This cozy 2 bedroom unit at the Villas of St. George is located right in the heart of St. George Island, within biking/walking distance to shops, recently renovated pool, the boardwalk along the gulf, grocery/convenience stores and the iconic lighthouse. Sleeps 6: 1 King, 2 twin and a full pull out sleeper sofa.

This fully-furnished villa features 'beachy' decor, comfortable luxury bedding, 2 full baths, washer/dryer, and a well furnished full-sized kitchen. A newly renovated pool and outside grills are also available for guests and at their disposal.

The island offers water sport rentals, bicycle rentals and path, fishing either by the bay, gulf or by charter boat, shopping, art galleries and antique shops. In nearby Apalachicola there are countless options for shopping, restaurants serving local fresh oysters, shrimp and fish, and museums to explore or take a day trip by boat to nearby St. Vincent Nature Preserve.

A perfect family or couple getaway! Please ask about monthly specials for fall/winter. Please note when you enter villa there is a flight of steps to the main living area and an additional flight of stairs leading up to the bedrooms and bathrooms/laundry area.

Adorable Beachfront Villa

We enjoyed our short stay here(had to evacuate due to hurricane) Very cute decor, awesome location, and Jenny the property manager is a joy to work with. Highly recommend this place. Our only complaint is not being able to stay the whole week.

Great place

We arrived and the same night we learned that there is a mandatory evacuation due to the possible hurricane. Great communication with manager of the property Jennifer. She was in contact with us all the time. We returned after 2 days and were able to stay at the property for any extra time we missed due to the evacuation. The property is right on the beach, pool was clean and warm. The apartment was great for our family of 4. Walking distance to all restaurants and stores.

Awesome Location

We absolutely loved this condo! The views are stunning from the balcony! So close to the beach! The location is super convenient. Very clean and super cute decor! Jennifer was an absolute delight to work with! You wont regret staying here. I will be coming back for sure! Best location and price ive ever seen on the island.

Great location

In reviewing other areas to stay on this property, this villa was one of the few that seems to be dog friendly, and that was very much appreciated. The view was perfect, as we enjoyed having two balconies to overlook the beachfront, and the location was within walking distance of several of our new favorite places to go. The interior could definitely be updated and a few areas could use a deeper cleaning. However, overall it was a great place to stay. Additionally, our property manager was exceptional!

Location Location Location!

This villa is ideally situated on the beach with an amazing view and just blocks from coffee, donuts, restaurants, groceries, and shopping. The property is older, so don't expect a spotless, flawless villa like you get with new construction. For the view and the location, I feel like it's appropriately priced, and it was worth it to us to have easy beach access and impeccable sunrises and sunsets. Jenny was very responsive before, during, and after our stay. I'm not sure if this is mentioned anywhere but there are two staircases for the property and 2 steps into the front door. The staircase at the front door takes you up to the villa's main floor and there's another to get to the bedrooms. There are railings, and they're well-lit but for anyone with mobility issues, just take note. This was my first time in SGI and the villa was exactly what we needed. I'd definitely rent it again.

Awesome Place

Jenny, Property Manager was awesome from the beginning of planning our trip to the end. Love the condo and the whimsical decor! Perfect location on the beach. Walking distance to all restaurants and shops. Planning to return next year or maybe sooner.

Great Family Vacation

This property was perfect for our first visit to Saint George Island. Loved the proximity to great dining options, convenience stores, and the lighthouse and park. We will definitely be back and would stay at this property again.

Great time and relaxing accommodations

SGI is a great vacation spot...amazing fresh fish, beautiful beaches and year round amenities that will make any traveler happy. A special shout out to our property manager Jenny....the best (by a long shot) we've ever had. She bent over backwards to meet our every request and is a delight to get to know. We look forward to seeing Jenny again in a future trip!!

Comfort Condo by the Sea

Property is spacious, clean and comfortable. The sound of ocean waves rolling in right outside your balconies is the best way to fall asleep. Easy access to the beach with a secure gate. Well stocked kitchen with dishes, pans and utensils. A wonderful place to spend a oceanfront vacation.

Disappointed!

Aside from the poor taste in decorating, the condo needs a deep cleaning, mold removal ( inside guest bath tiny closet had mold one entire wall, in major need of update of everything including appliances ( fridge very old with no ice maker) and furniture (upholstery dirty), tile and too many things to list here. The banister was loose from wall, no bathmat until we ask for one, and guest mat was dirty with blood. Vague tv instructions (had to call for help), very little silverware, master bed needs new mattress and overall feel like it was overpriced for what we paid. Do not rent this condo!

Beachy Old Florida - A Nice Change of Pace

While in need of a little updating, this condo had a very “beachy” decor and feel to it, that took us back to “old Florida.” That old Florida feel surrounds you on St. George Island, and was one of the things we were looking for on a 25th anniversary trip. The condo was very clean, although there were signs of previous moisture/mildew in one closet which did not appear to be an ongoing issue. The area was quiet and peaceful, and made for a very relaxing stay. Overall, a very nice change of pace from the typical Florida beach vacation.

Relaxing on the beach

This was a perfect place for my husband and me to spend a relaxing week at the beach. Jenny was very responsive, answering our questions quickly. Gorgeous location, right on the beach. What a view from both the living area and the bedroom! I wish there was a way to upload my short video of the main floor of this place. Whimsical décor! The only concern for some people is the stairs. The door opens to a flight of stairs to the main floor, with a second flight up to the bedrooms and bathrooms. Not a problem for us, but could be a consideration for some. It was our first time to St George Island. We rented bikes and rode into the state park, walked the beach, and read books in the sun. St George is sleepy, especially in October, which was perfect for us. The place was walking distance to all the restaurants, shops and the lighthouse. If you can get up early enough, be sure to get some doughnuts at Weber's.

Excellent stay

Great stay in a great location in SGI. Vrbo check in process has some bugs to work out, but was able to reach the property manager instantly. Highly recommend for families of 4 with younger kids. Parking is great, beach access is easy, and quick access to shopping and restaurants.

Paradise

The property was perfect for our needs. To be able to walk out onto two balconies, one on each floor, and be able to breathe that fresh air and hear the waves - what a privilege. I could stand at the kitchen preparing food and look straight out onto the beach and Gulf waters. Best of all, we could step outside and be on the beach in a few steps, and I could walk for miles along the waters' edge. The State Park is just a few miles down the road - definitely worth visiting. The manager was very responsive and helpful.

Great location

The location and views of this unit could not be beat. The pool and beach are superb. The beds were pretty comfortable. It is on the second and third stories of the building (with both bathrooms being on the third story), though, so if you have mobility issues, this is not the rental for you. We did not have any problems with it, but it could be an issue for some. Some of the decor and appliances are pretty dated, but all seemed to work. We had issues with the living room TV and DVD player, and the wifi was pretty much non-existent, but we made do--those were not deal breakers for us but could be for others. The master bedroom TV worked just fine. It was pretty musty smelling when we arrived but it aired out when we opened up the sliding doors. Also, several of the dishes needed to be washed before we could use them. It should be noted that we did not reach out to the property manager regarding these issues because they were not huge issues for us, but the property manager was very responsive prior to our arrival, so I'm sure these issues would have been addressed if we had reached out. Overall, we've had nicer rentals, but the view from the balconies and the location on the Island would make us strongly consider a return trip to A-6!
