"Residents Only" street so should be no tourist traffic and no tourist noise. FREE on-site, off-road parking for 3 vehicles. Two living rooms. 10 foot ceilings. Unique architecture. Chef's kitchen. Granite counter tops. Stainless appliances. Free Wi-Fi. Two OnDemand HDTVs. Relax on wrap around Old-World balcony and patios overlooking valley, Pikes Peak Cog Railway, and Ruxton Creek. Garden of the Gods view. Captivating views of city lights, surrounding mountains, scenic rock formations, and towering pines. Lovingly remodeled and renovated over the years. Gather with family & friends to relax and rejuvenate.

Hot tub is located in separate vaulted studio building behind and above main home. OS windows. 100% privacy.

*NOTE: Hot tub is cleaned & sanitized between each guest reservation by a separate licensed & professional hot tub contractor, not the housecleaner.

Children must be supervised at all times and are on property at Guest’s own risk. There are multiple steep terraces with no railings.

Our calendar is updated in real-time and our nightly rates are accurately displayed. Simply enter your desired dates, correct guest count, and click "Book Now".

*Base rate is for 2 guests; each additional guest is $25/per night.

*Maximum number of people on site is 8 (eight), per City of Manitou Springs.

Great location

Wonderful property. Well stocked with everything one might need. Location was fantastic, close to cog railway, hiking, and an easy walk into town.

Loved it!

Very clean, well stocked with towels, kitchen pots, pans, crock pot etc. beautifully decorated for Christmas. Perfect location to walk to Pikes Peak Cog, Barr trail and Manitou incline.

Cozy home and great location

We enjoyed our stay, with beautiful views from the balcony, and a very serene and quiet area! located at the foot of the Manitou incline and Barr trail. The home was cozy and very clean. The stairs in and out were a workout, especially after hiking, but we made it! Host was great at communicating and accommodating us!

Great location

Loved the location in Manitou Springs! We did the Incline and the Cog Railway; both were within walking distance which didn’t require us to drive and pay for parking. The home was clean, had all the amenities we needed and fun detail. The hot tub was a wonderful perk.

Fall in Manitou Springs

This house is in a gorgeous location. It has easy access to some breathtaking hiking and is close to town while being far enough to enjoy solitude in the evening. It is an interesting 100+ year old house, so know that you will be climbing tall stairways with small steps. The owners are awesome and very responsive. We would definitely stay here again!

Wonderful location!

This is a beautiful property! It was relaxing sitting on the deck and enjoying the mountain views. The location is perfect for walking to the incline and cog railway. The amenities were top quality and exactly as described. Thank you for an enjoyable and comfortable stay!

Amazing views at this historic home

The house was exactly as described with really cool historic details and decor - and lots of stairs. The kitchen and bathrooms were stocked with all we needed and the wraparound porch with views was a major highlight and where we spent most of our time. Would definitely recommend as long as you’re okay with lots of stairs.

Very cool place -easy access and perfect for all activities around Colorado Springs -Great Host -Easy Peazy like all rentals should be - No brainer if you have a group of 5-6 and like being in a little patch of heaven in the heart of the mountains

Nostalgic

This was a great location, fun, and quirky house. It was a centralized place that allowed my family to easily get to our adventures. Our host Jean was easy to reach and quick with responses. The only thing preventing a 5 star review was the air conditioning in the house. The house was warm during the day but the temps quickly dropped as the sun went down.

Great stay! Lovely property!

Quaint historic cabin! Enjoyed coffee on the side deck in the morning and wine on the front porch in the evenings. Great workout with all the stairs. Lots of beds to choose from. My family loved the upstairs bathroom. Great place for a mobile family!

Location, location, location

If you're doing the incline - stay here. If you're going to ride the cog - stay here. Don't want to pay for downtown parking stay here. Very, very charming house. Nicely stocked kitchen & laundry. Would definitely stay again and I recommend highly!.

Great stay on the Cog Railway

Property was perfect for our group of six. We could walk to town, easily, and got a work out on the hill back to the house. Enjoyed hiking trails and Cog Railway nearby. Loved the deck for morning and evening nature watching.

Great stay!

We had a great time at the property. The steps are very steep so anyone with mobility issues would have a difficult time accessing the house. The only problem we had was that the air conditioning unit in the master bedroom would only blow hot air. Luckily we spent the days exploring the town and the evenings were cool enough to open the windows and turn the fans up.

Charming mountainside house

My best friends and I booked this property for our annual Girls Trip and couldn’t have been happier. It’s very cozy with charming decorations and great views. Our only complaint is that the hot tub takes 12+ hours to heat (to a really hot temperature). So we were only able to use it for one of our two nights as it was heating the entire first night. It would have been helpful to have it started earlier on the day of our arrival. Regardless, we would book the property again and recommend it to others.

Very charming home!

Very charming home! We especially enjoyed the hot tub and beautiful view from the front balcony. Appliances all worked great, and the bathrooms were very clean and luxurious. The kids loved sleeping upstairs, and we enjoyed the extra living room on the second floor by the master bedroom. We stayed in July, and needed the windows open and appreciated the fans at night, but it was still pleasant temperature-wise. Jean, the host, was absolutely lovely to speak with when we had questions, and was very responsive and easy to reach. We loved it and had no issues whatsoever, but the only thing I will say is there are a lot of stairs in this home, which may cause some with limited mobility to have issues. The master bedroom mattress was also a bit soft for my husband's and my taste, but that is just a matter of preference. Thank you so much for a wonderful stay in Manitou Springs! We will be back!

Beautiful location

This is an excellent location close to the cog railway and manitou incline. The house is as described in the listing, and the patio has great views. I would stay here again.

As a little girl growing up in western Kansas, my mother and I would take several trips a year out to Colorado, riding the Cog Railway every August. As the Cogway traveled toward the summit of Pikes Peak, I remember many times gazing over at this particular cottage situated on the mountainside dreaming about what it would be like to own that home. After being in the previous owners family for over 100 years, I magically had the opportunity to purchase the historic hillside home. Spending time at the vacation home has brought back special memories of the time I spent here with my mother (who has sadly passed away). I hope all guests who stay here will feel how special (in so many ways) this property really is.
