Single Family Beach House: Divided into four units. THIS IS UNIT ONE, ISLAND CLUB 1.

Well-Appointed Kitchen: Dishwasher, stove, oven, microwave, refrigerator. Keurig and drip coffee makers.

Living Area: Open concept to kitchen and dining room. Italian leather, power reclining sectional sofa, 65” smart TV with streaming (Netflix, Disney+, Paramount+, FUBO). No cable TV.

Master Bedroom: Queen bed, 14” memory foam mattress, en suite bathroom, 50” smart TV.

Second Bedroom: Two bunk beds (10” memory foam mattresses), 50” smart TV, sleeps 4.

Bathrooms: Massaging shower heads.

Accessibility: NO STAIRS. Parking for 2 vehicles.

Location: East end of the island, Approximately 1 mile from grocery stores, restaurants, bars, gift shops.

Outdoor Living Space: 300+ sq. ft. covered oceanfront deck.

Provided: Bed linens, bath towels, beach chairs, beach towels, starter supply of paper products.

Private Washer & Dryer: Available for use.

No Smoking inside the building. Front and back porch are permitted.

NO PETS: strictly enforced, $75 per pet per day fine.

Everything was fine except mattress in Master bedroom. Too soft and rolls both people to the middle. Very uncomfortable.

Great spot!

Our family of 5 really enjoyed our stay here. It was spacious, comfortable, and had everything we needed. Being able to walk out a few steps on to the beach was incredible. Being on the beach and having a bathroom and kitchen so close was very convenient. Would stay here again.

Great getaway!

Location was amazing! The owner carefully considered so many extras that I brought but didn’t need. Super clean and very comfortable. The binder was a wealth of information including restaurant menus, things to do. If you go, don’t miss the State park and the lighthouse museum. And we rode out the outer bands of Hurricane Florence and still had a wonderful visit. Water spouts, tornado warnings! You won’t be disappointed! …

Upstairs guests

Was the only negative. We heard every footstep, sliding door, open and close, dogs barking and jumping around, and toilet flush. A couple of carpets would help. Never the less it wasn't enough to ruin our vacation, just annoying.

A great beachfront option for a smaller group

A very comfortable (i.e., great mattresses!!!) beachfront option for a smaller group. There were four of us (3 adults and one 7 year old) and it was the perfect size.We had to other adults that came to eat meals with us and even that was comfortable. The gazebo is a great place for morning coffee and being beachfront at an affordable price was the icing on the cake. Be aware that it is a four unit building and there is some noise from the unit above, but it was not anything that kept us awake. We brought my 97 year old Mother and the one level and one step up to the unit were selling points or us. The icing on the cake was that we left a very important bag of that included my mother's credit card, house keys, etc., The cleaners found it and Rayna had it mailed to us at no charge. A++

Steps from the beach!!

Everything about our stay was awesome. Rayna was on top of everything regarding check-in and check-out and there was no need to contact her during our stay. The unit was clean, well stocked, the AC worked well, and the beds were comfortable! The location of the property, less than 50 steps from the beach is unbeatable!! We have an 8 month old grandson , and it was so convenient to get him to and from the property to the beach! Will definitely stay here again!!

Perfect Stay for the Family

We loved our stay at the Island Escape in SGI! Our only regret is that we didn’t book to stay longer! The owners were quick to respond to any of our questions. The unit was perfect for our family because of its easy access to the beach and there were no stairs. The fenced in patio was perfect for our toddlers. The check out process was easy as well! We’ve already been discussing when we would like to return! We would like to brag on the following ⬇️ • Welcome basket. • Streaming services including Disney+ for our toddlers. • The kitchen had a Keurig and a regular coffee pot • Beach chairs that we were able to use instead of having to rent them. • Ample seating on the patio and in the dining area.

Just right!

My dear friend and I stayed her for 4 nights. We are ages 75 and 85- our unit was steps from the car and steps to the beach. Also,no stairs! It was clean and well stocked. Not fancy but just right!

Hi! My name is Rayna and I am thrilled to be your host. I have been in event planning and management for most of my life and I’m happy to be able to offer my second home as a part-time rental. I have lived in Florida since grade school and married the boy next-door. We just celebrated our 22nd anniversary and have two beautiful daughters. We also have two amazing rescue dogs! I love all things related to Florida including sunrises and sunsets, fishing, boating, swimming, beaching, sunbathing , coconuts, flamingos, and flip-flops! I thank God every day that I live in this amazing state and I can’t wait to share a little part of it with you!

St. George Island is an amazing place. It’s a little over 20 miles long and half of that is the state park. It’s not glitzy and there are no frills. St. George is an island that has stayed true to its natural charm. Pristine, natural, and undisturbed are all words to describe this unique place. Sea turtles are king of the island and all of the residence are big on nature. You will fall in love with Island Escape as soon as you arrive. You can hear the roar of the ocean and see the waves from the inside as well as on your spacious ocean front deck. The private gazebo is amazing. We have had many weddings here! And many anniversaries to come! Private beach house living without the expensive price tag. You can take amazing long walks on the beach or fish right on the surf. You can either enjoy the peace and solitude or go on an island adventure! Couldn’t get any closer to the sand if you tried! Newly decorated and brought up to date with smart TVs throughout, there is something to enjoy or do for everyone! It’s everything you need on our amazing little island, truly living up to the name Island Escape!
