My husband, daughter, and I just celebrated my 50th birthday this past weekend. The house was perfect for us and the view of the gulf was incredible! We were just steps from the beach! We enjoyed the pool every day as well! They had everything we could have needed and the beds were comfortable too! We would definitely stay here again!

Great property and clean. The only negative thing I would say is theres a lot of sugar ants on the patio downstairs and around the pool.

Had to step over to garden hose by the front door. The lower sliding door had rotted out wood stick for the door lock and sliding door had no outer door handle. Everything else was great with a great view of the beach and ocean.

The housing and location were perfect for us. The decor was beautiful though not set up for young children in that there are quite a few glass top tables, but even so we had no issues. Loved having the pool and the proximity to the beach. The kitchen was well stocked with cooking utensils, which I very much appreciated. The second downstairs bedroom actually had a bunk queen bed with trundle instead of a single trundle bed as was in the pictures. The beds were very comfortable. Would absolutely stay again!

This beach house was perfect for our family holiday weekend! From the views to the easy beach access. House was very clean upon our arrival. Access code sent to before so there wasn't any stopping anywhere for codes. I highly recommend this rental. We definitely will be coming back!

Communication was clear and the check in and check out process seamless. The setting was perfect, view and beach access were exceptional.

Great beach view from the private pool. Plenty of beach toys. Maint very prompt in fixing missing slats on curtain rod. Recommend owner removing primary bedroom slat curtains ( they don’t rotate well to slide open and back) and sheers and place darkening curtains. Was told there is a work order for the broken sliding glass handle in primary room. Light comes in with the sunrise. Beautifully appointed house with top end beach decor. Very clean, great family vacation and memories.

Just a fantastic location on the beach for our family with 5 children. House was in good condition and well stocked. The mermaid table wasn’t really appropriate for our family, but we just kept it covered. Also the washer wasn’t working properly, but with spi linen exchange it wasn’t a huge deal.Overall, we loved it.

Superb location, on a quiet and beautiful section of the beach. Easy walk to a few restaurants, cute house that had all amenities necessary. Patio furniture was all broken, upstairs and down, and moved out of the way so was not useful. We had to go buy beach chairs to use as patio chairs. That was a bummer. Couch badly needs replacement, and I highly advise bringing a couch cover like I did. These issues though did not keep us from having fun. Overall great place and had an amazing stay in Padre!

2025 Vacation Getaway

We loved the house, it was perfect for the my husband, our best friend, & myself plus it is spacious enough for 8 adults with no problem. When we decide to return to South Padre, I will definitely be booking this same home if it’s available!!

Beautiful views

Great location, beautiful beach views. Everything was just like the pictures showed. Plenty of room for my family to spread out. I would definitely stay here again.

Wonderful location! We really enjoyed the private pool and being steps to the beach. The only downfall was that the next door neighbor was having a pool installed during our stay. The constant construction noise was a little disruptive to our "vacation mode". Other than that, we will definitely return to the Good Hope House!

Beautiful floor plan

The kitchen was gorgeous, the bedrooms are so elegant. The home is very spacious yet cozy.

Lights not working needs improvements to wals doors trimming exc. Doesn't look anything like the pictures... some how missing windows... from what is advertised... overall unsatisfied.. no address to the property... only to check-in and in check in no help.

Beautiful place and location was great! Needs some work! Dryer didn’t work, leaving our clothes soaking wet. Couch is so old and crusty looking. We didn’t want lay down or relax on it as it was gross not to mention uncomfortable! The outdoor table only had 3 legs attached, the 4th leg was there only to balancing the table. The 2nd room downstairs had hard beds. I will say the unit was clean and the company managing the VRBO was fabulous! Owner should invest in their property!

Don’t try and close the blinds in the master. They are only 1/2 there

Great Location

Has great access to the beach. Easy to move back and forth between the beach and house with our kids. (ages 9-9months) The pool was cleaned while we were there and we were able to switch out towels which was nice.
