The Space:

Walk 500 yards to the ocean and sand with this terrific Night Heron Cottage, and take advantage of the screened porch and back deck for plenty of peace and quiet during your stay. Inside, the home offers attractive floors, tasteful decor, and tons of space. The living area is the perfect place to host big family events, enjoy homemade popcorn during a movie night with the flatscreen cable TV, or just curl up with your favorite novel while everyone is down at the beach. You'll love exploring the community, especially when you challenge a friend to a match on the shared tennis court.



What’s nearby:

Be sure to tee off next door at Night Heron Park Golf Course, or at any of the other courses that pepper the island such as Cougar Point and Turtle Point Golf Courses, both less than three miles away. For great food, family-friendly activities, and carriage tours, be sure to check out historic downtown Charleston, only 25 miles away! You can bike or drive to Freshfields village, about four miles away, where you’ll find some great restaurants, boutiques, and grocery stores for some fresh local produce. Just a bit further down the road is Bohicket Marina (about 5 miles away) for boat cruises, dolphin tours, live music, wine tastings, and more! And if you're wanting that morning exercise, you have over 30 miles of walking and bike trails that cover almost all of Kiawah Island.

Good house and location for price - perfect size for our family if 3. We loved being close to Night Heron Park and short walk to the beach (10 min). Also great central location on island and just a quick trip over to Freshfields. House was decently clean but a lot of the dishes were not super clean. I also found candy wrappers in bathroom drawers / behind the bed when we arrived. Beds were not super comfortable but livable for a few days. Washer dryer and dishwasher were all super loud. No hose at house to rinse off sand / beach items. Overall it was a good stay for the price point but don’t expect frills / extras.

The location of the property was excellent-within walking to Night Heron Park and beach. The house itself was clean but rather dated. The kitchen was clean but with sparse amenities. 3 mismatched wine glasses in various locations

The property was spacious, well appointed, clean and comfortable. The only thing we would have liked would have been a television in each bedroom. The host was very responsive, and we were able to resolve any minor glitches promptly.I would definitely choose 56 Inlet Cove again, and I would recommend it to friends and family.

The beach and the bike riding. That is why I come to Kiawah. Our stay was very comfortable when I wasn't doing those things! The home was in a great location and I was very happy with how easy the whole process was on the day we arrived. Thank you.

Fun beach bungalow.

Great communication, place was nice. Washer dryer are older and are loud, but otherwise neat clean and a nice walk to the beach. Would stay there again.

The host/property management group answered my questions promptly. Was able to drive right up to the guard station give them my address. Lock box at house was simple. No issues with our stay.

Nice place in a good location

We really enjoyed our stay on Kiawah. This property has most of the amenities that you’ll need and is about a 5 minute walk to the beach.

Loved the area. Beautiful beach, sunsets and easy to get to.

Vrbo is nice to work with. Easy transactions but fees can be high.

Lovely location and property

My friends and I were in town for a marathon, so convenience and comfort were the most important factors to us. We couldn't have been more pleased with the property and experience! We definitely recommend this property and hope to stay here again!
