Welcome to Rockland and Lamorna Cottage!
This 1880s home has been lovingly restored. The cottage offers a true getaway on a quiet South End street. It's a short walk to all Rockland has to offer - festivals, shopping, world-class museums, the water-front, several restaurants and the small public beach.
On the first floor, there is a Living Room with a sectional couch and chairs, a TV with internet hook-up and DVD player with an assortment of movies. There is also a large dining room with seating for 6, a gourmet fully-equipped kitchen with island, a 3/4 Bath (shower) and a laundry closet with full-size washer and dryer.
On the second floor, there are two bedrooms, one with a queen bed and the other with a queen bed and a twin. Both rooms have side tables, bureaus, table lamps and ceiling fans. There is also a full bath off the second floor hall with a deep soaking tub.
Off the kitchen is a deck with outdoor seating, a picnic table, gas grill and a small garden. The front yard is a sunny place to hang out on the Adirondack chairs.
The number of guests is limited to 4 plus up to 2 children (there is a pull-out bed in the Dining Room and a large couch in the Living Room). There are hardwood floors throughout.
There is free internet available and we are pet friendly. We charge $25 for each additional guest over 4 to cover linens and cleaning.

Comfortable stay in a great spot
This house was very comfortable and had everything we needed for our week long stay. Also in a really great spot to walk into Rockland for coffee, dinner or shopping.

This house is amazing! The kitchen is beautiful and so well stocked. Fantastic layout with so much light coming in. Love the location, only a few blocks from the ocean with wonderful walking paths. It felt like home and we hated to leave.

My daughter and I loved our stay. Juli is an excellent host and easy to contact. My daughter was able to work in the dining room while I took her dog into the also pet-friendly town. Perfect location. The binder full of suggestions for the area was appreciated. The home was exactly as described only better!

Great place to stay!
We had a really great stay. The house is very clean and updated and had a very well stocked kitchen. It was an easy walk to downtown Rockland. Would definitely recommend!

We enjoyed staying here. Clean, great location, just like home. Only thing was lack of space to hang clothes. Would stay here again.

Lovely cottage home
Family of 4 (older teens) were very comfortable here. Plenty of space and great kitchen. Remodeled nicely! Easy walk to downtown and waterfront.

Cute House on a quiet street
We had a lovely stay in Rockland. House was great. Nicely updated. Great Kitchen. We would definitely stay here again.

Amazing!
My family and I loved staying in this cottage. It was very clean and well appointed. The town of Rockland was cute and fun. We all had an amazing time and would happily make a return trip.

This is the quintessential Maine home and located in a perfect place in Rockland, ME for ease of experiencing the area. Just a couple of blocks away, one can find restaurants, museums, the shore, shopping and more. The neighborhood is quiet and conducive to good sleep. The home is beautifully clean and well stocked with amenities to accommodate a family for a week. It is decorated so charmingly and one feels they are truly living the essence of Maine. The owners answered all questions in a very timely manner. My family of three truly enjoyed the week we spent there.

Great time in Maine
Our trip was fantastic. The home was wonderful. It was in a perfect location, centerally located to all that we wanted to do. Rockland was super nice and super cute. Plenty to do and see. The home was very well equipped and very comfortable.

Good option
Nice house, very easy to relax in. Great laundry facilities which came in handy during rainy weather. Great location with easy walk to Rockland center and short drive to Camden.

Fall in Maine
Great cozy clean feel. Easy location. Wonderful kitchen with all the extras. Quiet neighborhood/ street. Loved the LPs!

Fun in Rockland
My husband and I rented the house as we visited our son in the area. This home is very comfortable with plenty of room and a very nice kitchen, great for cooking in. The neighborhood is super quiet and it’s an easy 10 minute walk to downtown Rockland. We would definitely recommend this home and would stay here again!

Stylish, comfortable & centrally located
This is our third time staying at this property. It's centrally located where we can walk to the village to see the museums, the harbor or take day trips to the beach. It's very clean, stylish and the property is well kept. Julie is very responsive specially during this year with the pandemic. I would stay here again!

First family trip to Maine
This was the first time our family visited Maine and we had a wonderful week! We loved the proximity to downtown and the little Sandy Beach. We took day trips to a number of places to explore lighthouses and even Acadia! The house was a great space for our family of 4 and we really appreciated the well-stocked kitchen for cooking at home. Highly recommend!

Great home in convenient location
We had a wonderful time during our weeklong stay. Conveniently located close to Rockland center and the ocean which made it easy to walk into town to get whatever we needed and enjoy the views. Home was very clean and well organized with everything we could need and very spacious for the two of us & our small dog (would easily accommodate 4 people). We would absolutely stay here again! Highly recommend.
