Enjoy watching the gulls feeding at night as the surf crashes into the sand in this newly renovated retreat featuring artwork of seaside villages from around the world, as well as local artists. Wake up early and you'll get a glimpse of the dolphins bringing on the new day!

All rates are subject to a departure cleaning, linen and reservation fee, 12.75% sales tax and a $79.00 Vacation Rental Damage Protection Plan. All fees and taxes are subject to change without notice.

We rent to family groups, married couples, or mature adults over the age of 25. We do not, under any circumstances, rent to groups for proms, graduations, college house parties, etc. Misrepresentation will result in immediate eviction without refund.

All prices and/or descriptions are subject to change. Although every precaution is taken, errors in prices and/or descriptions do occur on our web site and in printing. We reserve the right to correct any such error.

1. Damage Protection Insurance – For an additional $79.00, this plan covers up to $3,000 in unintentional damages to the rental unit that may occur during your stay. Report the damage to us, we’ll take care of the rest!
2. Security Deposit - $500 is immediately charged at time of booking. If the property is left undamaged, keys & parking passes returned, your security deposit will be refunded within 45 days after check out.

Beach Life Beauty!

Perfect location just over the sand dune in a lovely decorated well equipped beach apartment. Proximity to several great restraurants add to the enjoyment.

Lovely location and great view

We have stayed at The Breakers multiple times. Best view so far. Easy access to the beach. The condo has a nicely stocked kitchen for cooking meals. We also enjoyed lounging in the living area watching the ocean since it was so hot.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The condo was nice, not as clean as I would prefer, but I am picky. There was evidence of a pet having been there before us...food bowl and dog hair on the queen bed blanket...even though the realty company does not allow pets. Someone from the realty company came and changed the air filter in a very timely manner after we informed them that it had not been changed in over a year and was filthy.

Good beach week

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was somewhat dirty. I was more than happy with the location. I was satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Having stayed at the Breakers for the last 12 years this was my first stay in a condo on the first floor. My preference is to be higher up as it’s a better view. However this condo had high top chairs which helped. The condo floor was dirty, mostly sand. The TV in the living room was difficult to work and not updated. However, the Breakers has the best view and access to the beach. I’ve been happy with my 12 years of summer rentals through Cannon & Gruber.

Nice place and pictures accurate

We usually come to Atlantic Beach/Pine Knoll area once a year with our kids (6 and 3). This was a nice place and description and pictures were accurate. One minor con is the parking. We have a van (Odyssey) and it was a tight fit underneath the carport area. Other than that, nothing to complain about. It's close to the aquarium, but a little drive if you want to get to Food Lion or going back towards the bridge.

Everything you want in an ocean front condo!

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was very clean. I was very happy with the location. I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Enjoyed our stay at the Breakers at Beacon Reach! A great location for a quiet and uncrowned beach vacation yet close enough drive to fun activities, restaurants, beach shops and stores. The island faces south so you get both ocean sunrise and sunset to enjoy. The updated condo was comfortable and quiet with most kitchen amenities to satisfy your needs. As with most oceanfront properties, sliding doors to balconies can be difficult without constant attention to clean tracks. We had to work at resetting the screen doors but not a big problem. Our property managers were a great help, even arranging for a first level condo to replace our higher level reservation when the elevator was inoperable at the time of our stay. Thanks Cannon & Gruber!

Pictures are deceiving of condition

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We have been renting ocean-front condos for over 25 years. The pictures in this VRBO add are very nice, however, the sofa is invery poor condition. It was very uncomfortable; weak springs andno support. The freezer had ice trays because the ice maker waswas removed and not replaced. We would not rent this condo again. We did not let this deter our week's beach vacation butwanted to let others know of its condition.

We would definitely stay here again

We had a great time staying at this location visiting Pine Knoll Shores and would definitely stay here again. The kitchen had everything we needed and although it states to bring all of your own cleaning supplies, we were happy to find some items already there. So in return we left things to pass on as well. The view is amazing and the beach was beautiful! Parking is directly under the unit which was so nice when it rained, although backing in to the spot takes a little patience - but you can do it! Our kids seemed happy and comfortable in the two twin beds and the master bedroom bed was also comfortable. There are two Brita water pitchers for you to use and there were plenty of coffee filters for the coffee pot. So bring your coffee and reusable water bottles! We loved this area! Highly recommend checking out Shackleford Banks and Beaufort during your stay!

