Enjoyed our visit. Home was more than accommodating. Was good to visit where I grew up and see just how much things have changed!

Great Location

This is a great old Florida house and really cool. Plenty of space. The kitchen is somewhat limited but worked just fine for us. All in all we'll be back

Attentive hosts

Cindi texted often to tell us where to go and what to see. They even located a canoe for us to use. We enjoyed Homosassa, but you need a boat to get around, and a substantial beach is far away. We loved the Homosassa Springs Wildlife Park so much we went twice. Lots of manatee sightings.

Here’s a polished version that stays fair while clearly explaining your experience:Overall, our stay was okay, but there were a few things that didn’t match the listing.The property was advertised as a 3-bedroom, 2-bath home. When we arrived, there were only two actual beds. One bedroom was completely empty, and another bedroom didn’t have a door—just curtains—so privacy was limited. I would have appreciated knowing I needed an air mattress for one of my children, the couches are not pull out either. The home also had multiple window A/C units, and the back bedrooms stayed much warmer than the rest of the house, making them uncomfortable to sleep in.On the positive side, they were very accommodating with our French Bulldog, which we really appreciated.If you’re staying for scalloping, the location is decent, but it’s much farther from the boat ramp than advertised. The listing stated it was 0.09 miles away, which was not accurate.Overall, it’s not a terrible place to stay, but I think the listing should be updated to accurately reflect the accommodations so guests know what to expect.

Perfect spot with lots of space

If you’re looking for a 3 bedroom 2 bath and pull out couch, this is the home for you! Tons of space to spread out inside the home. Please note that this is by the water tower . The listing makes it look like it’s by the elementary school but it is not. This home was very clean and had everything we needed! I would definitely stay here again

The rental experience was Flawless. Very accommodating and responsive host. The road in front of the property is a little busy especially on weekends. Easy access to boat launch (1.5mls) and restaurants. Plenty of room on property for boat trailer. All in all a very pleasant stay

Homosassa Scalloping trip

The property was everything we needed. Very clean, everything worked and well stocked with necessities. It is a great value and I'd stay again.

Fantastic holiday experience!

This was a great 4th of July scaling adventure. The property was just as advertised. Although dated, it was comfortable with plenty of room for four adults. The owners were very responsive and helpful throughout the entire process. I asked a lot of questions about the house and the location. They were very helpful in assisting me with finding a convenient location to put mt boat up for the weekend. Overall it was a great holiday weekend experience thanks to Cindi. Highly recommended!

Beautiful Weather in March 2020- but Pandemic made it different

Cindi was a great Hostess, easy to reach and very responsive. The house was very clean and well stocked. The only thing we were disappointed in was the profile said it was "a quiet wooded lot." Yulee is a very busy street at all times of day and night. The motorcycle traffic was especially busy on weekends. Even the back yard has fairly close neighbor. There were many close restaurants and shopping alternatives. Unfortunately, the Corona virus made us decide to leave early. The modest pricing and location still keep it attractive.

Thanks Grace, Sorry about the traffic while you were here its on and off depending on season and river events. The little purple house next door is ours also and we do make sure they are quiet and respectful if we rent it while your houses rented. We really appreciate your comments and as the town grows it seems more and more peoples are visiting down town. If you guys come back to the are please visit us at the Blue Moon B&B around the corner. It sits on 3 acres on the canal and is very quiet and a private setting. Im sure you would love it here. I would love to offer you a few days free along with your booking to make up for you leaving early. Please stay safe and thank you for leaving our house in perfect sparkling condition!

Fine budget oriented home

Most enjoyed were the morning bird songs coming from the jungle out back. Old town is a quieter experience than the white sand beach areas, although a beautiful sandy beach is only 15 minutes away. Most any shopping or dining experience can be found on the highway (19) a few miles away. Or walk to a couple taverns with good food and live music at times. Fishing and scenic trips seem to be the order of the day. I went for the kayaking and swimming in the warm springs nearby. With a gps phone one can map out endless routes through the sand bars and islands with plenty of public launching facilities. The house it self is efficient as a base to explore the area for those on a budget and wish to spend their money on fishing or boat renting adventures. It has what is needed with out having some of the luxuries that one might gain by spending more money. The communication with management is excellent and any maintenance issues were handled promptly.

Scalloping Trip

This was a comfortable house for our group of 6. We spent very little time at the house as we were on the water most of the trip. Very close to MacRae's and the boat ramps. Plenty of room to park a boat. We had our 25 ft tritoon on a trailer and it fit just fine (with the truck) on the asphalt pad in front of the house. Purchase ice at the ice dispensing machine across the street at the campgrounds instead of battling the madness by the ramp (they were out every morning by 9:00am). We enjoyed drinks at the Old Mill Tavern down the road every evening. We would definitely stay here again, the home completely suited our needs.

This house was very comfortable with excellent customer service from the property owner.

My family and I spent a week in this home at the end of March. We were very comfortable and found the property manager very accommodating when we had any questions or concerns. Our favorite outings were to the Homosassa State Wildlife Reserve and the Weeki Wachee State Park with a beautiful beach and live mermaids. There are still more attractions we did not get to - in the Homosassa area, so we are planning to return in the near future.

Cozy and comfy in a private setting

My family and I stayed here and it was cozy and comfy. We really enjoyed being close to the water and boat ramps to enjoy natural Florida. The owner is very friendly and very quick to respond with any questions or concerns. I would stay here again.
