Girls weekend

The home is beautiful with lots of woods and right on the golf course, it was very clean and had everything you needed. We saw deer every day roaming on the golf course, it was so beautiful. Marshall was great to work with, Even gave us a later check out. We will definitely will rent this house again.

Great home in a spectacular location

My mother, dog and I stayed here for a few days to enjoy the fall leaves and weather of the surrounding area. The house was comfortably furnished and lots of kitchen items provided. We loved the gorgeous deck with the mountain view and trees surrounding the home. Sunroom was amazing and when inside we enjoyed three walls of windows to continually take in the view. Would love to come back and stay again.

Annual summer trip to sapphire valley

We enjoyed our stay at this home. Location was awesome. Enjoyed sitting on the porch. Saw deer and a fox in the evening. We would definitely return again. Communication was the best and the supplies at the house were very nice

Mountain Lodge

The cabin is nicely appointed ; it is very dark inside, needs artificial light all day; the photos show a bright living room and kitchen, but that is not so ; the refrigerator was full of food and beverages therefor leaving lesser space for the guest; the kitchen cabinets were also full of stuff ; the location of the cabin is quite isolated and there is no place to walk with a dog except on the street ; for those reasons I shall not rent the house again,

Exceptional house and property

This house was exactly what we were looking for. We felt as if we were staying at the home of friends! You can tell that they are all about family. It is very quiet and comfortable. The communication with Marshall was outstanding, which made our stay all the more enjoyable. The home is extremely nice, clean, and very well-stocked with all the essentials. The view of the golf course and mountain across the way was so pretty and very relaxing to view from the wonderful “mountain room,” or the deck. We absolutely plan to return!

Family vacation

We arrived earlier than expected and Marshall accommodated us with no issues. The home was clean, comfortable and beautiful. Of course the mountain room was our favorite spot! We spent most of our time there playing the board games readily available. It was easy to feel right at home. Very grateful that we got to enjoy our time there and were hoping to visit again.

Mountain View Vacation

Will definitely be returning to this little slice of heaven. The home was beautiful, clean, and provided everything we needed to make our vacation perfect! Beautiful house and view

We were there for a family wedding in October. The house was beautiful and very well equipped. It was nice to get up every morning and to see how the leaves had changed overnight from the view of the mountain room.

Lovely home

Lovely home in the mountains of North Carolina. Road to the house is narrow and windy but worth the trip up! Owner and property manager very helpful with any issues.

Worth the trip

Blackberry Cottage is just exactly what it says it is and more. What they don't tell you is that it is perched on a hill with a family room that fells like you are in a tree house. The house is well appointed with more amenities than other places I have rented. The host was quick to answer any questions. My family arrived from different locations to attend a wedding so our stay was rather short, but we all agreed we wished we had the time to extend our stay. Hope to visit again to explore this beautiful region.

Love Blackberry

Great communication, easy check in, clean, spacious but cozy feeling. Everything I could think of was provided. Beds and furniture were super comfortable. Location is safe and great for exploring the area. I hope we return soon. Thank!

Nice Mountain House

The house is nice and cozy. We had a nice view of the golf course and mountains. The house was supplied with everything that we needed. The property manager was helpful and was quick to respond. We had a great time and would stay here again.

Love, love, LOVE the Mountain Room

We spent a relaxing week at Blackberry cottage. It was just what we hoped for, a refreshing getaway! The house is well appointed and has everything needed for a comfortable stay. As others have stated, we felt like we were in a home, not a rental property. We spent the majority of our time in the Mountain Room. It’s like being in a treehouse! We arrived just after a major winter storm. David was kind enough to call before we were scheduled to arrive to let us know he would check on the house to make sure everything was ok. He was available throughout our stay to answer questions. We hope to make this an annual getaway!

Beautiful Mountain Home

Welcoming Home With Stunning View

Relax and refresh your mind, body and soul in this beautiful one level mountain home. The mountain room is a truly peaceful space to start and end the day. We took several rides in the area to see the fall color and waterfalls. We enjoyed meals in some of the local restaurants. And Ingles is close by for our picnicking needs. Wonderful trip!!

Excellent Stay

The house was so great and cozy. Unlike other VRBOs this house felt lived in and not vacant, which made it feel more comfortable. The property manager was so accommodating and very communicative. Great stay!

Spectacular View

We loved, the view, the piano, the comfortable beds, full kitchen, location, and ammenities. I would recommend direct tv for when there is a rainy day and someone might want to watch news or sports. The house is a gem and offered us a lovely vacation.

Perfect Getaway in Sapphire

We stayed here 2 years ago during the first year of the pandemic and loved it so much we booked early to be assured of our dates this year in June. The house is very cozy and inviting like you are visiting a friend's house. The outdoor deck is fabulous for afternoon and evening happy hour and dinner. The Mountain Room is great for TV and board games. All of the kitchen items are there to prepare your own meals so you don't need to find a restaurant. We hope to be back next year.

Could never thank them enough

I purchased a business in the area & drove from ca with my dogs. My Porsche Cayenne broke down the following day & let me tell you no rental car barely towing. The listing Adgent actually loaned me his Mercedes! I would of been had without these wonderful people. I hope the owners will vist my business with their dogs so i can return the favor! Definitely a fantastic stay! I am moved into my new property now and were all still friends!