Not worth the $$$

Rating Details: The property manager was adequately helpful. The vacation rental was somewhat dirty. I was more than happy with the location. I was somewhat dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Lightbulbs were missing from lamps. No batteries in TV remotes which we ended up buying for the rental unit. The master bedroom gets very hot at night. Dust everywhere and the air filter looked like it had not been changed in 5 months. Kitchen needs more utensils for cooking such as graters, blender etc.

The Breakers, Unit A-4

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was very clean. I was very happy with the location. I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The location is fantastic, the unit was in much better condition than previous years. The unit could have been cleaner, a good, comprehensive cleaning was needed. The mattresses on the twin beds were sagging and uncomfortable and typically I can sleep on anything! The property was well equipped with dishes, pots and such and the unit was nicely decorated. We would definitely rent this unit again. Having the low entry shower was a key component, but a few well placed grab bars would be recommended. The Real Estate Company staff we once again extremely affable and responsive to inquiries. This elevator went out of order for about a day during our stay again, but it was fixed in less than 24 hours. I'm glad we were on the 1st floor during this time instead of on the third floor as in the past. Overall a wonderful experience, kudos to the staff at Cannon & Gruber!

Breakers vacation

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We have rented places from Vrbo for about 10 years . This beach front property was the closest ever to the beach . The view is amazing . If you worry about beach access this is it an very easy track . Just steps away . The condo was clean . The furniture is getting somewhat worn but ok . The cupboard with the mugs had such a musty smell I could not stand to open it . My husband fixed the patio doors and I used wd40 now they work ! The parking space is so tight if someone parks in the space behind you cannot get in . We have a car if you have suv or bigger forget it . We parked somewhere else one night and was threatened with a ticket . Hubby tried to explain the situation to the keeper she finally understood Would I stay again ? Sure we love the beach we love the location of the condo . We stayed at Indian beach in September prior for a fourth of the cost . This is the most I have ever paid for a beach condo anywhere. I had email owners to make sure there was an elevator, my husband is getting hip replacement ion weeks . So yes there is an elevator, but it did not work until the day before we left . I see lack of maintenance in the condo . If you are looking for a non crowded beach for summer this is the place . The minus parts never spoil our vacation so you choose.

Great property!

We greatly enjoyed our stay! The place was updated and very clean. The view was beautiful! The kitchen was well stocked with pots and pans and cooking utensils. The only negative was that mattresses on the twin beds were not very comfortable. I would definitely recommend this property!

Good Times

Great property in a wonderful area. It was the perfect size for us. Mostly nice and clean. There were a couple areas that could use a little more attention such as under the couch. I'd say more of an area to pay more attention to and not so much a complaint. This is a super nice property.

Relaxing and Great Views!

The condo was perfect for my husband and I to get away during COVID-19. It was very sparsely populated and we had most of the beach to ourselves. Condo well equipped and decorated.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: I’ve rented this unit before and have always enjoyed staying there. Our vacation was cut short by hurricane Dorian which nobody could have prevented. The only complaint I have is someone in another unit was doing some sort of renovation work. The saw or some other power tool was quite loud and vibrated the entire building. This would start around 7AM and continue until a little after 11PM.

Family Beach Week

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Our family of four stayed hear in 2018. It was wonderful. The location is private, quite, and peaceful. The multiple swimming pools made for new experiences when we had enough of the beach and sand for the day. Of course, a day trip to fishing at Bogue Inlet Pier, another to the Aquarium, and it was about as perfect as a beach week as we can imagine. Almost a year later and the kids (age 6 and 5) still talk about sitting on the balcony in the evening, watching the night sky with the sea breeze blowing. What a great time. Also, don't forget to go out and hunt ghost crabs at night...all you need is a flashlight!
