The atmosphere and location of this cabin provide the perfect getaway for a number of years now. Nestled into the trees and well off the roadway, the privacy abounds. Townsend is a small town that is a gateway community to the National Park. To visit the area opens up the entire park to visitors. This cabin has a warm interior with a huge main living space and stacked stone fireplace. The french doors that lead to the screened in back porch add a bright and inviting outdoor living area to the already spacious interior. Most guests spend an abundant time on this porch year round!
The open living area is perfect for two couples or a small family. Cabin sleeps four and has one full and one half baths.
Laurel Mist has become a couples and family cabin.
There are no steep steps to climb, or difficult terrain tackle to get to this special place. There are no tall decks to fear
Flat access and paved roadways make it Motorcycle friendly. The setting brings out the nature lover in all who visit. The cabin location and layout has earned it a very active repeat business and 5 star reviews!

This is our fourth stay at this property. It is always clean and comfortable and the location is perfect for sightseeing in the Smokey mountains as well as for golfing. The host has thought of everything including coffee supplies and laundry detergent pods. We will be returning.

This is our second stay here. We loved the screened porch for coffee in the morning. Our pup was very comfortable, we were very comfortable, and can’t wait for our next visit.Three trips to Cades Cove leaving about 6 pm and we saw 24 bears! That is a record for us.

Host always responded promptly to questions before our stay, which was very nice. Cabin was as described, stocked well with basic essentials and in a beautiful setting close to town. Enjoyed the screened in patio, although it would have been nice if there was a light on the fan above the table out there. We enjoyed our stay and it was very senior dog pet friendly.

We didn’t get to stay this time due to sickness but Cyndie has always been accommodating and we will stay again!

Cabin was very nice and suited our needs. It was clean and everything was as advertised. We saw a deer about 20 feet away from the deck while we had coffee one morning.

I have been selling Smoky Mountain Real Estate since 2007 and managing Smoky Mountain Rental Properties since 2014. As the Owner and Principal Broker of a Townsend based Real Estate Firm, I have been in and out of hundreds of rental cabins. Feeling strongly that people want to be treated to a clean and well stocked cabin in a private surrounding, my husband and I decided to see if our theory was correct. We purchased our first cabin in 2014 and put it in service. The demand was overwhelming, and we soon purchased our second and third. The owners of Laurel Mist purchased this cabin from us and we agreed to manage the rental of this cabin as well, since it has the same private setting and warm interior decor that our guests enjoy. We felt Laurel Mist was a perfect match for our clients.

The atmosphere and location of this cabin provide the perfect getaway for the owners. Nestled into the trees and well off the roadway, the privacy abounds. Townsend is a small town that is a gateway community to the National Park. To visit the area opens up the entire park to visitors. This cabin has a warm interior with a huge main living space and stacked stone fireplace. The french doors that lead to the screened in back porch add a bright and inviting outdoor living area to the already spacious interior.
It was for the owners, a perfect choice to enjoy themselves, and to share with other guests to the area.
With strong ties to UT, this home away from home was a no brainer!
