bike ride to the beach. Everything we needed to cook was present in the kitchen (laundry area was great too) and the updated bathrooms were very nicely done. Screened porch was a favorite spot and was kept cool by the ceiling fan. Lots of books and games, lovely decor, a very relaxing and comfy place to stay overall. If I had to make any recommendations, it would be that the owner update the TV in the living area as it is dated and does not have a great picture, but we don't really watch TV on vacation so it wasn't a big deal for us. The TVs in the bedrooms seemed brand new and definitely satisfied our needs. The owner was wonderful to work with and very attentive throughout the process. It is apparent that she loves her place and it is well taken care of. I would not hesitate to stay here again, and will likely be back next August! PS - dining at Chez Fish was great - She Crab soup was the best!

Sukhavati was truly paradise!

Sukhavati was truly paradise! It was our first time to Kiawah Island and we will be making this cottage a new staple in our family vacations! The booking process was seamless and Carol was extremely helpful during the process from beginning to end. The cottage literally had every amenity you could ask for! My husband is a self proclaimed cook and the state of the art kitchen offered every tool he needed to make a great meal! The grill was clean and conveniently located outside the screened in porch. The porch was an amazing place to have coffee in the morning and a glass of wine in the evening. We enjoyed listening to the sounds of nature and the ocean waves from the back deck. Our 11 and 9 year old loved the board games and the wifi for their technology and the Netflix feature was great for evening movies. The beach chairs and towels that were provided were much appreciated and handy! The beds were extremely comfortable and the sheets and towels were great quality. The location to the beach was a convenient 5 minute bike ride and Freshfields market was a nice bike ride too! Harris Teeters grocery store offered an array of fresh produce and seafood. We also went in to Charleston two days and it was a 40 minute trip. Very convenient! The civil war carriage ride is a must.... The cottage was very nicely decorated and well labeled and secure. The HD washing machines are great! We went home with a suitcase of clean clothes. We have rented from other properties through Vrbo and working with Carol and staying at this cottage was our best experience to date! We will be back!
